I stopped by at the request of my insurance company to get a Estimate. The lady at the desk, said that I needed to get a the assignment immediately before the estimator could look at it. I didn't want to give them the assignment until I knew what the estimate was I don't know anything about this company. read more

I needed an insurance estimate. They were fast and efficient and the estimator was willing to explain in detail and patiently how the estimate would work and explained how many different parts are required for a specific fix. It was a very transparent process and they provided the estimate very quickly to the insurance company. I picked Gerber based on the proximity to my place and it turned out to be a good decision. read more

Don and Mary had my back from the start. Mary was prompt with getting me answers and information and also sympathetic to my situation. Don was also great at informing me of the process and was great at keeping me up to date with the repairs. The final product was astonishing! My car looked better than it was before! My car was sparkling and they even detailed the inside! (They were just replacing the front bumper, headlights, hood and that whole area.) They also finished the job four days earlier than the original estimate and even helped organize getting my rental car. They really helped turn a negative situation (car accident that wasn't my fault) into a hassle-free experience. I would 100% recommend them to anyone needing work done on their car. read more

Let's be honest, having body work done on your vehicle is not fun at all but this experience was not bad. Gerber did a great job of communicating and keeping me updated on the status of my car by texting every couple of days. Never, ever, EVER again. Gerber doesn't actually do glass, they subcontract out the work to all the other people in the area that actually do glass. They are 100% incapable of getting scheduling right. If you can imagine a mistake, they made it. They botched scheduling catastrophically 4 times! They scheduled without checking whether they actually had the glass for our vehicle, they scheduled without checking whether they had the replacement bezel for our vehicle, they scheduled on a rainy day with technicians that for unimaginable reasons were sent to do glass in the Pacific Northwest without coverings. They didn't call and say "it's raining and we don't have a pop-up". When we figured it out and tried to reschedule Gerber suggested a home visit on another day with forecasted rain! They ignored clear scheduling window requirements on 3 separate occasions. They scheduled a technician in a time window when the technician would be cities away and unable to arrive within 2 hours of the already wrong scheduling window. When we finally got the glass replaced, it was by sheer dumb luck communicating with the technician directly and completely sidestepping Gerber's scheduling. Don't make our mistake: stay far away from this parasite of a company. read more

I made an appointment and was relieved I wouldn't have to get a rental or drop my car off to get an estimate. Jason S. greeted me with a firm handshake and a smile and looked over my vehicle. He seemed very confident, honest, and knowledgeable. He told me he would get an estimate back to me and insurance same day, and he did. ZERO communication. Claim and payment directly assigned to them by insurance company, photos and estimate were sent a week in advance of my appointment. I stopped in the day before the appointment to make sure parts had been ordered, I was told no parts were ordered and that photos had to be taken first. Huh? They HAD photos from the insurance company! I had called FOUR times and never been told this. When I asked why no one told me, the "estimator" said "I don't know". Don't go to Gerber. read more

I am in complete agreement with Diana B.!! For months I have been singing the praises of Professional Collision -- until today. And NEVER again. An adjuster I know recommended them back in January after a serious collision to my 11 DAY old Altima. The damage was extensive and while it took them the entire month of February to finish the repairs, they offered an extra level of service by keeping me apprised of the progress with a weekly phone call, which I noted as a really nice customer service touch. When my car was finally ready to be picked-up, the agent walked me to the car for a visual inspection of the repairs and reminded me that all repairs are guaranteed for as long as I own the vehicle. I thought that was an exceptional policy that provided me with some security, since even though it was a 2016 Certified Reconditioned model, I hadn't even driven it for full 2 weeks yet! All seemed in order at the time. After driving it only back and forth to physical therapy and eventually, the 11 miles to work for a few months, I noticed the car beginning to rattle and vibrate like an old muffler when I was going up even a small hill. It began to shimmy a little when it reached 60 mph. And now the brakes were sending out an ear-piercing squeal until the car was warmed up. Nothing serious -- but clearly things that were not happening before the repairs and they were getting worse. Finally, last week I called and made an appointment to come in during my vacation to have them assess/repair the problem. After the accident there was something hanging below the car that I thought could have come loose again and was contributing to the problem. I was hoping it was something simple like that. During my phone call, the receptionist (Crystal?) was pleasant and courteous, but at no time while setting my appointment for 11 AM today, did she mention that the company had changed hands (all signs still said Professional Collision) and therefore they may not be able to honor any previous policies. What transpired in the first 10 minutes after I walked in the door was a lesson in poor customer service: - When I explained why I was there, the service rep simply stated that he was there by himself and the computers were down. - I said that was told that the inspection and possible repairs were covered under their repair policy. I received a terse - "Well, that was Professional Collision. We're Gerber." What? I turned around to read the sign by the road and on the front door that both said Professional Collision. I thought that's where I was! - When I stated that I had an appointment - he looked shocked and asked me when I made an appointment?? "Last week." - Evidently he then texted the manager but didn't mention that's what he was doing, so he appeared to be ignoring me. And then took a customer call while I was standing right in from of him waiting for a response. - In the meantime, I wrote down my information gave it to him before He even asked for it. And I left to make real use of my vacation time by taking the trip I postponed to have my car repaired. No contingency plan for when computers go down to contact the people who have set appointments for that day?? I took vacation time just to bring my car in and no one thought - maybe we should try to find contact information for today's customers?? Let alone send out a letter or email letting former customers know that the company has changed hands??? Or "While I have you on the phone you may want to know..." Communication is the master key to customer service! Clearly Professional Collision is gone. As a long-time customer service rep and retail manager, I find this level of service ridiculous. If Gerber chooses to not honor the previous work done on my car, I guarantee that I will not use or endorse them and am letting everyone on my social media network know to avoid them. I took my Honda in to get an estimate on my right side back panel there's just a little tiny boo-boo there. When I was filling out the paperwork there was a question on there that asked you to put your mileage you could or you didn't have to it was optional so I didn't because what is my mileage have to do with the estimate all I want you to do was look at it and tell me how much is gonna cost and that's it this lady that was working in there she didn't come across to me as professional she was not dress professional after I filled out the paperwork she took it from me was entering in the computer then she had the nerve to come over to me and tell me that she need my keys to go check my mileage I was very hesitant to give it to her because what does that have to do with anything once again so she went over there Got in the car and then all of a sudden realized that this car is a 1997 Honda Civic obviously it's not gonna be digital she didn't need my keys at all she didn't even need to be in my personal space in my car in the first place that just pissed me off!! Then I'm sitting in the office and I look outside and I see her taking pictures of my bumper that I have a boo-boo on but that's not the reason I came there it was for my passenger back panel OK I don't know what is so hard to understand about that I only came there for that I went outside and I said why are you taking pictures of the whole entire car I walked over to the spot and I'm like this is the only thing I wanna estimate on and she continued to tell me some bullshit that they take pictures of the whole entire car for blah blah blah I'm like yeah whatever OK so then I went back inside and then after I don't know what the fuck she did on the computer she printed the paper off and came to me and said they needed to take my bumper off to go through there just to get to my bad panel that seems way out of line I got an estimate from Macco and they didn't tell me nothing like that they didn't have to go through my bumper they didn't take pictures of my whole entire car the guy listen to me which this girl didn't when I told him it was just for this little spot on the side. He was very professional and I will be giving my money to him. Visiting Gerber collision was one of the worst decisions ever their customer service sucks when I walked in the office when I very first got there there was nobody even in the office to greet you there was a gentleman and older one in the back office on the computer and I felt like he was trying to hide because he didn't want to come out and talk to nobody well specifically me I was the only one in the fucking office then I kept standing there and eventually he stood up acting all surprise like oh how can I help you I'm like are you serious and then I told him what I needed and then he goes OK let me go get somebody first of all don't ask me how you can help me and then you cannot even help me the girls that are supposed to be in the office should be there at all times that is your job not to get up and go run around anywhere else I am highly annoyed with Gerber collision and the people that work there you guys have horrible customer service you need to learn how to dress professionally for the job you have that looks nasty. I recently had my auto repaired at Gerber Collision & Glass in Mukilteo due to a collision. I was very impressed at my first visit and was treated with utmost courtesy. I was asked if I needed a rental and when I dropped my auto off the rental was waiting for me. Many companies providing services are more concerned about their bottom line, mainly their financial aspect. But in my opinion Gerber Collision & Glass provides services that used to be provided years ago - that is that the cusomer is very important and comes first. The office worked very smoothly with the insurance company of the person who caused the accident and Chris kept in contact with me to keep me updated on the process of the service on my auto. Gerber treats their customers like family and goes above and beyond the normal service. You will not be disappointed if you decide to use Gerber - you will be happy you did. read more
