Not a good place to take your car. This was service on a 2001 E39 M5. Long repair times and no feedback on status of vehicle from service advisor unless prompted. Also quality of work and attention to detail is suspect. On first visit car was there for routine maintenance/fluid replacements. They also diagnosed a power steering leak and repaired said leak. After getting car home and parking it overnight I saw that it was leaking profusely. Took it back to them and they diagnosed it as another power steering leak. If they had taken the time to verify that all leaks were addressed on the first visit it would have prevented the second visit. The service advisor seems like a nice enough guy but lack of empathy for the customers time and inconvenience is what I took away from this experience. First visit they had the car for more than 8 business days. Second visit the same. Only good thing about this experience is they did keep my car inside as requested and the interior was not greasy and dirty as some service visits will leave your vehicle and the exterior was reasonably clean. If I had to this over again I would have just taken it to the BMW dealer and paid the premium price as the price of service was no bargain. read more

I've been taking my car here for several years. Over the last year, their service has not been good and has been overpriced. I took my car there to have a front headlamp replaced. They charged me over $200 dollars for 15 minutes worth of work. Even the Mercedes dealership I used to take my car to wouldn't charge that. When I complained, they tell me they can give me a credit next time I come. I've lost confidence in German Motors so doubtful I'll return. read more

We go here annually for an oil change and overall check up on our 2017 VW Golf. It might be slightly more expensive than other places for an oil change, but the service is awesome. They make it super easy to schedule an appointment, the estimate has always been spot on, and when the VW dealership said we needed to spend $3400 (!!!!!) on a new cooling system after doing recall work, we took it to German Auto and they found no problem. That was two years ago and still no problem. The VW dealer told us that the car would be worthless in two months if we didn't do the work. The car gets driven 5-6K per year. It gives me peace of mind having our 9 year old car checked regularly by actually honest pros instead of fly by night places or scammy dealerships. read more

German Motors saved me when my 2014 Audi Q7 decided to act up right before smog time. The diesel particulate filter (DPF) went out and they were able to get the part in quickly so I could pass smog without dragging this out for weeks. It wasn't a cheap fix (DPF stuff never is), but they still came in noticeably lower than what Audi Henderson quoted me -- which I really appreciated. Since the repair, I've had zero issues and the check engine light has stayed off. Shoutout to Moshe for keeping me in the loop the whole time -- clear communication, no runaround. None of what you stated is true, you never showed me an invoice. Moshe let's be honest and please don't question me about facts. You showed me a part number on your screen. And showed me a box that had motor mounts that you ordered. You called me after having my car for 10 days. To tell me your tech said there is nothing wrong with the motor mounts. You showed me the box and refused to replace the mounts. Because you said your tech said there is nothing wrong with them. I said well since you have them just replace them and your response was no. That mine were working fine and Audi would not take them back. I asked where you purchased the mounts and you said Audi on Sahara. I then said I would go to get second opinion and then you said well maybe I ordered them online. Not knowing where you ordered them just a couple of days from ordering, you seemed to forget where they came from. Moshe the manager is a lier and a scammer, just look at all his 1 star reviews on Yelp and Google. I had my car repaired and they stored in the shop for over 6 months, if they claim the ran all the tests and repaired what was needed for the car to be operated. Every time I took the car back, something happened. Went again, they told me there are other things broke down and needed to be repaired (again? when they already ran all the test before). I spent the money to repair as their request, drove the car back - 3rd time. Another issue happened again, brought the car back, they now are pushing responsibilties when they were the only shop repaired the car. Now the car is completed unoperated after I spent 15k on the repair. Do your research, don't take your car there, they will destroy it and want you to pay for their mistake. read more

They inspected the car and told my daughter she needed a timing belt fix. We brought it to Mercedes and they said whoever told you the timing belt needed to be serviced was trying to rip you off. I would highly recommend coming here if you are trying to find a shop who won't charge you dealer prices. I had a check engine light on my Audi Q7 and the dealer told me I would need a new water pump even though I just had that replaced. German Motors was able to find a leaking vacuum hose that needed to be replaced. I got my car back the same day and it cost me literally a third of the price and the issue is gone. I had a car that was displaying very peculiar issues. It was foreign, so I took it to German Motors and they had it back to (somewhat) normal in no time. I had an old corvette that I was working on with my father. I am a gearhead, but he was the brains behind this car. Unfortunately, dad passed, and the Corvette was left to me on my own. I couldnt fix it by myself. Eventually I got a job working at an old junkyard. On my birthday, my boss, Uncle Hank gifted me an old Yellow VW bug. I had wanted it for so many years. There was something about it that I just wanted to transform. It was the best birthday gift ever. Well, I put all of my effort into fixing this old VW B-127. Sometimes I felt like it was just looking at me; like it had a face and mind of its own. Eventually I got it running, but it had some weird issues. The radio would turn on and it was almost like it was trying to tell me something. The car would change radio channels and I wouldnt even touch the dial. The lights would come on and off, and it had this weird tendency to almost drive it's self. I would take out B on Sunday drives, and other cars would aggressively drive around me. They must have been jealous of how beautiful B was. I kept seeing this blue semi truck shouldering traffic from me just randomly. After a few months, I took it to German Motors. The staff at German Motors was so professional. Many other shops wouldnt believe me about the issues I was having with my car, but Daniel and Ramon had an idea of what was wrong. They mentioned something about a cube and a spark issue. They had B back to me within 3 days. They said it was just routine maintenance, and I would need to go somewhere that specializes in radios for the music issue. To this day, it still somehow finds music that speaks to me, especially that song Drive by The Cars. German Motors even gave me a discounted rate from what they quoted because they said the car practically fixed it's self. Fast forward a few months. I have a really cute boyfriend named Memo and we take B up to the cliffs to hang out and sometimes cliff dive. They say "the darkest nights produce the brightest stars." Well, German Motors produced a bright star in my boy B. I love this car so much now, that I will go to Cybertron and back to ride this bad boy! read more
