I had no idea we would get charged extra for every drink otherwise we would have stuck with water or whatever was included with the buffet price. We ended up spending more than $40 just on orange juice. I could have bought 8 gallons for that price. I would have never paid for all those refills if I knew I was going to be charged. I thought it was all included. There was no prices posted anywhere and there was no menus because its a buffet. That really bothered me for a long time and I wanted to ask for a refund for that amount to be honest. Life happened and I never got around to it. Other than that I did like the experience and would definitely do it again. I just wish they explained the drink pricing before you order. We had two specialty drinks, salad- add chicken (perfectly cooked and well-seasoned), a sandwich with truffle fries, and of course- the butter cake. Superb. I'm glad we went today. Everything arrived within a reasonable amount of time, was nicely prepared, and we both enjoyed our meals. My wife also enjoyed her iced tea, and my water glass was kept adequately supplied. There was really only one negative during our visit, and it wasn't entirely the restaurant's fault. A family sitting nearby had children use the restroom, and unfortunately they left it in pretty bad condition. My wife went in immediately afterward, came back out, and we let our server know what had happened. The one thing that could have been handled better was the follow-up. No one came back to let us know whether the restroom had been taken care of, so my wife ultimately decided she could wait until we got home. When a customer reports something like that, a quick "It's all taken care of now" would go a long way. Overall, though, we had a good experience. The service was prompt, the food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and it's nice to see another locally owned seafood option in the neighborhood. Bill with a 22% tip came out to $70. We're giving the Crab House four stars out of five on this first visit, and we'll certainly be interested in seeing how things go the next time around.

We were sat immediately in the intimate, candle lit dining room. There are only a few tables in the side dining room which makes the experience feel more exclusive from the bustling bar area. The table spread felt very upscale and chic - with simple white linens and a small tealight candle. At this time, it was surprisingly empty in the dining room. I believe only one or two tables were occupied. It was quiet and very peaceful. The server came quickly to take our drink order. We ordered two Ranch Waters, which came out quickly also. They were quite strong to say the least and very affordable! For our entree, we split the Pan Seared Pistachio Salmon. There is a $5 fee to split the plate which is slightly annoying but understandable. The food was absolutely incredible. The salmon had a lovely crust and was super soft. The couscous and carrots were very flavorful. They were perfectly seasoned and garlicky. Despite being split, the portion was perfect. The salmon filet was quite large and filling. When we made the reservation online, we noted that we were celebrating a birthday. Towards the conclusion of our meal, we were pleasantly surprised with three dessert options, of which my friend selected some sort of chocolate pie or cake. It was also incredible. The crust was crunchy and the chocolate was decadent. It did not feel heavy to eat at all. What really made our night, however, was the card they brought for the birthday girl.
