Mushroom Chicken

We had lunch at Sakura today for our first visit. Awesome food! Quality and presentation was awesome! I had Triple Delight, and my wife had Mushroom Chicken, and we shared Tempura Shrimp and Vegetable Spring Rolls. Some of the best Chinese food I've had, ever! Angie was an incredible host, and awesome server! Very sweet lady! We'll definitely be back!

Dining area

quick service and food was hot, the portions are small which are perfect against the larger portions at other restaurants and it's not drenched in sauce with reasonable prices too. the place was dead when i walked in but either way it was good food

Absolutely amazing sushi rolls and food! We had the absolute best waiter and she was amazing to my girls. Thank you! coming back again

Yesterday, my husband and I needed to have lunch delivered while we work at home and wanted to have some sushi. Sakura was one that opened at 11am so we could have lunch around 12noon so we gave it a try. We ordered the Sushi & Sashimi Combo One, Rainbow roll, Seaweed salad and Edamame. The fish was very fresh for the sushi we ordered. I loved the aesthetics and taste of the sliced lemons in the combo dish. Great variety with salmon, tuna, red snapper and escolar. The one little hiccup on the tuna was the cut we had included the veiny parts. The rice on the california roll was a bit on the dry side as well. Other than that, the food was good quality. Thankfully, the edamame came with no salt as my husband has high blood pressure but had forgotten to give those instructions. It seemed that not only did Sakura have Japanese food but the menu also seemed to have some Chinese or Thai dishes as well so I'm looking forward to trying more.

We stumbled across this cute place and was quickly welcomed inside. We chose our own booth and was greeted with cups of water and menus. We started off with egg rolls and gyoza while looking over the menu. We decided on some sushi rolls and a habachi plate. The Yummy roll as well as the San Antonio roll were fresh and hit the spot. The steak and chicken plate was cooked perfectly and disappeared just as fast as it arrived. We also had the wonton and miso soup which were just soul warming. We're not typically in this neighborhood but we'll definitely be back when we are.

1st time trying this place our Pickup order!! Let's see what they got!

I was driving home from work and the wife called and asked me to pick up dinner. I have been meaning to try this new Asia place out so I figured this was the perfect time. I walked in and asked for an order Togo, I used their scan code and pulled up their menu... I got the wife Orange chicken, noodles and egg rolls And for myself, I got the mushroom chicken w/steamed rice and egg rolls. The order came to about $32. I returned to my vehicle and waited in the parking lot, my preference and not mandated due to covid. A staff working brought me out my order and I took it home. Everything was accurate and they also included an extra order of fried rice for us (yea) We both really enjoyed our meals especially the egg rolls, they were perfectly cooked and tasted great. I think we have found our new restaurant for Asia food ! If you haven't tried this place out, ya definitely need to. It may become your preferred Asian restaurant

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. We ordered the Sakura roll and the salt and pepper shrimp. Both were fantastic but the shrimp was by far our favorite. We live down the street so we not only like to support the surrounding businesses but we're also looking for our to-go places as well. The service was meh...unfortunately. I think he may have been new. The thing that I didn't like was that the two entrees came about ten minutes apart. We like to eat our food together. The server dropped off the salt and pepper shrimp and then said that the roll would take longer because the shrimp needs to be fried. I'm pretty sure the salt pepper shrimp were fried too? Anyways, it wasn't a huge deal. We did have to ask for a plate several times. The server also grabbed the shrimp dish off the table as I was grabbing a piece with my fork- that was odd. But they forgot to put jalapeño in the dish so they took it back. I'll definitely give this place another try as the food really was above average.

Wonton Soup and Shrimp Roll. Wonderful! Service is top notch. Will certainly be back.

They have a variety of food from different countries. Their lunch menu is essentially American Chinese food. But it is all well prepared.

Miyabi Asian Fusion has menu items from multiple eastern countries and blends them into a single menu, which was the draw for us to come explore. We started off with the Korean Chicken for an appetizer and it was OK. It might be unfair to compare local dishes to the stated country, as the ingredients are most likely not the same, or as fresh, but that is the rule of measure I'm using. Ordered the Red Curry Chicken and it was also good, had lots of different veggies inside, but lacked any spice. I like enough spice to make my head sweat, but before my tongue loses all feeling. It did neither. We took on the crispy Texas Roll and the Tiger Roll. Again, good, above average although it was prepared nicely. Wasabi needed a bit more punch, which would have helped. The server was kind and kept our drinks full. Inside dinning had plenty of large wooden booths for larger parties. Overall, I would say this is an above average place and probably would be more of a lunch spot than I would use for a weekend dinner.

Located in a shopping center across from the HEB on De Zavala, nearly hidden, is a restaurant waiting to treat your taste buds to a wonderful meal. The Sisig, pork belly, is so flavorful that it in itself is worth a repeat visit. Wifey added the Chicken Adobe, upgraded the white rice to garlic rice and added lumpia as a side dish. Push all 3 to the middle and let the festivities begin. The chicken is tender, sauce is tasty, and the mixture of all 3 just makes us excited about our upcoming trip. Just before you push yourself away from the table, be sure to ask if they have the Ube Crème Brûlée Cake. It's only available on the weekends and it goes fast. It's a purple mousse cake with a caramelized top. Light, so fun to eat, and it made us spoon fight to the final piece. I had thoughts of licking the plate afterwards, but I was on my best behavior. Oh my gosh, it was absolutely superb! *Chef's Kiss* We were the first people to arrive, which could have been a bummer, but it turned out to be a great experience. Our server was super patient with us since it was our first time there. She gave us some helpful tips and explained the menu items. She even answered all our questions! We started with the Famous Green Beans, the Garlicky Cold "Noods," and some chicken crispy dumplings. I'm not usually a green bean guy, but these were surprisingly good. The chicken crispy dumplings were a really cool twist on gyozas. And the cold garlicky "noods"! I could've had those all by myself and been happy. They were such a great way to start the meal. Most of the entrees are shareable family-style, so the portions are easy for two or more people. As we waited for our entree, I decided to try the Dashi Cooler for a cocktail. It was mellow, refreshing, and a bit tart, but it was a well-crafted drink. I also ordered another cocktail, but I'll tell you more about it later. Our entree of the Love Me or Hate Me Spicy Lamb Cumin arrived with a side of steamed rice. This is definitely a shareable dish. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. The veggies that came with it were seasoned and cooked just right to give them a nice crunch. As we were working this table full of food, I decided to try another cocktail from their specialty menu. I chose the Purple Moon, which is their version of a French 75 with Ube to give it a purple color. It was done really well. I'd definitely order it again on my next visit. According to their menu, happy hour is every day from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Overall, we were so impressed with our visit to Dashi that we were talking about having a birthday dinner there that's not for another few months. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu and cocktails. They're definitely a place I'll be visiting again!

I am only saying it was sent on my end, but maybe it did not go through. As for their comments regarding third party application price markup, I can fiercely vouch that I did not pay more than $4 more and that $4 did not affect my review either way (1.5 green beans, 2.5 two lo Mein, egg drop soup 8 oz. Size not available online menu) The business owners can view the picture of the receipt I included and tell me otherwise if those were not correct prices. There were no delivery fees that I accounted for in my review because I was using Uber 1 and they were nominal. In fact, there was an Uber Eats BOGO Lo Mein coupon used that I am pretty confident is not available in person. So ordering directly would have been much more expensive, without the BOGO Offer, and with either in person table service tipping or delivery from them. I stand by my review. Pricing would have actually been even less appealing without the BOGO coupon which came from a third party. I do not wish to be a "hater". I genuinely did like the food. I complimented the quality. That isn't the issue. It is mostly the pricing and the onions haha. If I ever get the chance to dine here in person, I look forward to updating my rating!

We didn't realize this place was a cousin of Shiro and owned by the same guy until we saw some similarities in their style, layout and menu but nevertheless, the food was still absolutely amazing. Even though the ambiance had some similarities, I'm glad their food options were distinguished because otherwise could have just gone downtown. You cannot go wrong with any of their food options. Highly recommend doing family style so you can get a taste of everything and all the different flavors. We started with the gyoza and calamari which were to die for and were not greasy at all. Pork ssam, wagyu, miso pasta and octopus all brought a little bit of their own element and flare to your palate that it's hard to describe unless you try it. Wagyu was just melt in your mouth delicious. Pork ssam and octopus had their crunchy texture and umami flavors. The miso pasta added a light refreshing touch to balance everything out but don't let it fool ya, the noodles will expand in your stomach. We topped it off with their yuzu cake. Our only disappointment was they were out of their other desserts but nevertheless everyone of us left full and happy. Would come here again.

When I first read about Yozora, I honestly thought it sounded a bit pretentious. Fascinating, but…read morepretentious. Because the idea of music being an actual integral part of the dining experience--not just some kind of background noise--felt a little precious for my taste. I'm glad to admit I was wrong. So let's start with the ambiance and the vibe of Yozora. It's in a fairly non-descript kind of center; not bad but not specially memorable. But the space itself is open and has an air of restrained sophistication. And then there's that hi-fi set up. The music at Yozora really is part of the experience, but it's not intrusive in the way that you'd think. Most of what my dining companion and I heard was 50s and 60s jazz, and it was perfect for the occasion. Sushi and Coltrane are a great mix, and even though we were not far from the hi-fi system, I could hear every word of our conversation, without the need for either of us to raise a voice. Somehow, it's like the music operates on a different frequency from regular table chatter. Suffice to say, the music enhanced the mood and really set a scene for Yozora's chefs to tell some stories. And that, they do really well. We started out with seasonal tempura and miso masu ceviche--ocean trout marinated in miso, soy, and lime juice--that was sublime. But funnily enough, the real star small plate was a truffle creamy miso soup that was earthy and slightly sweet at the same time and was silky in texture. From there, we ordered a series of crudo and battera, each unique in its own way. It was wonderful stuff, accompanied by a rice lager. The kitchen at Yozora is not shy about experimenting with non-traditional flavors and ingredients. Sometimes it works really well; sometimes, not as well, but it's never bad, and the servers actually ask for feedback for the kitchen, which is something I rarely see. Yozora honestly seems to be most concerned with creating a great dining experience, and it does that, from the chefs to the line cooks to the servers (who are helpful and attentive without hovering). The music, the mood, and the menu add up to a memorable experience.
