Super solid food! We ordered two grinders and a small pepperoni pizza. Everything came out exactly as we requested it and tasted fantastic. The grinders were crisp and FULLY loaded with meats and cheese. No skimping here! The thick pizza had tons of pepperoni and the crust was crunchy. Everything was fresh and yummy! I'm really picky when it comes to ham grinders and pepperoni pizza. It's my Kryptonite! So when I find a good place....I stick with it. My fiancé said his meatball sub was savory and cheesy. We needed simple food for a family and what better than pizza. Very hard for me to go somewhere outside NYC pizza, but sometimes you need to compromise. Place got good reviews, we understood that we can't measure this to NY pizza, so we gave it a shot. I'm unsure why the stuffed crust, no sauce, cheese pizza is being called a calzone... really... having a hard time with it. It wasn't bad! But I ordered a calzone? I'm clear what a calzone is. Is this a local thing? My wife speaks Italian and people from across the globe take my lunch orders in New York City when I'm there, but never have I heard someone pronounce ricotta like that before. My wife had to repeat herself 4 times before he "corrected" her (nicely) and then watch my family cringe as she now used the local term. OK, rant over... The food was made promptly and wasn't half bad. And that is actually a pretty good compliment coming from a snobby New Yorker. It's better than dominos! Which is what I would order when in such a location. I honestly think the place can do a lot better. The sauce wasn't half bad and the dough was pretty good. Coming from NY and looking for a pizza place here in NH is not easy ! There are a hand full of establishments in the Lincoln area to choose from. My family and I decided to give GH a try . We ordered a large cheese calzone , a small veggie calzone , an eggplant Parmesan grinder ( hero ) and a Greek salad. Everything was adequate , it was all good but not the quality of what we were hoping for and what we were expecting. Although the dough was light and tasty the calzones were flat with very little ricotta inside more like a stuffed pizza instead of a traditional calzone. I did enjoy the marinara sauce it was seasoned well and not heavy . As for the eggplant , which also tasted good , and was not greasy it was unfortunately prepared with the skin on which made the eggplant very chewy . The salad was average , mostly with iceberg lettuce .... no Wows here . All in all this might be the best you can get here in the White Mountains ! read more

I came to GH after a poor experience at RRR (poor covid and general hygiene procedures). GH had a sign on the door asking orders to be called in ahead and asking that patrons wear a mask. Takeout pizza here is a well oiled machine. One way signs through the parking lot, 2 cash registers, 3 takeout windows inside all divided by plexiglass. This is the most care taken by COVID aware business that I ran into during a brief stay in New Hampshire. Bravo. BTW, the G-H Buffalo Chicken Pizza was surprisingly good. Substituting Feta for the typical Blue Cheese was a plus in my book, the cleaner flavors showed really nicely in an often muddled dish, and the grilled jalapeños bring freshness to the heat of a typical Buffalo Sauce. Great Greek style pizza. Not doughy and not thin crust. The toppings were perfect with the right amount of gooeyness. Watch your step when you enter it can be a trip up. I won't bore you with the backstory of where we were coming from or what we did that day. You don't care. So here it comes. A straight to the point review of one of the best damn pizza spots I've ever eaten at. It's definitely your basic pizza place, looks wise. Bench style seating, a bit warm-ish, temperature wise, self serve soda machine, L-shaped ordering/pick up counter. Employees there aren't exactly chipper. They are appropriately polite. But not smiley, by any means. Price? I think that some of the prices seemed high. We ordered a small cheese pizza and a small house pizza with 4 fountain drinks. Came to about $29. Not bad, I suppose. But when the food came out I was suddenly very okay with what I paid. The pizza was fan-effing-tastic. The crust was on the thick side but CRISPY which I love! Reminded me of the pizza place I'd frequent when I was a kid. And so many toppings! They were piled high and perfectly cooked! At first I'd been disappointed that this place didn't serve french fries but, sweet Lord, if you serve me pizza like this I no longer remember why I even wanted french fries in the first place! I order from here when I'm in town for the pizza. Good dough, gravy and toppings. My favorite is the Greeks, though now you must request the kalamata olives, where in the past they were standard. Order here and take it back to your rental or home and grab some drinks and enjoy! Surprisingly tasty pizza for all the way up here in the mountains! Definitely a nice soft, yet chewy texture and a decent amount of seasoning and flavor even in a plain pie. Also really loved the hot wings, they weren't overly fried or crispy but had a great flavor and personally like my wings to be closer to grilled sometimes. I had such a terrible experience here last night, I had to share. After a very long day of hiking, I was too tired to drive two hours home. I walked in and went straight to to the rest rooms. The owner yelled after me, can I help you. I replied that I would be ordering food, just needed to wash my hands first. She yelled after me sarcastically, yeah, sure you are! I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich, and sat down to wait for my order. I made sure to tip him, since he looked overwhelmed, and even said as much. And i waited. Then the fellow customers all realize that the guy who had taken my order had just left in the middle of his shift. People coming in to order food were just giving up after waiting 15 minutes and not getting service. Two groups who had ordered after me got served way ahead of me. Finally my sandwich comes out after almost an hour. I asked for a refill for my soda, and owner croaks at me, you can pay for it. I said, you've got to be kidding me, it just took fifty minutes for my sandwich to come out. She said, well it's going to take even longer and waddled off. I called after her, can I at least have some water? She didn't even turn her head. My sandwich was lousy. The chicken was practically burned, the marinara sauce was flavorless. And I was thirsty. When she came out qgain and started taking orders again, she said terrible things about the guy who had left. I know she was upset about being left there alone, but really dont start talking about his mental health. It was so apparent that she does not care about seasonal customers. read more

I'm 43 years old. I've lived all over the place in Canada and in the USA. I like pizza. But in the last 15-20 years, pizza's for the most part have lost their luster. Almost like they are not worth raving about to your friends and family let alone reviewing and rating online (unless they are an abysmal failure). Enter GH Pizza and Greek Restaurant in Lincoln, NH. I am visiting the region from MA for my end of summer vacation. This little gold mine has not only restored my faith in quality take away pizza, but has blown my mind by bringing me back to my youth and how awesome pizzas used to be. GH Pizza's menu has all the standard and specialty options. I ordered the House Pizza (so good, won't disappoint so try it). This pizza was half House and have plain cheese as my spouse prefers plain pizza. We were both super impressed by the pizza: appearance, quality and amount of flavorful ingredients used, and the mouth watering delicious factor. ! Five stars people...the BEST pizza I have had in a great many years. I live two hours away from Lincoln, NH and I am so impressed with GH Pizza that I would seriously consider coming out this way for a random visit, just to have it again. Jeepers Creepers...how I love a good greek pizza! And the pizza here is not just good, it's great. GH did a fine job with the super crisp crust and cheese that is lightly browned and spread about the surface of the entire pizza right up to the ridged edges. This is not the pizza you can fold in half and consume NY style, but not deep dish Chicago. If you like generous toppings on a firm, crisp crust, you can't go wrong at this place... The inside is no-frills and very dated. Don't think I've seen that much formica since the elementary school caf. Simply put, not much thought to decor. This restaurant is simply a filling station for bellies that have just been skiing or hiking in the White Mountains 'round here. And really, that's enough. We had an order to-go while staying up here with the family. The choice was a straight up large cheese and pepperoni with a greek salad. The order was ready in the time promised at a price that I felt was reasonable. Two adults and 3 small kids were happily stuffed after finishing up the meal. The Greek salad was enormous and came loaded with feta cheese and black olives (bonus pita bread, too!). Gyros, subs and fries round out the rest of the menu. Not sure about beer and wine. 5 stars for the pizza, 3 for the atmosphere and cashier's attitude (or lack of??). I was shocked at how good the pizza was - the crust actually has some crunch to it and was in no way soggy (all the way through from end to end). The veggie pizza was the best, and the white pizza was also good except you can soak several napkins full of grease off of it. The guy who was making the pizza was nice, but the girl at the cash register just seemed so bored and depressed to be where she is. It totally turned me off and I tried to ignore it. I looked her straight in the eyes and smiled, greeted her when I got up to the register to order, but nothing. Just a straight stare back. I keep telling myself maybe something else is wrong but still, if the place wants to step it up, they could use a cashier with better customer service skills and replace the old yucky booths inside. Hint: Get a large sized drink as refills are 50 cents. Also, the quarter-toy machines look as if the toys inside are 20 years old - discolored and yucky. read more

Pizza was very heavy and too doughy. I think they make their pizza as pan pizzas (think Pizza Hut) which made four a good crust but it was very very Bready. Very heavy handed with the cheese too. Counter service. Kid friendly. Disposable plates and silverware. Stay away from the salads. Absolutely the worst antipasto salad I've ever seen. Just a huge amount of iceberg lettuce with some cold cuts on top, one giant chunk of cucumber, thick slices of tomato and two olives with pits. The veggies aren't marinated or anything, just raw. They serve it in a tiny little plastic container so you can't mix it up or anything. You pour your dressing on top out of a little packet. Luckily my husbands calzone was gigantic so I ate half of that instead and it was delicious. The kids pizzas were also very good and the kids spaghetti and meatballs is big enough for two kids.
