I wanted to try this place out as it is a newer addition to the westside. I tried their special - Bo Ne - sizzling beef with egg and a baguette. The bread was goodand the beef was decent. It could've been better if there was a little mayo or pate to go with it. I also tried their banh mi dac biet, which was good as well.

Ordered: -#7 bahn mi lemongrass chicken -Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk -Mango smoothie Pro: -Bright and clean interior -Friendly staff -Not too sweet smoothie -Chicken was tender and flavorful. Appreciated the amount of greens! Con: -Mango smoothie tastes more like milk/ice -Wish there were jalapenos or an option to add this to the bahn mi

The missus and I came here a month ago. I wanted to try the bo ne and i was surprised my wife didn't know what that was (she's Vietnamese) because she is usually who confirms authenticity for me. We ordered the banh mi dac biet, nem nuong cuon and bo ne. I thought everything was more or less reasonably priced. The cheapskate in me thought the bo ne was on the higher end, but considering I paid the same for a sizzling plate of fat (sisig at an eatery no longer in Beaverton), this was a bargain. I'm filipino, btw... Anyway, the food is all good from what we experienced. I found the young man who took our order friendly enough. My wife found it charming, that the woman coming out of the kitchen was giving him pointers on how to interact with customers. Was she his mom? That's what my wife thought. I was too busy eating to notice. I knocked 1 star because all the tables needed a good wipe down. We showed up, not long after they opened and there was no one else in there.

Our usual spot is currently closed for renovations . we decided to go here just around the corner on cedar hills. The place is new and very clean. We were greeted by a delicious aroma and smiles . We had the lemongrass grilled pork with mango tea. I wanted extra pork because I usually have to order it that way at our old spot, but the very nice woman behind the counter assured me that they put plenty pork in the sandwich. She was spot on ,there was lots of pork in every single bite. The first bite to the last was absolutely delicious, the bread was fresh and warm with a crispy bite and very soft inside. The pork just delicious tasty and very juicy. We washed it down with our cold mango iced tea with chunks of mango, not too sweet but perfect with out food. I do believe we have found our new spot for amazing bahn mi. Thanks for your time and have fun eating out.

Very clean and friendly staff, seating arrangements could improve though if you have a large family of 5+ the staff will accommodate and help with pushing tables and they spray down quickly whenever someone's done to help ensure there's enough seating. Pricing for banh mi is competitive however still can't beat Best Baguette that's right around the corner! Bread is very crunchy and fresh and the flavor is onolicious for the lemon grass grilled pork, it was so juicy that it was shiny! Definitely could add more portions of meat and veggies. Also tried their pateso and egg rolls, could add more filings as it's a bit too much dough with each bite. Would come again if craving for Lemongrass grilled pork banh mi. also tried their pork belly banh mi, a bit misleading as we were expecting thick slice of pork belly, it was more of thin slice pork belly that you get at kbbq. Flavor again was really on point of savory and not too salty.

Banh mi

Great service, kind and straight to the point. Food was fresh and the bread was so warm, soft and toasty. The restaurant is modern with a calm presence and quiet music playing in the background and was very clean. I did notice the employees wearing gloves with everything they made. 10/10. I got BBQ pork banh mi, chicken lemon grass banh mi, avocado smoothie and a Vietnamese iced coffee.

I don't give TikTok credit for much, but I will credit it with pointing my wife, and myself by…read moreextension, to not only this incredible little deli, but the whole complex that contains it, filled with an antique mall and a handful of cute, quirky shops. For this review, though, we'll stick to the meat (& bread, cheese, veggies and condiments) of the matter. In short: yes. Very much yes! My wife ordered the Aunt Tillie's Club, which she saw online and was the impetus for our visit, whereas I waffled between the tuna melt and the Aunt Tillie's Special (basically a grinder), eventually settling on the latter. Both of us were in heaven: sizeable portions, fresh bread, just enough condiments, and plenty of toppings to go around! My wife thought she was going to have to take a least half of it home, then changed her mind and powered through, leaving nothing behind! We dined just outside the restaurant proper, on one of the patio tables in the "mall", but there is plenty of seating inside (just not enough to accommodate the rush, it seems), plus a quaint little pub at the back that is easy to miss, but adds another layer to an already charming sandwich shop. We were both so impressed by the entire experience, that we are guaranteed to return, likely sooner than later! Very recommended!

You can build your own sandwich or get the specialty/classic ones. They have indoor seating options. The service was quick and the price was quite reasonable as well. I tried the Tillie's tickler and I'll back to try other options too.

Came on a Friday night with a friend because I saw that they had DIY spring rolls. I was visiting…read morefrom LA and we have a few places that offer that but I absolutely love making my own spring rolls. Their parking lot is pretty small and holds about 5-7 cars. We got lucky and pulled into the last open spot. There were a good amount of people inside but we were seated right away. They have a little shop area in the front that was super cute too. Their menu is pretty large but in the best way. There's literally something for everyone from spring rolls to pho to banh mi. My friend and I each got our own DIY spring roll set and I got a cup of beef pho broth with an order of rice noodles to make a mini bowl of pho for myself on the side. The spring roll set comes with 4 sheets of rice paper, fresh veggies (lettuce, basil, cucumber, pickled carrots), rice noodles, your choice of protein (we chose pork sausage), and dipping sauce. The pho broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The spring rolls came out amazing and were so filling. My only suggestion would be to have the carrots shredded instead of sliced to get a more even distribution within the spring rolls. But overall it was a fantastic meal. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Let me start by saying I didn't take pictures. For anyone who reads my reviews, that's a big part…read moreof them: ALL THE PICTURES. Presentation, portions, half eaten, etc... but I didn't. Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

Locals mentioned this spot when I asked about good sandwiches! They were not lying!…read more A small spot with pizza, subs, and salads. I can only speak to the sandwiches. I started with the Spicy Geraldi, which is normally cold - but you can get it hot - highly recommended! It was toasty and amazing! Packed full of meat - the half would have been enough for me - but the whole left some for later! I will be back to try more. Prices are moderate.
