I spoke with Raymond and he took the time to listen to my worries and then explained everything to me without any rush. He helped me out with getting a great towing service because my cars radiator and hoses died so the car was undriveable. He quoted me a price about 2-2.5x's cheaper than the dealership I was going to get work from. I also used that dealership about a week prior when they did diagnostics on it (before the radiator blew) because my car was shaking. So the dealership charged me an arm an a leg and the car still shook, then they tried to have me come back to fix other "potential" issues. Thanks to Raymond and his team, they did their own diagnostics and found that the wheels weren't balanced which the dealership said they had done. Raymond also documented the issue so I can bring it to the dealership as proof and reimbursement. From the point of view of honesty, I told Raymond all the issues the dealership said I had with the car and MFK Auto could have charged me a ton or made up things that weren't an issue. Instead they told me what was going on as well as the wheels weren't balanced, they corrected the issue at a minor cost without coming up with other issues that I never had. He graciously accommodated me and had me out of the garage in an hour. As other reviewers online have noted, the waiting room is immaculate and they offer snacks and WiFi while you wait. When he was finished, he recommended an additional service that wasn't needed imminently, but one to keep in mind for the not-so-distant future given the mileage on my car. I was confused to enough where I called, but was greeted by a friendly employee, who said they would meet me outside to direct me where to go. Instructed to leave my keys, I was invited inside and went to the counter, where I registered everything and had a seat in their waiting area across the way. Thankfully there was a television, and some dance movie (Step Up 3 or something) was playing. Even though it was far from the beginning, I still watched since there was pretty much nothing else for me to do. A couple others were waiting for their cars, one had a laptop plugged in. Behind there were some vending machines and the restrooms; I point this out because other places where I have gotten my oil change do not have such extras so this was a good thing. Within the hour, I was out of there, and the girl working the front was super-sweet and helpful. Although I was initially quoted a lower price for the estimate, I forgot this was a larger vehicle than what I am accustomed to so of course required more oil so I wasn't put off by this. Please note there is a surcharge for using plastic, so I was glad I had cash on me. For something as simple as an oil change, I can highly recommend East Coast Auto Service.

She told me about Don and his wife Cherida at Ace Auto Repair. She had nothing but praise for them and the service they provide at their repair shop. She further said they will not take advantage of you (being a lone woman taking in a car for repair). I contacted Don and he told me to bring in the car the very next day. I was greeted by his wife Cherida who was all too pleasant and knowledgeable. They took my car round to their shop in the back and in minutes were able to tell me what looked to be wrong, they even fix/changed the brake light that I didn't know was out - at no cost!!! She said she didn't want me to get a ticket before I brought the car in for further repair. Since they were super busy, she asked me to bring back the car the next day first thing so they could work on fixing the other problems. I took the car in at 8am and left it for them to do what needed to be done. Throughout the day I received a couple of calls from Cherida informing me of other issues Queenie had and she told me the course of action and price quote! I love the detailed attention and communication from Cherida. They promised they would have the car all fixed by the end of the day since I needed the car early the next day, and true to her word - Cherida called to tell me the car was ready and I could pick up Queenie before 5pm. The mechanic who worked on my car reminded me that there were other (electrical issues) problems with the car but nothing urgent where I couldn't drive it. First time I've driven Queenie and felt confident that I was safe and I wouldn't be stranded, that's worth everything! And their charge - wow!!!! So reasonable, they surely do not take you for a ride! I have my very own mechanic in Boynton Beach, WooHoo!!! I am taking her back and fixing the other problems still pending!!!
