Great sales experience relatively painless and rather quick. That being said, be very cautious of taking delivery and I would highly recommend you do not take possession from Giant RV until everything is 100% fixed. I literally mean 100% any promises made by the sales staff will absolutely not be met or maintained by the service staff. I have bought other RVs at Mike Thompson's RV and the service experience there is vastly different and improved. My future purchases will be from them for sure.We are now in our 11th month since purchase and I was assured they ordered the replacement parts before we ever picked it up. Needless to say they have only some. I went to visit them two separate times prior to our 30 day wait just to get Service to verify they had all the parts and they said they had them and whatever they did not have they would take from another RV to make mine right. Anyone that has ever bought an RV knows there are difficulties to be faced and fixed but this is by far the most excessive I have ever experienced post purchase. Im putting up a review now even though our work with the service dept isn't completed. We brought our 2018 trailer in for Warranty service after a month wait for the drop off appt. Still waiting now couple months in. My big gripe at this point is the complete lack of communication. We have to call and call and call leaving message after message. I received one call back thus far. I have to say at this point it is a very non-customer friendly approach to keeping customers up to date. They gave me an appointment about 3 weeks ago for 2pm today. We showed up and and the guy at the desk told us it was closed and there's no way anyone gave us an appointment. He didn't try to check the system or anything, was just very rude and seemed annoyed. We came from far to make this appointment and for them to just be rude and nonchalant about not informing us that the appointment was canceled or anything, ahead of time, was very unprofessional and beyond infuriating. Went into Giant RV Downey Ca and i was a buyer. I asked the salesman to show me some supper C rigs and he did but knew nothing about them at all. I asked to see a pusher and was told he cant show me them and i had to have an appointment with a certified diesel rv salesman so i couldn't see any diesel pushers at that time... Purchased a new motor home from Giant RV in murrieta. Had to bring it on for some minor repairs. The place is packed like a sardine can. The service is completely lackadaisical. I had to call a locksmith because the door jammed on a trip and I couldn't open it. Giant RV said they'd reimburse me. After 4 months of collecting dust I pulled the RV and sent it to another dealer for repairs. Giant RV now is giving me a hassle and didn't reimburse for the locksmith. The whole place is a mess and lots of great excuses as to why work can't get completed. Poor communication and zero organization. The sales side of GIANT RV is professional. We purchased our ToyHauler (Stealth 2916) from Giant RV at the Murrieta location. The sales process was easy and the Sales team was good...our coach delivery walk through had several items in the punch list that Service would address. That was our first experience with Service...we had several/many other items in the first year that needed attention- Working with the Service department is a painful task and one that we dread. Scheduling with them is always 6-8 weeks out and their communication is poor. Being that the Service department operates independently from the Sales team, they have a different perspective on customer retention and return buyer...almost seems as they don't care. We purchased an extended warranty for our coach and it seems like the Service department will not go out of their way to make sure these extended warranties are held accountable. Beware...when you authorize the repairs they hold you accountable for the repair charges and will bot fight for you. On several occasions I had to follow up directly to get them to cover items. Not the way it is supposed to be- I will not recommend this shop and will not purchase another coach from Giant RV. I will be looking for another shop that values building relationships. read more

This is the 4th time I have required service on my Thor 28Z, and other service centers have been a nightmare! I called this Giant dealership and scheduled an appointment then called back a week later to change it to another date. The woman who schedules appointments is very nice, organized and accommodating and I truly appreciated her understanding. When I drove my RV into the service area I was a bit hesitant, because there are RV's everywhere! But, after I met with William, I knew I was in good hands. He was extremely friendly, helpful and organized. I had a number of technical questions and he knew more about my RV than the salespeople who sold it to me! William is the best! Kudos and many thanks to Ray Ybarra and the team at Giant rv repair. We have been having generator issues with our Coachman and needed a new generator installed as we were going out of town in less than a week. He was sympathetic to our needs and was able to source a new generator and get it installed for us so that we would be able to make it in time to visit my mom for Thanksgiving. We brought our RV in for service in preparation of a trip across the country. We explained that we wanted everything checked out. The generator had been working intermittently. . (Of curse it fired right up when we were there so they said everything was working correctly) They did an oil change for the generator. We thought all was good until the generator stopped working 24 hours before we were supposed to leave. In a panic, I called our service rep, Will, who completely blew us off. I explained that we leaving the next day. He refused to do anything and insinsuated that it was my fault because all he dd was an oil change. He told me that it was a heat sensor. I called the Montclair location and talked to Rich, who told me to come down right away. The fuel pump was out and the solenoid nut was cross threaded. (My gen doesn't have a heat sensor.) They didn't have the part but found another place that did. The mechanic drove to get the part and fixed it. Its obvious that Wildomar didnt even look at the gen. Customer service is atrocious. Diagnosis is incompetent. Make the drive and go to Montclair. You won't regret it. read more

Second visit for service and I have been very pleased. Ray is honest and communicates everything. I wish I could say the same for the dealer in Murrieta. These guys are just dishonest salespeople that will say anything to close a deal and then never want to speak to you again. Even put you at risk with faulty equipment without full disclosure, which on a new vehicle is not only dishonest but illegal not to mention dangerous. Now I know why I couldn't bring my RV on the morning of service because that would not give them the opportunity to steal a lot of my supplies. I can prove where my vehicle been but I didn't think to take inventory of my storage Now it's my word against theirs. Well when we meet our maker I know I am not lying. Maybe pay them more and your employees would not have to STEAL. I wish I knew sooner because if they had cameras on the lot it would prove my point. I would NEVER EVER get service there for my 21 Winnebago View. Go anywhere but GIANT RV. Employees all look so unhappy. The service here is the worst I have ever seen. Took my truck camper to get worked on March 4. I know, not a $300,000 rig, but the rear happijac jacks stopped responding to remote. They had it until 3/25, with the only responses when I either emailed or called my service guy Ray. I was told it was in bay for 2 weeks but they could not work on it due to other rv's. Just tell them, I'm picking it up. Show up and find my front Jack's are now being held up by wires. No one said a word about this until I found it as I was driving away!! Told Ray to have John, the service manager call. Had to call twice again that day and was told he was on other line and would call back. Never did, so following day called Mike, the boss of John, down in Montclair. Now john calls back said those front Jack's just broke as they attempted the use remote. As he said, you can never tell when something will fail. Although if you read the owners manual, it says do not intend jack past point when foot touches casing or it will cause internal pin to break causing this exact issue. Told this to John and he said that didnt happen, the guy was a master RV tech and would never do that. So both front jack failing at the exact same time is more likely than tech running Jack's too far up in casing?? So John says nope we wont cover it. Oh and forgot, when I got home, now the remote wont work for either jacks or now slide-out, which was not a problem before. So summary, went in for rear jacks not responding to remote. 4 weeks later got back camper with broken front Jack's being held up by wire, a slide out that doesn't work and rear jacks still dont work. John the service manager said none of that will they fix because they did nothing beside park it. And since that conversation, mike the boss of John will not return my call either. From not calling with updates, to refusing to fix something they broke, to management not returning calls, this whole business is about as unprofessional and shady as they come. I'm retiring in a few years and starting to search for one if those big ass rings, I know where I will never step foot in again. Had a critical broken component on my fifth wheel suspension, I called in and they had the replacements but they were booked out a few months for repair work. Time was obviously a factor with an upcoming trip and I was feeling unsafe to tow my trailer any further. I was directed to Ray who was able to get my suspension components replaced quickly and for a fair price. The whole staff was friendly and attentive from the first foot in the door. This place and the repair manager "William "are the worst. I went to them hopeing to find professional and got just the opposite. I'm moved now so it's not possible to return for ANOTHER re-repair!! I had some solar panels and a go power 3000 inverter put in to charge 2 batteries.....thats the advise I got... the wiring was so poorly done the system won't even work now....less then a year later. I hired 2 electricians to fix what they couldn't even install....no problems since. Giant RV repair Suck...Don't Go!! You "will" regret it. Will....wont.. get it fixed!!!! read more

I cannot begin to tell you how pleased I am that I took my RV to Giant RV in Wildomar. I needed extensive body work done, and when I called two other local shops they weren't even nice on the phone; one said they wouldn't even help me, the other said maybe by the end of the summer. Ray at Giant RV said no problem, we can get you in and we will get your work done as soon as we can. To be honest the work would have been done weeks before, but they had to wait for a coach specific part to be manufactured by Winnebago. Ray kept me updated all through the process and the waiting for Winnebago, and I have to tell you when I went to pick up my coach today, it looked like a brand new rig. They also did some regular maintenance on it for me, and their prices were very good compared to when I've had that type of work done in the past. My coach has full body paint so it wasn't going to be an easy job, but today it looks like it just came off the factory line at Winnebago. I guess you can see that I highly recommend Giant RV in Wildomar! read more

Worst service I have ever had! Not only did it take three months to do a propane service on the refrigerator and put a wire nut on the failed lighting. Ray at the service desk was completely unprofessional. I have been trying to contact him by phone for over three months and all he does is text back "your unit will be service soon" he also lied to me about pricing and extra cost that should have been in the proposed price. Not only did I buy the extended warranty from giant RV none of the simple items were covered I had to come out of the pocket about $700. I would suggest you never deal with Ray for how unprofessional he is also I would go buy from Richardsons RV they are way more professional and just up the street. Also when I picked up my RV the battery boxes were completely submerged with water I asked them if they could vacuum them out or suck the water out and they said mother nature isn't our problem. Only reason I had to bring my trailer back was because the parts they "ordered" in June came in November . After they never ordered them to start and I had to contact the manufacturer to get my trailer fixed the first time. They use "COVID" as an excuse for their shitty service. Will said the moldings would be a quick fix he's a liar. Took it in on 12/22 it's 1/6 and they haven't even started to fix 2 moldings.
