Ghien tron cay. Basically a dry noodle bbh with a massive side of bbh broth and meats!
Kim L.

Ghien's food menu is simple as their speciality is bun bo hue. There are 4 items: 3 bun bo hue bowls with different cuts of meat and one dry noodle option. I tried the dry noodle dish and wow was it a great deal. I didn't expect to get a massive bowl of broth with the pork knuckle, beef shank, pork loaf and herbs. The dry noodle dish itself was reminiscent of bbh because it had all the same components with a special sauce coating on top. I enjoyed throwing in the meats from the soup so I could eat everything together. My bf got the regular bbh and it was delicious as well. It's probably the best bbh you can get on the west side. The broth is on the sweeter side so be sure to add the spicy chili oil they give you on the for the true experience.

Ghien Me (with black sesame)

We came here last week for lunch as were curious to check out a new bbh place in town. It was nice to see that they had a lunch crowd, but also bad that it took awhile to get our food (over half an hour). The Ghien Me drink (iced coffee with black sesame cream was good. We both ordered the beef ribs bbh. It was a bit a challenge to eat the beef of the ribs as it was a bit hard to get the meat off the bone. The broth was ok, but i felt it could use something to it. I think it may be due to that they are newer and still figuring things out and will try to check them out again another time.

New Vietnamese Noodle Soup Spot, with great flavor and traditional made, you know something gotta be good when you see elders eating traditional culture cuisine. Great drink/tea selection to choose from, Small corner restaurant with a welcoming vibe. Service felt family oriented, attentive, and welcoming. Recommend especially if you are a soup lover and not afraid of different meat selection such as tendon, or pork blood cake.

Inedible hunk of meat.

I hope they know how to cook Bún Bò Huế. No flavor, tasteless, expensive, and want to pay in cash. Never come back!

We got lucky and pulled into the last open spot. There were a good amount of people inside but we were seated right away. They have a little shop area in the front that was super cute too. Their menu is pretty large but in the best way. There's literally something for everyone from spring rolls to pho to banh mi. My friend and I each got our own DIY spring roll set and I got a cup of beef pho broth with an order of rice noodles to make a mini bowl of pho for myself on the side. The spring roll set comes with 4 sheets of rice paper, fresh veggies (lettuce, basil, cucumber, pickled carrots), rice noodles, your choice of protein (we chose pork sausage), and dipping sauce. The pho broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The spring rolls came out amazing and were so filling. My only suggestion would be to have the carrots shredded instead of sliced to get a more even distribution within the spring rolls. But overall it was a fantastic meal. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and welcoming, with a comfortable layout that works just as well for a quick lunch as it does for a relaxed sit-down meal. Service is consistently friendly and efficient, and the food comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavor every time. My usual orders rotate between two favorites. The #74 Cơm Bì Sườn Chả is a must. Perfectly grilled pork chop with great char, paired with shredded pork skin and Vietnamese meatloaf, served with rice that soaks up all the flavors. It's hearty, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. When I'm craving soup, I always go for the #40 Phở Tân Tân Đặc Biệt (Phở Special). The broth is rich and comforting, loaded with beef meatballs, eye-round steak, brisket, flank, fatty brisket, soft tendon, and tripe. It's one of those bowls that hits every note and keeps me coming back. A nice bonus is their house sauces. They're so good that they actually sell them, and you can even find them at local grocery markets nearby, which says a lot about how popular they are. If you're looking for consistently great Vietnamese food in Beaverton with solid service and a clean, modern atmosphere, Tan Tan Cafe & Delicatessen is an easy recommendation.

Got the Sua Da with and I was very pleased and surprised that it was probably one of my best ones. The coffee was not the bitter, smoky kind. This one was full, bold and had a nice smooth taste. I wanted to get another one to head home with but I have to wait for my next trip. Apparently, If i had more than one sua da, I won't be able to sleep for two days. Pretty disappointed at this place after my daughter brought me here for the first time…read more I ordered the Peach Fruit Tea with 50% sweet, light ice and Crystal Boba. Results- - Canned (not fresh) peaches used in drink. This may have caused weird aftertaste that does not have that familiar peach flavor like other places. - Flavor is way too sweet for 50%. - Light ice was done correctly When I walked away I quickly realized that they did not add my crystal boba toppings to my drink. I just had a few slices of lemons. After walking back to let them know, the girl who prepared my drink admitted to the guy that I questioned the issue about that she forgot to add it. No apologies from the girl directly and it was passive but only from the guy whom I mentioned the issue to. They have a lot of young kids working here and it looks like they work fast but they need to read the ingredients to fulfill the order correctly and to be consistent. I may give this place another try but will be sorely disappointed if they miss the mark again. (FYI- This exact location used to be Nobibi which quickly went downhill and this new business took over.)

The place fills up nicely so that you feel like you have the privacy of being in a crowd without it feeling crowded. The food is beautiful and I really love the dishware they use here. Overall the service was satisfactory, nothing really to write home about either way. That being said I would have liked the food to be a bit more substantial for the prices. The pricing felt a bit high for what was served both in terms of substance and quantity. A final minor note is that I consider calling the Turmeric Fries "fries" a bit misleading considering that they are most definitely chips and that was more than a little disappointing when they came out.
