I've had bahn mi's all over the place. SoCal has always taken the lead. Some of the best I've ever had has been in Anaheim/garden drover area. But man! The star of the show here was the bread it self. Soft but not too soft, fresh tasting and the pork was so flavorful and all the pickled veggies were just right. Good size for buck too. Got here on a late afternoon. It was empty since it was after the lunch hour. Inside is not very big, may not be ideal for any big parties. Ordered a #1 and the sandwich came out pretty quick. We had a large group for 13 last minute this place accommodated us. They did a good job but it's really not built for large groups more of a take it to go place. Only had one kid seat and we had multiple littles. Their food was decent and for the price these days it was reasonable. Tho I miss the $4 bahn mi days We had pretty much everything on the menu between the whole group. The Bo Ne was the most overrated. The xiu Mai or Vietnamese meatballs with the baguette was our favorite. Would go back but probably only take out or just a small group. read more

Grand opening sign hanging out front. Walked in and looked over the menu, took a few minutes for anyone to realize they had a customer. Wi-fI issues ment only cash, lucky I had a twenty. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and it was obvious they are still in training. Picked up two sandwiches pork lemongrass sounded like a fine start. Sandwiches were nicely filled with a balance of veg and meat, bread and meat were both warmed in small ovens. Size of these tiny ovens makes me question if this place becomes popular how long will it take, I was the only customer to start out, three more arrived after. All in all it took about ten minutes to order and collect the sandwiches. Inside is clean and bright. Parking is in a tight lot shared with a Mexican dive through, cannabis dispensary and some other businesses. Wish them well on the new venture. read more

The missus and I came here a month ago. I wanted to try the bo ne and i was surprised my wife didn't know what that was (she's Vietnamese) because she is usually who confirms authenticity for me. We ordered the banh mi dac biet, nem nuong cuon and bo ne. I thought everything was more or less reasonably priced. The cheapskate in me thought the bo ne was on the higher end, but considering I paid the same for a sizzling plate of fat (sisig at an eatery no longer in Beaverton), this was a bargain. I'm filipino, btw... Anyway, the food is all good from what we experienced. I found the young man who took our order friendly enough. My wife found it charming, that the woman coming out of the kitchen was giving him pointers on how to interact with customers. Was she his mom? That's what my wife thought. I was too busy eating to notice. I knocked 1 star because all the tables needed a good wipe down. We showed up, not long after they opened and there was no one else in there. read more

Decent spot for a quick bite but unfortunately it's never quick at this place. Even ordering premade pastry and drink took 20 mins to get my order. I don't think they follow the standard etiquette of first come first serve. When I arrived, there were no customers in the establishment. After placing my order, another customer came in. Clearly my order was placed first but the staff started working on the other customer's drink, all while mine was still not started. As for the pastry, they just needed to toast it. I don't think they have a clue on how to run a deli. Customers want to go in and out; grab and go. I will give this place one more try and if they don't turn it around, my next review will be 1 star. read more

Our usual spot is currently closed for renovations . we decided to go here just around the corner on cedar hills. The place is new and very clean. We were greeted by a delicious aroma and smiles . We had the lemongrass grilled pork with mango tea. I wanted extra pork because I usually have to order it that way at our old spot, but the very nice woman behind the counter assured me that they put plenty pork in the sandwich. She was spot on ,there was lots of pork in every single bite. The first bite to the last was absolutely delicious, the bread was fresh and warm with a crispy bite and very soft inside. The pork just delicious tasty and very juicy. We washed it down with our cold mango iced tea with chunks of mango, not too sweet but perfect with out food. Very clean and friendly staff, seating arrangements could improve though if you have a large family of 5+ the staff will accommodate and help with pushing tables and they spray down quickly whenever someone's done to help ensure there's enough seating. Pricing for banh mi is competitive however still can't beat Best Baguette that's right around the corner! Bread is very crunchy and fresh and the flavor is onolicious for the lemon grass grilled pork, it was so juicy that it was shiny! Definitely could add more portions of meat and veggies. Also tried their pateso and egg rolls, could add more filings as it's a bit too much dough with each bite. Would come again if craving for Lemongrass grilled pork banh mi. also tried their pork belly banh mi, a bit misleading as we were expecting thick slice of pork belly, it was more of thin slice pork belly that you get at kbbq. The restaurant is modern with a calm presence and quiet music playing in the background and was very clean. I did notice the employees wearing gloves with everything they made. 10/10. No thank you. I went here during lunch hour and it was empty. I was ignored while 2 employees worked right in front of me. I had to interrupt and ask if they were taking orders. It was the coldest transaction, so I decided to just order shrimp salad rolls. The lady working the register (whom I assume is the owner) took my payment without a word, and then sat down at a table before me and ate her own lunch. It was the weirdest transaction. It took more than 10 minutes after that to put together 2 salad rolls. The sauce wasn't thick and good quality peanut sauce, it was thinned out and loaded with sugar, I could even taste the sugar crystals. Won't be going back, service was horrible, and they didn't want the business. Then the food was cheap quality. I'm telling you it was so tacky to have the owner not say one word to me, take my order and payment, then sit down and eat her lunch while I was waiting for mine.
