I walk into Giovanni's today and I am greeted with kindness and great customer service. I order the chicken alfredo and am pleasantly surprised by the zing and feeling of sparks on my tongue and I finish it off with a tiramisu that would knock your socks off. This is my favorite local pizza shop. I have not been in for a sit down meal, but this is my go-to place for delivery. Each time I call in the person on the other end of the phone is eager to help me out and even recommend something new. One day I was ordering for some buddies as we were watching football and they were out of an appetizer, so he put something together for us that wasn't technically on the menu but it was great. Delivery can sometimes take a bit, but the pizza is worth it and for a great deal too. Definitely a New York Style pizza place with big slices. Can't wait for our next pizza night! read more

On a pleasant bicycle trip of 12 miles I happened across Giovanni's and decided to have lunch there. I found the service to be friendly and courteous but most satisfying of all was discovering what an exceptional value the M-F lunch special is. A personal pizza (which is nearly substantial enough for two) and a decent sized salad for a mere $6! I had mine vegan (spinach, tomato, no cheese) and they accommodated me just fine. Service is sporadic at best. Sometimes when you call for pick up, your order is ready and other times you have to wait. The one time that we had it delivered- It took quite a long time. We only live about 4 miles away. Young kids trying hard. Pizza isn't bad. Since we moved into the local neighborhood more than three years ago, we have enjoyed having such a family-friendly pizza shop less then five minutes away. The range of pizzas, pastas, chicken, and desserts is great and they all taste fantastic. Service is always prompt, courteous, and friendly and we have never had any issues with food or service. We really appreciate the VIP perks and emails, and the discount pizzas for our birthdays and wedding anniversary are greatly appreciated. We are new to harvest area and we ordered this tonight- VERY GOOD. Used to live in Dallas where we could get any pizza we wanted delivered. Now living out here it's a little harder but since we found Giovanni's, we are not complaining. I don't eat cheese and they took my jalapeño and no cheese delivery perfectly. They have a points program, yet I have ordered here several times yet I still have a zero balance. Let me preface this by saying I am from the north east, and I am VERY picky about pizza having worked in a pizza place for over 10 years. My favorite in the area is still Cavalli pizza in Irving if that sets the tone. Problem is it is cold by the time I get home. I must say the kids that were working at Giovannis were great. Went above and beyond for me... they actually offered to bring the pizza out to the car when it was done as I called it in and my daughters were sleeping in the back seat. Sadly, the pizza was just "average".. .thats really all I can say. I wouldn't go back for it unless I was driving by and the kids wanted pizza brought home. The chicken parm sandwich was "ok", but again nothing I would return for. If I am leaving the house from Lantana to pick up pizza it will not be to there as I can get to Grimaldi's quicker and Mellow Mushroom is on my way home from work. I was really hoping for a better experience as I want a local pizza shop that is worth the business. For now I am stuck making them myself if I don't feel like ordering from the others I mentioned above. read more

In the past two years the new owner has made amazing changes. The dining room is comfortable and clean, and the food has been improved 100%. Every meal we get tastes better than the last. My family and I have ordered from Giovanni's for years. Pizza is amazing. Thin crust, crunchy but soft... perfectly enjoyable. My personal favorite pizza there is the Buffalo Chicken Pizza with a side of ranch, absolutely delicious!!The wings are also very good. (Huge fan of the buffalo sauce) Great service, delivery is super quick and food stays nice and warm. P.S the cheesecakes are mouth watering haha! Giovanni's has been our go to pizza delivery for the past 4 years. Their pizza is awesome and rates a 5 star rating normally. Tonight I called in pizza and ordered a small cheese and pineapple only pizza for my granddaughter's friend that was here. An hour later when the pizza arrived the pizza I had ordered her had pepperoni.. she doesn't eat meat. I called and the person that took my order argued with me about what I had ordered. There were 3 other people in my car when I ordered they would have corrected me. He finally said we could send another out or give us a credit. Bottom line don't argue with the customer. read more

The biggest problem restaurants have is staffing. Ordered tonight which we do weekly and the pizza was wrong. After calling and being put on hold the young lady got the order wrong as well as the price when we picked it up. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is good and they try but the consistency seems to be inconsistency. Just make sure your order is right and check the pricing. What you will get is a good pizza and the owner actually cares but he cant do it all. Will be back next week to try again. read more

Been awhile since I've been here so I thought I would give them a go. Ordered three Togo pasta dishes, chicken alfredo and two spaghetti w meatballs, order of cheese bread. The alfredo was very good but something happened to the spaghetti w meatballs, no meatballs. They got the order wrong and thought it was meat sauce. They chopped up the meatballs to become meat sauce. The entree was still good but I ordered meatballs. I will give them another shot in the future because they deliver as well. read more

Very good pizza! It's basically a New York style pizza, meaning the crust is on the flat side. They always say 30 to 45 minutes to deliver, but it's usually only 30 minutes; and the pizza is always hot. I recommend. read more
