What an amazing roof top experience I had here between the food and service was amazing. The soft R&B hip hop in the background by the DJ just adds to the atmosphere. Having said that, the restaurant has all the immaculately perfect vibes and aesthetics for not only a delicious dinner but an IG photo sesh of you will. I mean...a powered retractable roof opened after the rain to enjoy a beautiful sunset while you dine is not ordinary by any means. Jenny, the bartender who took care of me with the food and drinks was the definition of "top notch" staff. She's not only beautiful but friendly, attentive, helpful and welcoming. This is one of the last Miami Spice meals I had and one I enjoyed fully. Started to warm up with a "Close to Midnight" cocktail that was both spicy and refreshing at the same time and they kept coming, repeatedly. Now for the menu items I opted for, let me break it down... STEAK TARTARE: prepared table side, it's brought deconstructed and then mixed all together resulting in one of the best steak tartare dishes I've tasted to date. Filet mignon was top quality and all the components together with a side of toast was a quite the start of an exceptional dinner. This I'd order every single time. MEDITERRANEAN BRANZINO: perfectly cooked branzino, of the best quality, with a side of fennel confit and broccolini. What made this dish incredibly delectable is that lemon stock or broth on the side adding just the right amount of acidity and flavor. I ordered a side of the mashed potatoes that are to die for. These mashed potatoes were just out of this world "good" and a must try as a side dish. GISELLE'S PEARLS: presentation is simple yet visually pleasing, it's not only pretty but heavenly sweetness to say the least. In essence a "tres leches" with a unique added crunch from these so called "pearls". I don't have a sweet tooth but I wouldn't mind having this dessert every once in a while. Then, of course I got burned because that same customer had issues so I called about five hours before the reservation and canceled. They were nice. My wife and I flew in on Friday evening and our hotel's area did not have too many late night options for food (and drinks) She's the yelper between the two of us so I'm trust whatever she finds. From the moment we met someone there (Jose) it was smiles all around! Ok I know some people care for the food review so here it goes. We ordered the chefs centerpiece to start with and ended our night with the flambé lobster. Several cocktails were also consumed but here's the overall takeaway... the first dish had items that we thoroughly enjoyed and some items that needed some refinement for our tastes. Nothing wrong with it whatsoever though. The lobster was the highlight and that sealed the deal. The main course though? Major kudos to Valentino and George for taking care of us from start to finish. When any establishment makes you feel all fuzzy and warm inside - especially when it's as if you're visiting close friends of family - that's something else. Shoutout to Mez (sorry for the misspelling?) who murdered it behind the bar, Ivano who belongs at a Tomorrowland stage & the amazing sax player! Came here from dinner right after landing in Miami because not only are they open late but they had reservations available. I didn't have high expectations for the food because it's above a club and owned by a club so I thought it is just known and popular because it's trendy. The Szechuan calamari was a bit salty for my tastes, the shrimp cocktail was good but came after our mains and we had to flag down our server to inquire where it was. I personally feel strongly about restaurants that don't course the dishes out appropriately especially for a raw menu food item, and our server was a bit hard to flag down. The beef tartare was bland and forgetful, I wouldn't order it again, and while the lobster fra diovolo was good it was too salty. i was most surprised that their steak was the best dish out of all the items we got, I mainly ordered it because its prime steak. So to begin its already a higher quality cut of steak, but the sear and temp of the steak was a perfect medium rare. The giselle sauce that came with the steak was their version of A1 steak sauce and it was good but a bit too vinegary for me. We also got the head over heels drink to share and this came in an adorable shoe glass served on a mirror tray and the drink was actually really good. I stood as there are only 6 seats for the entire bar. There was a DJ, the music was loud but good vibes. I tried a few of the cocktails on the menu, all of which were pretty good. We also tried the Szechuan calamari which I thought was tasty just a little soggy, too much sauce, and not crispy on the outside, and one of the sushi rolls. The service even just at the bar was fantastic, very attentive bartenders and bussers too. I found the menu to be small yet all over the place and pricy, but everything that I saw come out of the kitchen looked and smelled fantastic. Drinks are more on the expensive side, but good news they are pretty tasty! For you old fashion lovers their take on this drink was smooth, fun and even came with a little ice cream cone! The cappuccino martini was also delicious! Comes topped with a foam and adds a little sweetness to the drink! For dessert the Gisselle pearls is a MUST!! As much as I really wanted to like Giselle, I agree with several of the reviews here that it is over priced and too hyped up. We came to celebrate a friend's birthday. If you are driving, try to find street parking because their $40 valet basically drives your car 10 more feet then where you drop it off and is completely pointless. The other option is for $20 and they say it'll take 20 minutes to get your car to discourage you and his parked several blocks away. If you have the choice just Uber is probably cheaper. Once we got up to the restaurant, we were greeted and seated right away, and the restaurant is nice and has a cool vibe on the inside. I will say our servers did take very good care of us. We ordered a round of drinks and for $20 a drink. I don't feel like they were anything out of this world. It was more so a large cube of ice that took up 70% of a glass. We also got still water for the table. For the appetizers, we ordered the waygu dumplings, and they were very good. They come with five pieces so it's good enough to share amongst two people. The dish is $26 but you know we're eating so the price is expected. I would definitely recommend them to try. For the main course, we order the New York strip with the mac & cheese as the side to split. First of all the steak came out pretty rare, and we had to send it back twice until it was medium. Again, the servers were attentive and making sure we were happy and getting the steak right the way we wanted it. But for a $70 steak, it was horrible. Didn't have much taste and I would say I've had better priced steaks for less. No sides were included for that $70 so we opted for the truffle mac & cheese. Though it is a little bit pricey at $30 I would say the portion is enough for 3 to 4 people to split and this was my favorite meal of the night. It was very cheesy and you could taste the truffle, it was delicious. Highly recommend it. For dessert, we ordered the Gisele's pearls which was decent as well. It came with a little congratulations chocolate for our friends birthday. A little disappointing considering I'm sure a lot of people celebrate their birthdays here. Once we got our bill, it was $600 (including the same meals our friends ordered) and we were charged $30 in water which we were never told that the water is by the bottle. Also, they do not leave the bottles at the table. The bottles are rotating so I find it a little misleading because you don't know if you actually drank the full bottle or not and they keep refilling them without asking you obviously because they are making money off you. Once we paid and we're leaving we' we're waiting by the elevator and wanted try to get a picture where one of the staff told us that there was a line to take pictures. I found a weird as they really were standing waiting for the elevator to leave. It was just a client who had not even sat down at her table yet or ordered any food. He was rude and disrespectful to paying clients telling us that we had to wait in the line if you wanted to take a picture, even though we were waiting in the elevator to go down in the same spot. The girl literally took a video walking to the elevator and that was it. It was so stupid. If you decide to go in 11 there's a cover charge of $45 for women and $60 for men even if you ate at the restaurant. I understand people not consuming at the restaurant but I would have thought spending money in the restaurant you could at least get a discounted or free entry. I would say if you're looking for a good restaurant with a unique experience, there's many more options in Miami. Giselle fell well short of what I had expected. Giselle is more about social media clout and girls walking around, taking videos for their Instagram than it is about actually providing a worthy restaurant experience for the price you pay. Initially I ordered a drink named MAKE ME BLUSH but I did not love it ; honestly I was not going to say anything but our waitress offered to change it (which I highly appreciated since the drinks are a bit expensive ) so I got the CLOSE TO MIDNIGHT and that drink was really good. For the main menu we got the skirt stake with the max & cheese. Both really really good. The meat was flavorful and the perfectly cooked. Our least favorite was the MAINE LOBSTER FRA DIAVOLO but maybe is because we are more on the beef eating side. Overall I would say Giselle is an experience where you get a really good service all the staff are continuously cleaning the table , changing your plates and utensils, asking you how is everything, very attentive. On no Giselle, what is you doin!? Hands down, the weirdest restaurant and I don't think I mean that in the best way. If you're from out of town and want a pic to make everyone back home jealous, okay. By all means, go and get a drink and split an entree. I'll start with the good - the entrees. The filet mignon and our branzino were cooked perfectly. I would recommend skipping the appetizers and just doing entrees. The waygu dumplings were also worth mentioning. The espresso martinis with the Parmesan foam are a must. Here comes the not so great. The calamari tasted like it belonged on a millers ale house menu. It's coated in sauce to the point you can't taste the actual calamari. The tartare had way too much mustard. They might as well rename it to a "mustard tartare" if that's how they're going to sell it. I had the opportunity to try the worst cocktail of my life. I went to college, so you know I've had some crappy mixed drinks, but this drink took the cake. It's the unicorn cocktail that comes with cotton candy. Maybe I'm at fault here because it wasn't too bad at first, that is until the cotton candy got into the drink. If you order this cocktail, do not let the cotton candy mix with the drink. You will end up creating something that should be locked up in a chemistry lab with a toxic label on it. And ummmm can we talk about the carpet in the white room? I'm sorry, but what on earth? Our bill alone would've covered the purchase of a rug doctor for the restaurant. We got a good laugh out of it, but jeez.
