It's been awhile since I've been here but I came here today with my kids to get some food for lunch. I ordered the personal pizza with 4 toppings with a side salad and a drink. Total came to $15 and some change. The food was decent but nothing special but I won't be coming here again for a different reason. The reason being is because apparently from what I was told by an employee is that your not allowed to pour your own pink lemonade that you purchased legitimately into the water that your kids have. When the employee brought our salad to our table he said the kids cups were for water only. I told him it was water in the cups and that I had poured some of my own lemonade into their cups. Note : My kids rarely ever drink soda and if they do have something it's usually lemonade. I dilute it pretty thin to minimize the sugar intake but for an employee to make a point about this I found it very unprofessional and unnecessary. I'm leaving 2 stars for pizza and and although they do have Indiana Jones pinball it was out of order at the moment. . Note: Last time I came here was with about 8 people and we sat at the tables in back. I ordered 6 large pizzas and drinks and it was a good experience overall, pizza was generous with toppings and we watched football on the big screens in back. Make sure to check your total no matter how you order with this place. Phoned in an order for two pizzas and gave a coupon code over the phone and was given my discounted price. Went in to pick up my order and was total I was given was the full price. Before I could have to the cashier double check, they rang it up and gave me back my change. Asked for my receipt and told them this price wasn't correct and the pizza I ordered that was supposed to be $10 off was full price. Now comes trying to get the manager to come out and takes them awhile. I know it isn't as simple as just taking $10 out of the till and let me walk away but when the manager does the discount, they only give me back $5. At this point I am over it and want to get on with my night. The kicker is the original cashier then short changes me $3. So my discount only comes out to $2 off their over priced large pizza. On Monday, 2/23/2026, 12:55 p.m., we ordered a large pizza with mushrooms and olives. The pizza was over-baked/well done. In addition to that, about an hour later I found myself craving water because, obviously, the sauce had high sodium. The thirst craving lasted many hours. This has happened to me with other pizzas, such as at Costco Food Court. I am pretty much done eating out because of these high-sodium meals, except for places like Rubios and Panera Bread. First, I have to say that I love Round Table Pizza in general. It's still good quality pizza. It costs a bit more, but it's usually worth it. However, this location has recently become very unreliable and problematic for delivery. The pizza used to arrive hot, very hot, and the orders used to be correct. However, the past 2 of 3 orders have been completely messed up. First, I received 7 out of 12 Buffalo Wings on a recent order. I'm not sure how that happens, but it does. More recently, I ordered pizza and wings and then received a text message notice that my order was canceled. I called the location and was told the order was not canceled. I continued to wait 30 minutes after the pizza was supposed to show, but did not receive any pizza. I then ordered pizza from another place, got the pizza, ate it, and after even more time, the Round Table order showed up on my porch in the dark, no knock, no nothing. That was a solid 2.5 hours after I ordered the pizza. I then contacted the management and they refused to refund even a partial amount of my money and said that I should have refused the pizza on delivery...of course, this was impossible as the delivery person ran up to my door, dropped the pizza and literally took off before I got to the door. The pizza was not even warm and went uneaten as we had already received and eaten pizza from somewhere else. I have spent so much money at this location over the years and this is the treatment I get? I'm really disappointed to say the least. As a result, I just have to warn you that if you order delivery from this location YMMV and be prepared to have a back up plan. I'm really considering not ordering from here again, even though I have had good experiences in the past. I would not have posted this if the location would had just taken care of this issue like any other restaurant would have done. read more

AMBIANCE I can't say much about the atmosphere since I ordered to go, but the interior is dated, not that my inner children would care when there are arcade games as distractions. Tonight, I ended up ordering take-out from the La Mesa location by accident, not realizing it was a little further from our Airbnb. But I was impressed by the customer service and the order itself, so I decided to leave a review. It was moderately busy, and the employees were all working on different tasks. Once placing my order, the cashier (I don't know her name) was very kind and doing multiple tasks. One of the gentlemen in the kitchen was on point about checking in with me after placing my order when I came back to pick up my order (15-20 minutes after placing it). We ordered a family size Caesar salad, a family size house salad, and a Montague meat lovers pizza. The pizza was not skimping on toppings, and the house salad was filled to the brim with fixins. Classic RTP flavor and they always get our build your own pizza order right... 1/2 pep 1/2 Canadian bacon with mushrooms on the whole thing and fresh tomatoes on the side. Good pizza and the kids enjoy coming here to run around and spend quarters on the few arcade games they have. They really liked collecting the stickers from the machines. It was completely empty for dine-in when we came for dinner on a Friday night, but they seemed pretty busy with takeout customers. The tables and bathroom were clean even if the interior is a bit dated, and the service is prompt. My favorite pizza is the Chicken and Garlic Gourmet because I love the white garlic sauce. Was happy to find out there are Round Tables in SoCal because it's my favorite pizza, but I was so disappointed by this one. Ordered pan crust, which is thin, and instead I got original crust that was so thick the pieces were heavy. Why is it an option on the website if they don't do it? If it were just regular crust instead of thin that would be fine, but it was like deep dish or something. The worst part is that it legitimately wasn't cooked? I have to put the pieces in the oven. I ordered this for carryout on a weekday afternoon. It couldn't have been that busy. The website said it would be 20 minutes, which was surprising. I would rather wait longer and have decent food than have them rush through making it and give me something gross that I didn't order, especially with the cost.
