I'm not a review person but I had to come on here and leave my own. I absolutely love this place. Their pizza is always amazing (especially the Bianca and Chicken Caprese) and its so affordable. Their conveniently open late to cure that late night craving and it always satisfies. If early enough, they have a gorgeous bar, seating and pool table upstairs. They heat all the pizzas in a brick oven and every slice comes with a bread knot. A true, soft, not greasy bread knot. I also highly recommend the Puffs. They're slipping. Had a cheese slice to go today and didn't look at it until I got back to work and it was just nasty. This is my first time ordering lunch from Gittos. I was able to order online through ChowNow and since I work nearby, I picked it up. I had the NY Style Stromboli with a Garden Salad. The salad was a little plain but the Stromboli was delicious. It was still hot when I got back to my desk. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Before I left, I thought I forgot the Ranch dressing I asked for but it was definitely in the bag (I didn't see it), and they even offered to give me more. This location seems pretty small. There's an upstairs but I didn't go up there. Their first floor doesn't have chairs /tables and there are none outside either. I could be wrong but this place seemed like it was to-go only. The staff was friendly and had my pizza ready pretty fast - there was a bit of a lackluster in overall attitude of the place and lack or organization, but it all turned out well. The pizza was quite decent; it had a nice chew on the crust and a fair amount of charred bubbling on the crust, but the rest of it was a bit bland. Here's the thing- Gitto's is a pizza joint that's open late in Downtown Orlando. Meaning= lots of drunk people come here to soak up the alcohol for a semi-coherent ride home. And Gitto's certainly delivers the giant, New York-style pizza's you would expect. I don't know if it was past midnight or if my slice was extra tasty, but this cheese pizza really hit the spot! The service was also surprising. I expected there to be some annoyed guy behind the counter, but they were extremely nice and when asked if we could have a couple of waters he made sure to go above and beyond and get one for every person in our party (of which there were 6). I'd been to Gitto's on many a Saturday night and yet had never ventured upstairs. Yes~ there's more up there than just the bathrooms! There's a dining area with more seating than you'd expect and you can grove to the beats from next door (put your head against the adjoining wall and feel the bass reverberate through your body). Yes, it's greasy. Yes, it's salty. Yes, you may regret it in the morning. But Gitto's is still one of my downtown late night favorites! read more

Was in Orlando for a few days and was looking for a quick bite to eat late at night and found this interesting pizza place. The place itself is very hole in the wall with a crowd of club and bar people which is a little expected at the time I was there. If you're trying to avoid that, maybe try some place else or go at an earlier time. There's no overhead menu but there are little paper menus that are scattered around the table. With how cramped it looks when entering the place, there is a good amount of seating upstairs. I'm not sure what this style is called but I've experienced this way in Rome as well, they have the pizza pre-made in a display case then you select your pizza and they heat it up for you in a couple minutes. It's a quick process and seems fresh enough to consume so no complaints here. I feel it's a better experience than a pizza that's sitting in rotating heating tray. This place also serves beer also just in case your huge pizza slice needs a friend. I can see this place not being everyone's cup of tea but I've enjoyed the experience and the people there were friendly. Worth checking out. read more

Gitto's is a convenient Pizzeria in the heart of Downtown Orlando. They have seating upstairs, so don't be fooled by the "alley way" pizzeria vibe when you enter. Pizza is reasonably prized, the cooks are also very attentive as to how you want your pizza. Great experience here while staying the night at The Grand Bohemian on my way to vacation. We were recommended to this place by our Valet staff at the hotel and it definitely didn't disappoint. We weren't looking for anything fancy just quick and casual. This was a short and easy walk from the hotel. Gitto's was spot on with what kind of food we were looking for. We ordered a large supreme pizza which easily fed 4 of us. Then we ordered a small cheese that fed the other two in our party. Garlic knots are included in these pizza orders which was a pleasant surprise. They do charge $2 for drinks and no free water just $2 bottle of water. The ordering area is downstairs and dine in is upstairs. There's a decent amount of seating up there and plenty of tvs to watch. Staff is incredibly friendly making for a great experience. The pizzas themselves were amazing everyone in our group enjoyed them. This place can be somewhat noisy and seemed to stay crowded. I would definitely recommend Gitto's to anyone looking for a place to eat in this area. read more

Gitto's isn't anything fancy really and I've had better pizza certainly but for what it is--and the nearly all-night hours it keeps--it's a good find in downtown Orlando. They have a vast variety of pizzas made up to sell by the slice and can add toppings to cheese pizza pretty readily, too. They also have some beer on tap and a really nice upstairs seating area, so if you don't want to take your pizza with you, it's possible to eat there in some comfort. I have been coming here for years and tonight changed it all. We were waiting in line to Get pizza. Which is known that you will wait in the a line anytime after 12am. That's not an issue for us because the pizza is always good. But tonight will be the last time I will ever go there. While waiting in line my husband had to go to the bathroom and he asked nicely to the security guard id he could go! The guard said that he has to wait until he lets him into the store for him to go to he bathroom! My husband waited with no problem! We here next to be let into the store. While waiting a girl walks right in and no one stopped her. My husband went right behind her so he can use the bathroom while order food. While my husband walked in. The rude security guard started to push my husband and started to argue with him. All because he needed to go to the bathroom. I jumped in and said that all he Needs to do is use the bathroom we we buying pizza. We don't know what the issue is. He stated to push him more and more and I got upset and told him not to put his hands on him. There's no reason why he should be touching him or screaming at him. He let a girl walk in with no questions and then decided to stop him! Hmmmmm makes no sense! But you know what! I will never ever come her again or order food here for my team lunches or parties. The pizza is Ok. We had a bunch of family visiting and had a hankering for midnight pizza. This was one of the few places open and they seemed close enough for Uber Eats to deliver. We ordered 2 pies, both arrived in about 45 minutes and still hot. They include garlic knots with each order, you'll need them to wipe up the oil which falls from the pizza. In my early days in Orlando, I frequented the cigar lounge across the street from Gitto and each night would see roughly a few dozen thots walk by, do the "woo hoo pizza," scream and grab a slice. Finally now I know why Gitto's gives you a single garlic knot with each slice, it all makes sense. You throw the garlic knot, at the thots so they can move and not block the sidewalk. All in all, this place is a OK late night pizza joint with overpriced pizza but an Orlando establishment that caters to a specific type of crowd. Grab a slice, go across the street and grab a drink at the cigar bar and enjoy the show. Save the garlic knot for your walk home, you might need it to get someone out of your way. read more
