Hadn't been here in several years but remembered having a great experience and wasn't disappointed . The service was great , was sat quickly and they were on top of taking our order and bringing it out fast. I had the lemongrass chicken and shrimp vermicelli bowl which was delicious, fresh, and filling . My friend got the tom yum soup and he loved it and only had good things to say. We were excited to try a different pho place as it seems finding a good bowl of pho is harder to find these days. We were greeted and seated right away. Our order was also taken fairly quickly. We both just wanted pho so that's all we ordered. I ordered the pho tai and the meat came already cooked. So that was really strange. The broth was pretty bland too. My husband ordered something else but I forget. His also was bland. The portions are huge. I definitely had leftovers but it just wasn't something I'd want to come back for. I'll readily admit, I was hooked by the name. I made sure to check in on the app, I bought a few t-shirts, and found ways to "name drop" my lunch with a few friends throughout the day. I know, I know... I'm a little childish. And yes, it's a memorable and funny name. But do giggle-inspiring names bring good soup to my table? (((shrugs))) I absolutely love pho, but I keep it relatively basic as I most often order Pho Tai (thin cuts of round steak) with few exceptions. I like extra basil and jalapeno, and I usually forgo the beansprouts. The broth was hot and not too salty, and the noodles were were delivered with just the right amount of bite. There's nothing worse than soggy noodles in pho! However, the broth wasn't very dynamic. There was nothing that made me want to scream, "OMG, THIS IS PHO KING AMAZING!" There were too few slices of beef, and too many noodles for my liking. While I was slurping my so-so bowl of pho, my friend was oohing and ahhing over how much she loved her order of Bo Kho (Beef Stew) with egg noodles. I tasted the broth, and yes, it had a very rich and hearty flavor. But it's too robust for me... I'll save Bo Kho for a cold, winter day. All in all, we had a pleasant experience dining at Pho King Good. The servers were really attentive, and surprisingly patient with my friend's indecisiveness. Their crispy egg rolls seem to have declined in aesthetics - before they would be presented over fresh greens, but now the three (total) mini size crispy rolls are served alone on a mini plate and it looked kind of sad. The inside of the crispy roll seemed to also be undercooked. Their pho and other soups have been consistently satisfying and good tho, especially for the cold weather. If that doesn't grab your attention the food will, like the other reviews, broth is full of flavor, I had the chicken Pho, "Pho ga" and definitely a big enough portion to feed 2, chicken broth rice noodles, basil, onions ,sprouts and lime mixed well enough on top of that flavorful broth! Service/staff was quick, got seated almost right away , and the food was delivered quickly. Was definitely satisfied. Don't go solely off a review though, go in and find out for yourself! The food was ok. Being fat shamed by an employee was not. When he brought out our food, he made repeated laughing commentary that all the food must be only for me. Each dish was put in front of me while he laughed "more food just for you" instead of handing it to the family member who reached for it. I wish I had not remained quietly dignified in the moment. I should have been loud, rude, and humiliating in return, but I was having a lovely family day. The sad thing is that this old man is likely an owner or relative to the owner. We were greeted & seated extremely quickly & our server took our orders, then served us quickly. The chicken was amazing, super crispy & a good amount of meat, definitely not cheap quality wings. The pork rolls were honestly bland, the sauce it comes with didn't help. We ended up taking the remaining 2 pieces to go but tossed them when we got home. I got mixed noodles as I never had pho & wasn't sure which noodle to get. The egg noodles were not good & the texture is like undercooked instant noodles, but the rice noodles were sooo good. And the meat that came on it... Now I understand the name of the joint. I just wish the servers were more attentive through the entire meal, not just until our food was served. We needed refills on our waters & sodas but no one ever came to check on us, then waited another 10-15 minutes after we were done eating for the bill. What a name haha! It was such a cold and rainy night so we were craving pho and this restaurant lives up to its name. I got the #9 which was brisket pho and my bf got #2 which has round steak, flank, and tendon. We also got soda lemonade and it was a nice touch of sweet and sour. I love that there are many choices of what you want in your pho. Our food was so good and it satisfied our cravings. The staff are so nice especially this one lady who was giving us our drinks. The check out was kinda confusing. You go up to the register after eating and tell the cashier where you were seated. I wish I had a receipt that shows what I got so that I know that I know what Im paying for. I just pointed to the table we were on and the cashier had to think what to put into the computer. Is this the best pho ever? No... but it's still Pho King Good. Pho King Good is my to-go pho spot and that's saying a lot because I eat pho on a weekly basis. I don't know if it's because it's super close to my house or the super fast service, but I always gravitate to this place when I'm craving pho. Super large seating area that has booths, long tables and other smaller seating to accommodate any party size. Their service has always been top notch - they sometimes bring out my pho within 10 minutes of ordering! My favorite thing about this place is their menu selection. I always get my #4 (round steak and meatballs) pho, but I always glance at their menu selections and I'm always in awe. They have wide varieties of appetizers, pho, rice bowls, plates, other noodles and more. It's a great place to bring anyone even if they don't eat pho but want something else. Tip - Definitely add a fried donut ($2) to any meal and it'll be the cherry on top. read more

What can I say?! The name is hilarious and it's a clean and very presentable place out in beaverton. The staff are friendly and patient. They all speak Vietnamese so it gives that authentic vibe you should be looking for. The venue is modern and well lit in a strip mall with plenty of parking. We came during lunch and it was packed so that was another great sign. We ordered the pho with brisket and round steak, the vermicelli with grilled chicken and crispy rolls aka egg rolls, Thai tea, and jackfruit smoothie. All were delicious and promptly brought out. The smoothie was powder based so not fresh fruit. The pho was typical with no profound flavors. It was not overly salted or sweetened which tends to be the biggest issue. Their was plenty of meat to noodle ratio. Meats were very tender! Portion could be slightly bigger but it did its job to cure the hunger. The vermicelli was similar in portion and ratio. The flavors were good and the veggies were very fresh. The crispy rolls in them were delicious though, I definitely enjoyed that they were actually crispy. Their fish sauce was a good balance between fish and sweetness. It made it tolerable for newbies and veterans of the sauce. Entrees ranged from $8-10, very reasonable. Apps were $5-7.
