The crust is ideal, not that ultra thin cardboard style I've seen far too often nor that bloated thick, oh so chewy stuff that makes me gag. Nope, this is the right stuff for sure. Sauce is excellent as well and their toppings? Generous, fresh, and varied. I love onions on my pizza and they put sweet white onions (in chunks) on at the end so they don't turn to mush. They retain their crunch and fresh taste. Perfect! Tried the calzones too. Awesome. They are quite a meal in themselves. Ordered carry out as soon as they opened at 5pm. Maybe they had a surge of orders, but my pizza was hardly cooked. Person who took phone order said they'd apply any discount upon pickup. After presenting card, was told they were the original Giuseppe's and not part of the "other" Giuseppe's. So no discount and pizza was less than stellar. Treating customer with slightly more respect may have garnered another chance, but won't be back. Ok so we sit and it took somewhere between 15-20 minutes for anyone to come by. Thankfully we had gotten our own menus already. So we ordered 3 waters and a large Veggie Pizza. 20 minutes later still no water. I have to blame the owner. There is one teenaged girl and she is so deep in the weeds, I haven't seen her for over 20 minutes. I really wish I could leave half a star on Yelp, because my review would be a 3.5--I always round up, because I feel it is most fair. Giuseppe's is okay. I love that you can order pizza by the slice. I ordered the Pepperoni Party Pack, and it was good, though very greasy. However, that's understandable for pepperoni. My husband got the Meat Lovers, and he did not like it (he is NOT picky at all either). We also tried the meatball subs while we were in HHI, and they were good. If we were to ever eat here again, we would certainly order delivery or carry out. We dined in the first time, and it was a pretty bad experience. What a horrible experience!!! Called the number 17 times and their message says that the are too busy to pick up and try back again later (strike 1). So I go online and they say their not delivering because they're too busy (ok give them a pass). So I decide to order online to pick up and the online system isn't working (strike 2). PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE DINING HERE: we went to eat dinner here with a group of friends. During our hour wait time each of us had one cocktail. We sat down and ordered dinner, and two of our friends ordered a beer. At the end of our meal and unprompted, the server informed us that we were all cut off and none of us would be able to order any more alcohol. We asked for a greater explanation of what happened and why this decision was made, and neither the manager nor the server could give us one. The manager informed us that he would call the police if we continued to push. Mind you at this point, three of us only had one drink and two of us had a couple of beers over the span of two hours. By no means, were we intoxicated and causing a scene. I have never been treated so poorly for no reason at all any restaurant in my life. Additionally, the fact the manager could not provide a reason, and immediately jumped to he would be calling the police is a gross use of power and scare tactics. The portion size was large and was served with garlic bread. I liked it, but didn't love it. I think it needed more sauce. The pasta was cooked well and there was enough sausage to give it flavor, but it lacked sauce and I guess cheese too as it was dry. It's okay, I guess. We ordered pizza, pasta with butter, boneless wings and a "turkey wedgie" and a few bottles of water, to go. Was advised it would be a 1 hour to 1.5 hour wait. Okay. Anyway, my wife was pretty sure they messed up the wedgie. It looked just like a normal Turkey sandwich. The pasta with butter had red sauce on it instead of butter... and they failed to put the meatball on the side as requested. The "large" pizza still felt like it was on the smaller side, and tasted like it was a step above what you'd get from Dominos / Papa Johns. The most annoying part of the whole thing was that, for whatever reason, they don't offer traditional chicken wings on Saturday's during certain months of the year. This is the dumbest, most asinine thing I've ever heard of. Why in the heck not? Never seen an exclusion like this in my life, and it makes zero sense. I was told it had something to do with the fryer? I sincerely don't get it. All of this insanity for the low low price of over $60. Hey Carolers! Just arrived to Hilton Head Island with the family after an excruciating drive and was DYING to have a bite to eat. We walked over to Giuseppi's and were just in luck to have gotten the last table available (even though it was a hard wooden booth, we were grateful to have it)! A lovely lady was there to greet us at the door with a welcoming smile. The restaurant was very busy, however our waitress did an outstanding job of keeping up with our table. Our luck ran out, however, when Richard, my husband, went to order a beer. They were out of 2 different brands! Despite our disappointment, the pizza came through. It was to-die-for! We had to get 2 whole pizzas due to their "No slices after 5" rule for weekends. The best (and worst) part of the experience was when Tommie, my youngest, spilled water all over the table! The reception from the waitress was amazing and she resolved the issue almost immediately. Hello yelpers! I ate at Giuseppi's last night with my family. The pizza was totes AMAZING! Omg it was so good hahaha lol lmao The pizza showed up not too long after we ordered, so we didn't have to wait long. And thank goodness, because I was hungry for pizza! The pizzas we got were hot and utterly delicious...The crust was thick and squishy, and made my mouth water just looking at it. The sauce got all over my fingers, but that was okay because it was just so delicious. Not to mention the cheese, which stretched and slithered off the pizza with every bite. I felt unworthy of such a meal... The only downside was the lack of room and seating. I have a large family (of 17 kids) and there just wasn't enough room for us all! The employees suggested we split up our group, but I am too protective of my little babies to let such a dangerous idea occur. Therefore, we made it work. We squished a couple tables together and made use of the surrounding chairs for seating. It was a little awkward when we had to take the tables and chairs being used by other customers, but it all worked out in the end. All my children enjoyed the pizza as well. Even Tyler enjoyed the pizza, although he had to reheat it because he is still at the hospital (read my other reviews). All in all, my fam and I had a great experience!
