Great little Italian spot in Northlake. The service is nice, our server Santos was great, and the atmosphere is kind of rustic upscale. To start we had pink lemonade, bread, garlic parmesan oil, and stuffed mushrooms with alfredo (not all at the same time). The bread was amazing, and the garlic parmesan oil had a great flavor - the oil was good quality. In truth, if we had just gotten bread and two orders of the stuffed mushrooms, that might have been the way to go. lol They were divine. For our entrees we had angel hair with vodka sauce and chicken, and the sausage pepper parmigiana. The vodka sauce was good, but the chicken was pretty dry. They might boil their chicken breasts first and then sear them later, it was a little rubbery. That's fine, can get around that, but it was really under seasoned. Could use a nice brine or olive oil marinade, but if it's boiled, that might be tricky. The sausage pepper parmigiana was delicious. The sausage was good by itself, but with the onions, peppers, mushrooms and marinara, it was great. This is pretty far from where we live, definitely outside our "bubble", but we might come back from time to time just to have the bread and alfredo covered stuffed mushrooms. Overall, pretty good experience! =)

WOW, every single time we go to this place, we are always so happy we did. The food has been amazing and the drinks are great. I also love love love the dessert menu, so many choices. Al and his family make this family-owned restaurant such a great experience in this area. Highly recommended.

We were recommended this spot by a friend. He wouldn't shut up about it. Gave it a try today for lunch. Arrived at 1:30 pm and it was pretty quiet inside. Nice patio section and the weather was good so we sat outside. Our waiter Santos was the one man show, bartender, host and waiter. He was awesome and took care of us even though we were the only ones on the patio. I had the lunch portion of chicken Alfredo and it was the perfect portion size! Everything was fresh including the grated cheese on the included salad. My wife had the lunch Chicken Piccata and it was soooo good! We both enjoyed the flavors and freshness of the meal. The place feels upscale but the prices were not over the top. We will definitely be back!

Ambiance is decent. Walked in for a to go dessert after being disappointed at another establishment in Northlake Commons.. Is the rent there too high? Literally the second place today that has manipulated the portions so much that I actually thought it was a joke or mistake. Got the lemoncello cake and tiramisu.. look at this pic! What?? $7 for this?? People.. you think that we won't drive to Denton or FM? Jokes on you. That's why those places are void of customers. Usually have folks there by default (time sake). Sorry....

I had the eggplant parmigiana and it was very good. My dad use to make this and theirs was just a bit better. My wife had the chicken cacciatore and the chicken wasn't as tender as it should be but still tasty. This is not Olive Garden style food. The spaghetti was very good and was served on the side of my egg plant. I would give this a try.

The white wonder with green olives, the Greek salad is amazing and espresso martini to die for!

You get another chance Tuesday through Sunday at noon to snag a cancellation, which is easier in my opinion. The pasta bar isn't the typical bar you'd imagine. You're seated at the place they actually make the pasta looking at a wall with pasta making tools. You do sit side-by-side, but we found it spacious and quaint. The service there is phenomenal. They're courteous, friendly, and helpful at explaining and answering any questions. The peppadew peppers were recommended to us, but we did not enjoy it. They ended up removing it from our bill, which we thought was nice. We didn't ask for it or request it, but our waitress felt guilty since she recommended it to us. The fried squash blossoms have a very light tempura style frying with a ricotta mixture inside. It was a bit too much cheese for us, but it was still good. The tagliatelle was good, but the vegetables in it were a bit strange. You don't really expect a crunch with your pasta. What I really didn't like about the dish was the black pepper. I'd randomly bite into a black pepper and it was overpowering. The lemon panna cota was tasty with the strawberries and cookies. The highlight was the Nutella cream puff pastries. It was delicious and light. Highly recommended! It was a wonderful experience, but the food was just good, not knock your socks off amazing. It's great to see how fresh everything is, just wasn't our taste.

We'd always notice it, but for whatever reason, never stopped. Finally, we decided, "Let's just go"--and I'm so glad we did. First off, it's BYOB, which is always a nice bonus. The food feels very homemade and clearly made to order (I know for sure the Alfredo sauce is). I started with the bruschetta, and let me tell you--it is not the bruschetta you're expecting. It's different, unique, and absolutely incredible. So good it deserves its own shoutout. I ordered the three-cheese ziti, and it was fantastic. Honestly, the biggest compliment I can give is that none of us left with leftovers. Every single bite was eaten. That never happens. The place has that cozy, mom-and-pop feel, with limited tables, so there's a chance you might have to wait--but it is 100% worth it. If you're on the fence like I was for years, take this as your sign to go. I'd absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back.

I like the gentle soft music playing in the background. It adds for a super relaxing lunch experience. We started off with the fried mozzarella "sticks". They were delicious. Light and airy and their marinara sauce was the perfect compliment. If this sauce is on the meatball sub I'm gonna be a very happy guy! Our waiter, an absolute Gent brought out some homemade garlic rolls that were simply exquisite! Fresh and tasty. A real treat! Of course I had to order the meatball Parmigiana sub. Spaghetti. It arrived in no short order and was perfectly prepared. Served hot. I especially liked the sub. Light and airy and toasted to pure tender perfection. The meatballs were good. I'd argue a bit more seasoning was needed. The sub needed a bit more sauce. I want a messy meatball sub. I remedy this by using some of the marinara from the bread and mozzarella sticks. We also tried the Fettuccine Alfredo. For me the Alfredo sauce was a bit of a disappointment. I like it salty. It was creamed based and needed some fresh Parmesan cheese and salt. I was sitting on a 3-4 star review landed on 4 overall.

The chicken pesto entree was okay, but they used some other herb besides Basil in the pesto that is just not my jam-- dill maybe?, chervil??-- I dunno, but it threw off the flavor for me. That said, the cutlet underneath was very crispy and all the bites without the pesto were delish!. I have heard raves about the burger, so maybe that is worth another shot?? The service?, not stellar, just bored and unenthusiastic at the counter and s-l-o-w from the kitchen. The carrot came out quickly, but the cutlet took about 30 minutes after that, and the place was nearly empty. And, sorry to mention this part, the bathroom was filthy. I try not to correlate a dirty bathroom with a dirty kitchen, but it's difficult to reconcile.

We ordered the Italian Cobb and it was good but a bit sparse - not packed full of all the yumminess it's made of anymore. Nonna's meatballs were the biggest disappointment. They have gone up almost $5 I believe and whoever's Nonna made them, overcooked or microwaved them to death. They used to be SO good! Now, they aren't. We ordered 3 pizzas - the Bianca, the Margherita and the BBQ Arezzo. The Bianca was good, the Margherita was good but a little sparse and the BBQ Arezzo was awful. Like, nobody would eat it awful and that's pretty bad. I don't know if ingredients were bad or what but there was little to no sauce and it was just...bad. So bad that I called and spoke to the manager that offered a free pizza - NO thanks - or a refund. I opted for the refund and because we still have not gotten a refund for the 1 pizza only, I decided to write a review. We have literally been going to Earl's for YEARS and it has always been amazing. I looked past the prices going up because the price of food had gone up but when nobody will eat the food because it tastes horrible or is overcooked and we have spent close to $100, I'm out.
