Giordano's is a great restaurant to visit. From pizza to seafood, they have it all. They have what I consider to be the best fried oysters anywhere. The fried whole belly clams are also second to none. A great location in Oak Bluffs right near the historic Flying Horses Carousel. read more

Someone recommended I come here for the clams. I arrived at about, 5ish... Super busy! I, however, was seated right away. I had a wonderful server, names Ana. I ordered the garden salad to start, and the liguine with white clam sauce. The lettuce leaves on the salad, were wilted. You could tell by the temperature of the leaves, the salad was pre made and stuck in the fridge. I forgot all about the salad, once the entrée came. This food was piping hot, fresh and delicious!! I was given some warm dinner rolls, with butter. I washed this all down with a light beer, that is made locally. I cannot remember the name of the brewery. To finish, I devoured the mini cannoli. The sweet creme filling had chocolate chips!! I ordered the penne with meatballs to go, for my son. He ate it without uttering a word....that means he loved it!!! I am looking forward to eating here again, the next time I'm in town!! read more

Food was ok, service was extremely poor. Asked 3 times for ketchup or cocktail sauce and took over an hour (and a separate trip up to the host stand) to receive either. Fried food doesn't exactly taste good an hour after it comes out, very disappointing dinner choice. Wasn't asked if I needed another drink, wasn't asked if I needed a box, wasn't really asked anything at all. There's a lot of good places to eat on the vineyard, you can skip this one. read more

My best friend has a bad stomach disease and we were told by our server that she could get grilled chicken on a salad, but not just a piece of grilled chicken because the "chicken machine" was off. Yummy! After spending a few days in Oak Bluffs and enjoying much of the seafood we decided to enjoy something different and traditional Italian is just what we got. We enjoyed a large cheese pizza which was very tasty and the two kids had mac & cheese and pasta with butter. And the kids agreed that it was both really good. We also had homemade apple crisp. Highly recommend when you need a break from seafood and want a cheaper meal. read more

Around 8pm on Saturday, this was the only pizza restaurant that takes pickup orders! We ordered pepperoni, veggie and cheese pizza over the phone. When I came to pick up, the pickup window had a line of customers picking up large order, ordering a slice of pizza, etc... The staff was very friendly and I could see they were working busy inside. The pizza is simple pizza, nothing more or less, but it made my hungry friends happy later that night. read more

This place is.... okay.... service was a little slow at first but picked up quickly. The meal was decent. Not delicious but definitely filling. Wine was generic. There really is nothing special about this place other than its location. A fly flew into my food at one point... YUCK! A lot of families, which is nice. Definitely a spot to grow into. Wow! If you would like to try a "good" pizza or Italian food, try this place. I was here for long weekend and wanted to have good food after a long day. We had a pina colada and Italian sangria (yum!), vegetarian pizza and garden salad. Vegetarian pizza was a bomb- (really good quality cheese) with double cheese and veggies. I was happy to see that they did not use the "rubbery" mozzarella cheese or canned veggies just like other restaurants have started to do. Excellent service and good ambience! Must try. read more

Good for easy take out dinner with a selection larger than just pizza. The pizza line is always long but once your order is placed they are pretty efficient about getting the pie ready. If you go to the clam bar, the chicken wings and fries are fresh, hot, and delish. If you want pasta dishes, you have to order inside the restaurant. So, if you have a family like mine, you have to order from three different windows/locations, which is inconvenient, but understandable if you just want a clam roll and the pizza people are making the line and wait long. My one rec is to offer bottled sodas and to stay open longer! The fries were so good that I immediately ordered another pint before we finished the first. Amendment- I am from Maryland where we eat fresh cut fries loaded with salt and malt vinegar regularly. If you are looking for fries to eat with ketchup, I would not recommend these fries. These are more like boardwalk fries, which I happen to love. read more

We at here twice while visiting. First visit was the pizza and it was spot on. Last night back for dinner, husband had the steak and I had the spaghetti and meatballs. OMGOSH took me back to my Grandma's meatballs, they rocked. Went back later in the night for a to go Brownie sundae, so good. Got a Lobster Roll from the Clam Shack adjacent to the main Restaurant. Borderline inedible, frozen then thawed meat that was limp, rubbery and tasteless. The texture was equivalent to soft tofu, as was the taste. Been eating at Gio's for DECADES and have never been disappointed until today. Plenty of great food there but steer clear of the Lobster Roll! read more

On our last day on the island, just before boarding the ferry back, we stopped at Giordano's for lunch. We had eaten at many of the popular spots, but was craving good, traditional food. We ordered a 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 sausage pizza plus fries. The pizza was very good and possibly the best meal that we had in Oak Bluffs. I love a crispy crust and a sauce with rich flavor! Additionally, the staff was quick and friendly. Our server was Em. Next time, we will eat here a few times as I trust that each meal will exceed our expectations. Unfortunately, I can only give Giordano's 4-stars CUZ I haven't eaten at all the seafood restos on Earth. 4 stars cuz I LOVE its Lobster Roll and cole slaw recipe. My sis and I ordered one. The seasoning and mayo perfectly dressed the chunks of lobster meat - not too creamy or salty, I think I taste white pepper. The veggies in the cole slaw was fresh-looking and crunchy, the ratio of mayo dressing to slaw was on-point. I even ate the cole slaw on my sister's plate. read more

This is a loud family restaurant in a prime location. Lots of people & noise. But, the pizza is worth it: yeasty crust, plenty of cheese, good toppings (try the pesto!) the bar is stocked, big beers are only $7, and the wait is usually 5 minutes less than quoted. We keep going back.... read more

I'm originally from MA but have been living in TX for the last 3 years now. Every time I come up home to the northeast, the first thing I have to have is fried seafood. Giordano's was THE recommendation from a friend that is from the Vineyard, for fried clams because that's what I was craving for lunch. It didn't disappoint, big portion with fries, coleslaw, tartar and a lemon wedge. The clams were big bellies and bursting with flavors of the sea, amazing!! Service was great, server kept my coke full and kept the area clean. Small side note, left my credit card there like a dummy and I had already flown back to TX, they were so gracious enough to mail it back to me, got it back in 4 days since flying back - talk about fast! After 2 days of working a conference, all I wanted was to bring a pizza back to the hotel room and relax. After Googling asking a VTA driver for the best pizza place, we settled on Giordano's. The woman on the phone was very patient with my numerous questions (we were in the car, on the other side of the island, with no internet so we couldn't look up the menu). On her recommendation, we went with the Meatball Parm Pizza, which was AMAZING. I ate 3 huge slices. It was not too greasy or oily (although, I did de-grease, but only used 1-2 napkins). It was nice and thin, but with a thick end crust. It wasn't as good reheated the next day, but it was still delish. And it was only $17.50 for a really good-size large! read more

Love love love this place! The take out oysters and shrimp are a MUST for me every visit and last visit I went everyday. It's a great post beach bite. The restaurant itself is also great if you want to sit down and have pasta, you can also have the same takeout seafood. The Alfredo is to die for and on my last visit I was so glad I had leftovers to take back to the mainland with me. While the service is usually good, my last visit was a bit off towards the end. My waitress had left and the person who came to our table to check on us told us they were closing in 4 minutes and to pretty much hurry up despite there being another table still in the place. It was weird no one mentioned this to us at least 10 min before. When we asked for a drink refill we were told we could get a to go cup because they were trying to get us out. Weird, but because of my previous experiences, I'm giving 5 stars and hoping that was a fluke. I'll be back next year! read more

Every year Giordanos is our first stop on the island and we are never disappointed! We were so relieved that they were opened as we came a little earlier this season. COVID has impacted so many small businesses this last year but Giordanos didn't miss a beat! We came off the ferry starving, with 4 adults and 3 kiddos, we ordered 2 large cheese pizzas, 1 pepperoni, chicken fingers, buffalo fingers, French fries and of course the clam strips! Every single thing was fantastic, the pizza was perfectly cooked, crispy and oozing with cheese and flavor, the kids devoured the chicken fingers and the clam strips are just always to die for. We are so incredibly happy this restaurant is here and hoping it thrives this season. Please support small business this Summer and especially visit Gios - we know our trips to the Vineyard wouldn't be the same without it! We even got a picture with the owner, Buster! :) read more

I only had 30 minutes before my ferry departure back to the mainland, but I was really hungry and eager to squeeze in one more legitimate east coast meal. Kudos to Rebecca, who got us in and out in record time, with nothing but smiles! We had clam strips, a shrimp caesar salad, and the seafood pasta. They got the dishes out expeditiously, with no shortcuts on taste! The seafood alfredo was so amazing, with chunks and chunks of fresh scallops, shrimp, and lobster, that I actually had separation anxiety when it was time to pack the rest up. The caesar salad had crisp romaine, piles of parmesan shavings, and a rich dressing. If I ever visit MV again, a return to Giordano's is a must! read more

After walking buy over and over I had to try the pizza. It smelled so good from the street. I ordered a cheese and broccoli/pepper from the take out line. While I could not figure out if there was a difference in the sidewalk window compared to the counter inside, the entire pizza team was amazing. I stood inside while my pizza was being made and this team was impressive with how efficient and quick they were, and most of all, accurate.
