I ordered a regular roast beef sandwich and a large homemade onion rings. I ended up waiting about a half hour whi was understandable because it was busy. i watched the guy making the onion rings and noticed his gloves were filthy and dripping sweat out of them and I also noticed he grabbed his hat several times and then touched food. Maybe he wasn't taught about cross contamination??? My roast beef sandwich was cold and the onion rings breading pretty much all fell off. I was very, very disappointed in my meal and ended up throwing most of it away. I would never return to this restaurant if it was the last one in the world. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. Even the fact that my food was trash, the fact that all the cross contamination, I watched as people touched their hats, touched money and things of that nature and then touch food. My son's name is Giovanni so we had to stop in and give this place a try. We called in the order while being about 15 mins away and it was ready by the time we got there. Service was quick and friendly, parking was easy (private lot). It was a solid pizza that I'd describe as Greek in style, quite similar to House of pizzas. Not too thick, but not thin either. My son likes plain cheese but I wanted some toppings so we did half Hawaiian. Both sides were delicious. I'd return here if I'm the area again. read more

Oh my goodness! After being out of New England for the past 12 years, I really wanted a roast beef sandwich with just sauce. I got the Jr Roast Beef sandwich. It was big! The beef was lean and rare exactly as I like it. This sandwich was a 10 all day long!! My husband got the sausage sub and he said that was excellent too. We will definitely be back. Service is always great. They work very hard in the heat and they're very busy. I've been ordering the steak tip salad with feta for 8 years now. Used to be consistent, full and hearty. The last few times I've ordered the steak has been dry and tastes like chuck stew beef and has the same texture. Dry as the Mohave. The feta used to be plentiful, but has also taken a halt. The lettuce has a lot less than before, but the price has climbed to 20 dollars for one salad. I'll pay 20 for a salad that's worth it, but this has been disappointing and not consistent. There is no way in hell this is a 20 dollar salad. I can go out to eat at a fine dining restaurant and get served a better salad than this for 20 dollars. Go back to what you used to be and I'll pay 25! Again, it's not the cost, it's the value. read more

Ordered a House Chicken Calzone and it was horribly disappointing. Having the dressing cooked inside tasted awful. The chicken was undercooked and I ended up just throwing it out because I thought it would make me sick to eat. Salad was also disappointing. The veggies clearly had not been washed and had a dirty taste to them. Roast beef sandwiches were okay. Nothing much to report but also not very memorable. There is nothing my family and extended family have tried on the menu has disappointed anyone. The calzones, the wings, pizza, chicken parmigiana, subs and chicken Alfredo are all so yummy that we can't wait to try more of the menu. Sadly disappointed with my last experience here. I use to order lunch here once a week. Moved away for a few years and went back as a must have on my trip home last Saturday. I called my order in and my folks and i were paying separate. The girl answering the phone was a total ahole throughout the call. I almost hung up and called Dominoes i gave her my cc and told her the balance for my folks items would be cash on delivery. She said ok and then charged my cc for everything and then tried to charge them cash on arrival too. I've never had such awful rudeness from this place. Steak Kabob Salad with Feta was amazing. The steak was very tender and full of flavor. No cheap meat like many places put in salads. I seen 14 people working in this small strip plaza restaurant. They were busy but food still came fresh and fast. My only disappointment is that many regular customers were trying to order the roast beef which they were out of. While heading home from a long weekend of camping , we had to stop for a break and were STARVING! Londonderry is like the ONLY place in miles for a gas station, food and a place to recharge for a bit before getting back on the road and fighting traffic. We saw a sign saying something OTHER than fast food and headed there. Its actually only about a mile off 93 and easy to find. Its at the far left corner of a small strip mall. It was mid July and we were cooking hot in the car. We were pleased to find that it was well air conditioned inside to accommodate for the pizza ovens and the heat.humidity. it was rather busy around lunch time but we didn't have to wait long to place an order . Usually if i've never been to a pizza place before, I'd just get cheese. Something about how busy the place was made us give a pepperoni/mushroom pizza a shot, and some greasy filing onion rings sound good too! The one missing star really is for the lack of comfortable seating. The chairs and tables are all really close together - I understand they are accommodating as many as they can, but It felt like I had to move both the table and chair every time I needed to shift a bit or get up for napkins. Service was indifferent. They weren't rude or making us wait but no smiles or friendly demeanor from staff. They bring your food but utensils, getting up to get a drink or anything is all on you. No big deal , not looking for the Ritz Carlton treatment on a stop off - but hey, smile! its contagious.! The pizza - was actually perfect. When I say perfect I mean for the time/place/what I pictured in my mind's eye - I received. Thinner than greek crust but not quite thin crust, cheese that had some cheddar/mozz mix with herbs, sauce slightly acidic like i LOVE it, with a fresh tomato taste. and The toppings were quality ( canned mushrooms should be banned!) and the onion rings were a perfect compliment. Ultra light, crispy and tasty beer batter on huge thick sliced onion rings but they were thin thin and like potato chips almost. Heaven!! A nice creamy , slightly spicy dipping sauce came with it and i swear I could drink it straight it was so good. The salad was jut meh but the greek dressing I received was homemade and so creamy I asked for extra. At this point I was such a stuffed little fat kid I just didn't care and we ended up taking home leftovers of everything and enjoying it all again later when we arrived home. If they were closer I'd need a forklift to get around. Will def make our way back here again!! read more

let me tell you something please , I've been driving all over New England for 25 years doing construction work . I've been to some horrible sandwich shops in my time. Giovanni's Londonderry is now in my top 3 ,and that's not easy. i got my roast beef tonight and dry heaved at the kitchen table due to the smell. it smelt like the dump. i order chicken fingers and got wings witch were also disgusting and I didn't think anyone could mess up fries but i was wrong . 40 dollars 4 items and me and my family threw it right in the trash. that's the most expensive bag of trash I've had . wish i could give zero stars. complete trash read more

Tried to order a buffalo chicken salad with ranch dressing, but they apparently don't have ranch dressing. What kind of restaurant doesn't carry a basic flavor, especially when you also sell wings? Giovanni's makes a decent pizza pie and has cold & hot subs, hot roast beef sandwiches, salads, pasta, kabobs, steak tips, calzones (the Traditional has ricotta), fried appetizers, kids meals, chips, and Coke products from the cooler (they have Yoo Hoo!!). The small dining area is crammed to the right with a few tables and wood seats and a flat panel TV showing local advertisements. The pizza topped with lots of oil, and the right amounts of cheese, sauce, and toppings. The thin crust is like crispy pizza bread with a bit of sweetness and does not get soggy. The sausage on the pizza is sliced. I get pizza and other food here because it's close to my pad and they deliver on Saturdays and Sundays only. read more

I used to eat here frequently when I lived nearby and food was great especially the steak subs polo pizza and chicken kabobs. I was in the area today and thought I would treat myself to a chicken kab salad. When I picked it up the whole place looked different, not clean, workers unkemp. What I got wasn't chicken kabobs it was tough grilled and sliced chicken breast, no flavor of marinade or spice. Very disappointing experience, not as advertised or as served in the past. Teddy et al have either sold it or sold out. Never again especially at nearly twelve dollars for a grilled chicken salad. Wendy's is cheaper and much better salad. read more

First and definitely last time at this particular Giovanni's. Their onion rings were unbelievably disgusting!!!! 100% saturated in OLD oil!!! I was truly shocked at their audacity to sell this product! Their frozen & refried mozzarella sticks we're old as well & were delivered cold. There's only two pizza Meccas in the United States. New York and Chicago. I'm from New York. Thinner crust fold it in half and chow. Chicago likes the thick pie. Both are good. Speaking unbiased from my new home in the Manchester/Londonderry area, Giovanni's is the best I've had so far. Might be others. Not judging. But this is a very good pie. I've had other things on the menu so far and haven't been disappointed. Def worth 4-5 stars until I find better. read more

Love ordering from here. We usually order once a week from Giovanni's. Unfortunately I ordered dinner and they never delivered my meal... Giovanni's food is great. The roast beef sandwiches are like real north shore roast beef sandwiches. The staff is nice and friendly too.

We come here often for lunch and they're always consistent. Good local spot for pizza and they're Greek salads are great.
