Avoid this place!!! I am telling every single person I know not to come here. I was SO excited to have found my dream dress here at an affordable price. I was helped by Shannon who was such a sweetheart but unfortunately stopped working there and everything since has been a horrible experience. When I was measured by Sara she recommended me to size down in the dress despite her measurements to be larger than the recommended size. I initially went with her recommendation but felt uneasy about it and was able to email to change it right away. First step is to make absolutely sure your measurements will match and don't give your bride the risk of having a dress that is too small. I had to ask if there was any additional fabric to let out the dress if it was too small and I would've been out of luck if the dress indeed was too small. I ordered the dress in October 2021 expecting an April 2022 arrival due to supply delays. No problem as I ordered the dress a year in advance to give myself ample time. I get the dress in April and discover the illusion underneath on the bodice is the WRONG COLOR from the sample. They had mislabeled the sample size and gave some BS about how you have to specify which color you want on the bodice. Don't mislabel the COLOR on your samples, this is so important. I had to reorder the dress and was now told my new arrival date was going to be SEPTEMBER 2022, one month before my wedding. I couldn't believe it and pushed to have the dress arrive a little earlier as alterations take at least a month and my wedding is also not in the area. I was contacted early, in July 2022, saying my dress was here and I was so pleased that the dress had come early. I get there and wait almost half an hour before Sara comes out with the WRONG COLOR DRESS again. Some other BS about how the dress they received was supposed to go to a different store. I am now told that the original shipping date of around Sept 2022 still holds. At this point I am angry but I try to be patient thinking as long as I had the right dress in time for alterations I would be fine and was given a very small discount for my trouble. I FINALLY received the dress on the last day of August and thankfully it was the right color. Things didn't seem amiss until I brought it to alterations at a different shop - now the seamstress points out by holding a mirror at my back that the zipper isn't aligned to my spine and the lace paneling is larger on one side than the other. I was horrified I hadn't noticed this in the store but of course since it was in the back I couldn't tell when I had the gown on in the store. I now have to pay several hundred dollars extra and have only a few weeks to alter the dress due to the continual delays and mistakes on their end. I asked for a refund as everything about this experience has been a total nightmare and they have quoted me their ridiculous policy of no refunds once the dress leaves the store. All this would be understandable had I gotten the right dress at the right time. None of that happened so I am out over a thousand dollars. I was asked to bring the dress back so they could "see the issue" when they are well aware I have less than a month to alter the dress and they have no way to get me a new dress in time anyway. There was no compromise even just to cover the cost of the extra alterations that I need, and basically they are saying it's my problem since I didn't point out the issue when I picked it up. What is even more insulting is that when I tried to tell the manager Sara about these issues, including photos that clearly show the defects in the dress, she was dismissive and claimed there were no issues which is a total lie. Not only did my seamstress point it out but I showed several different people without telling them what was wrong, and all could see that the dress is not centered properly so for her to claim there are no faults in the dress is frankly disrespectful. Shady business to overlook these things knowing it would be difficult for me to see the back of the dress and the issue is not noticeable without actually having the dress on. TLDR; I wasted my time and money driving back and forth so many times, receiving TWO incorrect dresses and even the final dress I received FIVE MONTHS AFTER MY PROMISED DATE wasn't made right, with no compensation for my inconvenience. They may have a large selection but you're better off going to a different shop that will treat you right and give you the right product. read more

A little late on writing this. I got my wedding dress this January and I cannot recommend this place enough!! First, the quality and price of dresses compared to other places I checked out is way better than other places! Teresa!! T!!!! Is absolutely the best person I interacted with during my journey. I did my first appointment with her and she took my feedback so well and could figure out the perfect direction to move forward in. I shopped at a few other wedding dress stores after and I didn't have nearly as good as experiences with the people helping me. There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how happy I am with the service I received from Sarah H. 10/10 recommend. I went in with no idea of what I wanted and I have a whole year and 1/2 before my wedding. I was only going in for fun with my mom while she was visiting from out of state. I was so grateful for Ajeray's warm, patient, and friendly help when I embarked on the journey of selecting a wedding dress! I went in with very little knowledge of what I wanted, and she taught and guided me so much as we tried on dresses. I particularly appreciated Ajeray's expertise - we'd try on a dress, and she'd ask me what I liked or disliked about the dress (ex: I like the sillouette but not the beading), clarify to make sure she understood, and help comb through the extensive bridal selection for another dress that would be closer to my dream. Trying on dresses was a comfortable experience as staff are very respectful of your privacy as you put on the dress, then help you clip or lace up as needed if the dress is too large. She also helped us understand what types of alterations might be required. Overall, this process could have been much more overwhelming but it was not thanks to Ajeray - I strongly recommend requesting her! Gesinee's overall was also professional and helpful, with friendly front desk staff, helpful appointment reminders, and in-house alterations and accessory options if desired. I'm so happy I gave this place a second chance. My initial appointment was with a consultant who honestly did not seem too happy to help me. She was so flat throughout the appointment and would make some smart-ass comments. She also made very unprofessional comments when I told her what bridal store I initially went to and which consultant helped me (apparently she was a former employee). Wedding dress shopping is supposed to be fun but she just flat out sucked. I decided to give it a second chance because I felt I had found the dress I wanted, but requested to be with a different consultant. When I came back a couple weeks later, I was set up with Katie who was hands down the best consultant I could've ever asked for! She was the complete opposite of my initial consultant and made my experience 10000x better. I initially didn't plan to come to Gesinee's Bridal for my dress, but the other location I had an appointment at flaked on me. This store was recommended to me by my god mother as a possible shop since the other place flaked. I honestly feel like that was a blessing in disguise because my appointment at Gesinee's was the best appointment I could have asked for. They got me in last minute 2 days before my appointment and my stylist was Sarah H. She was super sweet on the phone when we were scheduling the appointment. I started the daunting search for my wedding dress, and Gesinee's Bridal was the first place I set up an appointment with. Don't let the exterior of the shop fool you, Gesinee offers over 2,000 dresses and claims you will find "the one." Making an appointment was easy, and I like that they close later compared to other bridal shops in the area. They also have their own parking lot! I arrived a little earlier than my appointment, but was seen right away. I was paired up with Alexis, who was laid-back, knowledgeable, and patient. Since this was my first time checking out wedding dresses, I was more interested in trying on different styles than actively looking for THE dress. Alexis was understanding of that and she was able to grab me a little bit of every style. I greatly appreciate her flexibility and patience, as I was overwhelmed and indecisive about some of the dresses. I also appreciate that Alexis was not too pushy about buying a dress then and there. If you are searching for a wedding dress, I suggest checking out Gesinee. They offer a wide variety of dresses with different price points. The shop is fairly clean and large, but slightly outdated. HUGE shoutout to Katie for being so amazing during my wedding dress shopping experience! I had absolutely no idea what type of wedding dress I wanted, so I had a feeling it would take me a while to make a decision (especially considering how indecisive I usually am). Gesinee's was my first stop, but little did I know it would be my only stop. As I mentioned above, I literally had no preference as to what type of style, color, lace, sequins, or anything leading up to what dress I would buy. Katie was so patient with me, bringing a myriad of styles for me to try on and fine-tuning my style based of whatever feedback I had for each dress. I appreciated that I never felt rushed during my appointments. Unfortunately I was dress shopping in the thick of COVID, so there were restrictions as to how many people I could have with me at my appointments. Katie was so gracious to allow me to have a total of 3 appointments so I could showcase my top choices to my bridesmaids and so they could help put my mind at ease about this big decision. Honestly if I hadn't had Katie as my consultant I don't think my experience would have been nearly as magical because she did such an amazing job of listening, reading between the lines to find my style, and offering suggestions without being overbearing. The few times she had to temporarily step out it just wasn't the same; while the other ladies who helped were nice, I found some to be a bit pushy. Let me tell you about the amazing customer service provided to me at Gesinee's. I called in for a last minute appt to just look at the dresses because I had been turned away at other shops, and was extremely frustrated driving from shop to shop to find the right dress. Anyway, they were so sweet and reassuring. They "squeezed me in" last minute but didn't for one second make me that way from the second I walked in the door until I left. My consultant, Teresa, was AMAZING. I was alone, which turns out, really sucks when trying on wedding dresses. Teresa was so encouraging and sweet to me. She really made me feel more comfortable. I had a bunch of guidelines for the dress I wanted, and she did a great job showing me options, especially since I only have 2 months until my wedding (no it is not a shotgun wedding).
