Found this place on TikTok, we decided to stop by because they have a big bucket of self serve chili oil. We were greeted and served immediately, employees were very nice and welcoming. Inside was very clean and spacious, they also have single use restrooms. We ordered 5 bowls of pho, totaling to $99.19 after tip. The food was really good but the chili oil wasn't spicy as we were expecting. But the broth and meat were really good compared to the not so great places we tried in the area. Not sure if I would come back again, there wasn't anything wrong with the place but there wasn't a wow factor that would compel me to come back. The first time I tried to go here was back in 2022, I believe during their remodel, so bummed I didn't go when it reopened. I came in with my family, my husband and 2 toddlers. When we came in it was cold outside but the restaurant smelled like freshly mopped floors, seemed like some ventilation was needed to clear that scent but it was not so consuming where it impacted the meal. When we got seated, we got water right away and we just took a menu off a different table and sat down. There was a sweet old lady who brought us water right away. And a man returned shortly to get our ordere, we weren't ready. But I got P9, my husband got pho as well but I forget what one. We also go the egg rolls. On a recent trip to Portland, we stopped in for some rainy day comfort food. They have an extensive menu but we were after the pho. There's one pho vegetarian option, P21, which features the typical rice noodles, with soft tofu, broccoli, carrots, cabbage and the typical plate of Thai basil, bean sprouts and raw jalapeños. It comes in a fairly large bowl at $17.25, or a smaller bowl for $16.25. The price is the same for their multiple other pho offerings that include beef or chicken. My friend enjoyed the P20, called chicken noodle. The broth was flavorful and the veggies crisp and fresh, though I would have preferred more vegetables and less tofu, which was cut into large, bland chunks. My friend said the chicken noodle pho was tasty. The staff was friendly and efficient, and our soup was served quickly. The dining room has a clean, quiet ambiance, and the restrooms are clean. Parking is available in their strip center lot, so you can get in and out quickly. They also package food for pickup. If I come here again, I'll likely try one of their specialty seafood noodle soups, which look heartier and are similarly priced at $19.00. Seemed a bit steep to pay $35 plus tip for two bowls of pho with just water to drink. I'd rate them 3-1/2 stars based on this first visit. read more

I made a take out order and tried their Egg Rolls and Spring rolls (pork and Shrimp). I added the Charbroiled Lemongrass Chicken with Egg roll and rice. All were very good. This is our new favorite place to have Pho! It's a bit of a drive from Hillsboro but it's so worth it! Besides the clean and flavorful broth, the portions are very generous with their meat and noodles. We also had the fried egg rolls, which were tasty. However, I do not recommend the salted lemonade which was way too sweet that I could not drink it. Amazing Pho. I had the #21 (Tofu + Broccoli). I normally eat meat, but wanted a vegi option. And the egg rolls were very good, crunchy on the outside with a delicious filling and dipping sauce. As for customer service, pretty much a zero. So don't expect anything. I walked in and first saw the busser, all he did was point to a table, no smile nothing. Not the worst thing. If we wanted a refill on our water we had to get up and walk to the server. The really annoying thing was hearing the thump thump of the sub woofer from the gym next door. The large Pho is so filling that I roll out of here. Today I tried the small Pho which is $14.25 a buck less than the large. If you want to have the salad or spring rolls, I recommend the small bowl of Pho. The small bowl of Pho is still brimming with goodness that the meat rises above the broth surface like an island Then there's the bean sprouts basil jalapeños and lime. Came to Pho Nguyen because we were in the area and looking for a place for lunch on a cold, rainy day I am quite picky when it comes to pho, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to order pho and potentially become disappointed. Our orders were taken in the first 10 minutes. While we were eating, our waters were always filled as well. The pho here comes with a generous amount of bean sprouts, mint, basil, jalapeño on a side plate. I personally love bean sprouts, so this was a huge plus for me! Now onto the pho... I personally loved that the broth here isn't overly salty. You can truly taste the broth and appreciate the broth. I also really liked the noodle texture here, and they give you generous amounts. I've ordered pho to go from here before and had a decent experience, so today I was in the area so I ordered the meatball pho to go. Unfortunately it was not what I remembered. The meatballs were cold and the texture was really weird (they were cooked but were thick and difficult to bite into). The broth was pretty much cold despite me eating within 10 minutes of picking up my order. There was a weird oil residue on the inside of the lid that was solidified, like it had been sitting around for a while. The noodles were extremely chewy and were hard to eat. It almost feels like I was supposed to cook all the ingredients myself, but if that's the case then why am I ordering takeout from a restaurant, I could just buy the ingredients myself at the store?? Probably the best pho in the Beaverton area if I didn't want to drive into Portland for some. Service was very fast too, didn't have to wait long for my food. The reason I am knocking down a couple of stars is for the covid safety of this place. No masks in the kitchen with food prepping. One of the workers was cutting apples and eating it while working. This is my go-to Vietnamese restaurant in the area! They just redecorated the interior and it looks a lot more modern now. Service is always quick. My usual order is a large P-12, the pho with round steak and well-done brisket. They give you plenty of meat that is definitely worth the price. I'm a Phonatic and lover of soups, and when I need to feel better, I come to this unassuming restaurant, in a very small strip mall, in SW Portland. It really lives up to what we all love to experience in bowl of pho. As you walk through their doors the smell of spice feels like a warm hug and that's what I feel too when I eat their pho. The broth they deliver with each bowl is ridden with flavor, the portions here are generous, and the sauces and condiments they have available can truly be used as an afterthought instead of a necessary condiment. Driving through this little strip mall and noticed that this Vietnamese restaurant was quite full. I decided to check it out and found many delightful items on their menu. One of the best pho places in town. Good sized portions, quick friendly service, and tasty but not oily broth. The entrees/bowls tend to range from $11.25-$12.50. The grilled pork on the vermicelli bowl is so tasty! It's cut into a generous heap of thin tender strips. I got B3 with grilled pork and egg rolls - I'm gona skip the egg rolls next time. My husband usually orders the pho special with everything. The meat is plentiful, and the broth doesn't need any additional seasoning for me...he adds hoisin and sriracha. Tip: I'd recommend taking a small plastic dipping sauce dish up to the counter and getting a scoop of the hot chili oil out of the large clear circular container.
