Our visit was a bit of a mixed bag. Service wasn't particularly friendly, and there seemed to be a bit of a language barrier, which can be frustrating for all parties involved. My husband ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, and didn't eat most of it. The chicken was thigh meat that wasn't trimmed or cut well at all. There were large pieces with fat and connective tissue still attached, which is unappetizing and was unexpected. Chicken teriyaki is usually grilled breast meat in our experience, so this was a definite let down. The actual sauce on it was ok, but nothing to write home about. I got the sushi burrito with salmon and tuna. It was HUGE, which was awesome, but I was only able to eat half, and sushi doesn't keep well, so half went into the trash, which made me sad. The fish was well cut and portioned well and there was a good balance of veggies, rice, and meat. It did need more sauce, and there were very, very large pieces of cilantro stem in it that I had to keep picking out, which wasn't pleasant and was a little annoying. I would get it again, but I might have to ask for no cilantro, which would be a shame because I love it. Overall, I would only come back if it was just me so I could get a sushirito.
Everytime I come, I love it here. Great sized portions of ramen and delicious. The poke bowls are mainly what I get and it's wonderful, always ask for sauce on the side. customer service is great and the food always comes out in an appropriate timely manner depending on how crowded it is. They do have limited seating for when it's busy but just take it to go. I love this place!
I just bought ramen to go and paid for an additional green onion and additional egg yet got home with no extra egg in the dish. I also asked for no fish cake and the pork belly is overcooked to the point of being dry. When I tried to call, the phone seems to be disconnected so I had to drive a full twenty minutes back to get this straightened out.

The ramen broth that you should try are shoyu and miso. We like the pork chashu with our ramen. It comes with one semi hard boiled egg. It is on the pricier side at main entrees priced from $10-13. Overall, we would return to this restaurant. The ramen noodles were good and the broth was flavorful.

They put the broth in its own container, so the noodles don't get soggy. The rest of the ingredients are in their own container - easy to put together and chow down. Dine-in orders are delivered smoking hot. The portion size is fairly large. They have forks available at the front counter and chopsticks at the table. Most tables seat 2-4 people. The food is so good. We love ordering from them and highly recommend you give them a try.

With your ramen/poke options in SA being pretty slim, this place was pretty decent, and I would go back again. Food ratings: - 2-protein poke bowl (3/5): I chose 1/2 rice, 1/2 salad, spicy tuna and spicy salmon, snow crab salad, edamame, mango, onion, scallion, and seaweed salad, and for my sauces I chose ponzu, soy sauce, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. Portion size seems generous, and the fish was fresh. I wish they had a more traditional Hawaiian-style classic ahi tuna option. - Chashu pork belly ramen w/tonkatsu broth (3/5): The broth wasn't as creamy or thick as ones I've had elsewhere (it was pretty thinned/almost seemed slightly watery), and the noodles were a little over cooked for my taste, but the pork belly was tender and super flavorful, and the egg was better than ones I've had anywhere else in this city so far. Service was okay. You order at the front and then sit wherever you'd like, and they bring out your food to you. There's a variety of drinks in their coolers (a lot of yummy Asian drinks also!), and if you want boba, there's a boba shop next door. Overall, it's worth trying and definitely not a bad place to go back to visit if you're in the area and craving ramen, poke, or Asian food.

No gluten free options at all. I'm not sure if it was a cultural misunderstanding but the cashier came off rude when I asked if there were gluten free options. It's actually happened more than once. That's why I rated one star. The food must be good because my spouse and kids like to eat there from time to time. They get the Takoyaki and the gyoza. If you don't have dietary restrictions I suggest you check them out. Maybe it will be better for you.

The decor was all over the place, the walls had cracks in their paintings, it was just unsightly. Food wise: Ramen noodles seemed frozen, broth was okay but not anything special, their cashu was over cooked. Their table side hot oil was old and stale. Kimchee salad had good spice, but was a weird lettuce combination. Egg rolls were prefrozen spring rolls, not what I expected and they were store bought. Sushi burrito was good and I liked that I could build my own. Little too much rice on outside, but they filled it well with the protein. Wish we would have been given water, and that the staff talked a little louder, music made it hard to hear when ordering. Probably won't go back.
This is the first time eating Ramen on the mainland. Had it on Maui, but it was very different. I had the crispy chicken with vegetable broth and it was very tasty. The dish does not have a lot of vegetables I will definitely add on more. The wontons were very delicious. A serving is 4 of them. The service bus fast. My husband had the beef Yakisoba. It was very tasty.

First timer! I ordered a poke bowl with two proteins and was surprised how good it was! I also added some veggies on top! The cashier was friendly and our food arrived at our table within 10 minutes. I would definitely eat here again! Note: grab an order form to the left of the register to order your bowl or burrito (your left) and give it to the cashier! read more

First time trying this place. I'll be completely honest the workers are nice and helpful and place is clean. It's not super big it was a cute little place. The food unfortunately wasn't the best. I've had better ramen and better poke. Also I didn't like they don't have drinks you have to buy bottles as someone who drinks a ton of water it can get pricey. What we did like was the appetizers the gyoza and crispy chicken were good. Place was ok nothing spectacular, definitely won't go out of my way. read more

Everytime I come, I love it here. Great sized portions of ramen and delicious. The poke bowls are mainly what I get and it's wonderful, always ask for sauce on the side. customer service is great and the food always comes out in an appropriate timely manner depending on how crowded it is. The Pork Belly Ramen with Tonkoshu Broth was delicious. The pork belly was crispy and tender, the broth was rich and perfectly seasoned. The eggs and veggies were spot on. Prices were reasonable, service was great. We will be back! read more

What a find this place is! A small shop, order and pay at the counter and then food will be brought out to you. I really wanted to try the poke in addition to the ramen but it was a hot day and I knew I couldn't take the leftovers with me. Got two bowls of the pork belly chashu: one with the tonkatsu broth and one with the shoyu broth. For the bowl with the tonkatsu broth, we got extra bamboo shoots. The tonkatsu broth was creamy but not overly creamy. Shoyu was a typical salt based broth, flavorful and smooth. I liked that there was sliced wood ear as I don't see that too much in ramen bowls (I love it!). The pork belly was so flavorful, just borderline of almost too much salt but I liked it. There were decent slices of fat on top of each chashu piece. Again, very flavorful but it was too much fat for my liking. Next time I will just order the regular pork chashu. Overall, o really liked this bowl! The only downside is I wish there was another slice or two of the naruto as I personally love this. I will be back soon to try some of their poke and sushirittos and will update then! read more

My friend has been raving about the ramen here - they got the pork belly and I wish I got a bowl too. It was delicious! Instead I wanted to try the shrimp yokisoba which I don't think is their best dish. It's a low key spot but very popular, all the tables were full with lots of customers coming in and out. read more
Finally got my ramen fix and man was it worth it. The broth was amazing. Perfectly balanced. The beef was also cooked well and had a great texture! A big serving of ramen but honestly I will add more as I like more Ramen then broth sometime! My 4 year old had the Sushiritto with crab meat and grilled chicken. I know weird combo but it really worked! Will definitely be back as I love Ramen! read more

Awesome little place with excellent food and friendly service! Went with a friend who's pretty pick, and had never tried real ramen before. The gentleman that took our order and was very patient and helped her decide the best option for her which turned out to be crispy chicken with chicken soup minus the fish cake, mushrooms and egg. I opted for the seaweed salad which was ice cold and very refreshing to start with and followed it up with the build your own sushirito (yes, it is sushi in burrito form with a sheet of nori instead of a burrito). I was skeptical about it initially, but was so happy that I ordered it after my first bite. Everything was delicious and affordable with very generous portions. Definitely a do over! read more

Had a lunch date with my daughter who loves ramen. She ordered the pork belly cashu with chicken soup & I had grilled chicken ramen with Tonkatsu soup. They were DELICIOUS!!! So much flavor! You get a very good amount and my daughter finished ALL of her soup. They have your usual bottled sodas and waters but they also have specialty drinks in the fridge. My daughter selected Ramune drink in strawberry flavor. We didn't know how to open it but luckily the owner showed us. This is such an amazing place. We were surprised to only see a few people here when this place should be packed with people! You have to give it a try, don't over think it just come on by and try out the many food choices and drink options they have. You won't regret it!! read more
On our way to Cibolo and we stopped by for some ramen. Our order arrived quickly and the pork belly was absolutely delicious. I even ordered an extra side of the pork belly after I was done because it was so good. The ramen broth was excellent and so were the other ingredients. If we are in the area again, we definitely will be returning. I know this might be petty but I had to take one star off for the obnoxious door bell that would go off any time someone came in and out of the restaurant. Since it was busy it was non stop. Please change that. Other than they, great place. read more

Crab Rangoons were made fresh, my favorite! Gyoza were good. I got the shrimp and the other is pork belly. Definitely have to try the pork belly it's really good. Service was really fast I waited no more than 7 min max. The atmosphere was pretty chill love the wall art and plants. read more

The place is small but it's good for a quick bite of noodles. It's easy access right off the highway. Counter service was quick. Food came out at a reasonable time. The flavor was ok in my tofu and veg teriyaki bowl, but I did have a few bites of veggies that were cold. Which is weird because it was like, half of the broccoli spear was hot and the other half of the same spear was cold. Strange. It was like that in a couple or three bites. I've had their ramen tofu and veg w vegan broth before. I think I'll stick to that one next time because that was supper yummy. I don't think I'll be ordering the rice bowl again honestly. I'll be back though. Price was reasonable. Service was good. The place looked clean. Service was friendly. read more
It's so nice to have a good ramen place in San Antonio! There ramen really is top notch, with a good selection of broths and toppings you won't get bored, they also have an equally good poki bowl, with more sauces and toppings than their competitors this is a great place to come. Their tonkatsu pork belly ramen is pretty amazing to say the least, it's rich and savory, silky and punchy with all that bone broth reduction. The pork belly was carmelized to perfection and full of flavor not just a roasted pork loin thrown on top. Same goes for theirs ramen egg, not just a hard boiled egg but a legit marinated ramen egg, I will say mine was a little over as I tend to like a gooey center. Portions are great and you leave completely satisfied, if you want some snacks/finger foods they have a few solid options, the shrimp tempura are an awesome compliment to any ramen or poki bowl, fried to crispy perfection with a little sweet and salty dipping sauce, is there really anything better? It made my day better and it wasn't even a bad one! I the biggest downside to this place is the setting is more casual order at the counter, no alcohol or beer of any kind seems like the worst sin when you have ramen and poki this good! If these guys had an actual ramen/ sushi bar this place would be next level, I'd give them 6 stars! Also I would like some more authentic Japanese options, even if they're small maybe even seasonal rotating ones! Overall tho you can't really knock this place, they have a good product at a solid price point! read more
