It's called Gladly because people will gladly go back (or at least I would)! This is primarily a drive through location at the moment. We were a little confused when we first arrived because it looks like they do normally have a dine in area, but it was under construction when we visited. They had a sign that they'd take our order at the patio door, but we couldn't figure out which one was the patio door and when we did go to what we thought was the patio door, no one came out but we could see the employees just looking at us lol. We hopped back into the car and went through the drive thru. There wasn't a long line around 1:30pm on a Sunday so we were able to browse the menu and order pretty quickly. They have the menu posted outside the shop for walk up, but the drive thru menu featured other seasonal drinks not listed on the other one. Per everyone's recommendations here, I went with an Iced Dirty Harry Latte (regular at $6). I was worried that it'd be too sweet after reading some other reviews but it actually wasn't that bad. Maybe they made it differently when I went. I really enjoyed it and it tasted so good! Not sure if I really got the butterbeer flavor but it was delicious, nonetheless. Definitely check it out if you're in the area and looking for a quick coffee to go! read more

Great local coffee shop in the Casa de Oro area! Beautifully decorated inside and they also have a drive-through, decent size parking lot. They have a pretty extensive food and coffee menu, including refreshers and blended drinks. Customer service was great. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Went here for a quick breakfast while on a work trip. The drive thru workers were very friendly both times I went, and the line moved fast! I am by no means a food expert, but this was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had! Absolutely packed with flavor! (although tricky to eat in a car without making a mess). My spicy chai was also wonderful! The dining area was closed when I went so I can't speak for that. It looked nice from outside though :) If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be back! read more

Heard great things about this place so decided to check it out. Have had the Moonlight Magic, the Dirty Harry, and the Bees Knees. They are their top three drinks according to the baristas. Let me start off by saying all three were delicious but if you ask for them blended it IS refreshing but the drinks lose their flavor. Highly recommend trying their drinks as cold drinks so you can figure out which is your favorite before venturing to their blended ones as they do not, in my opinion, do the drinks justice. On to specifics! Moonlight Magic: my least favorite of the three but still yummy. It's "Purple Ube with a Gentle Blending of Vanilla, Espresso, Spiced Nutty Flavor with a Cocoa-y Mouthfeel." The ube taste is yummy but it felt like it was competing with the vanilla. Bees Knees: lavender, honey, coffee. Second favorite! Tastes like a refreshing summer drink but with the addition of coffee. The lavender is strong but I love that about it. Dirty Harry: 12/10. I like sweet coffee drinks and this literally hits the spot! If you don't like your coffee sweet I recommend you try Bees Knees or ask them to lighten this one up. It's coffee with burnt butter. It sort of tastes like a marshmallow and your girl is NOT complaining about it. There is a drive through that is always long and snakes out to the main road. If possible it tends to be easy to come from the freeway to enter. All in all: will keep this place in my coffee rotation! read more

I love love love gladly because of its ambience and the drinks are creative and usually very good, but the service isn't always great. The drive through workers especially are very snappy and not the most helpful. Ordering inside is a little bit better, but 9/10 they just seem super uninterested and vaguely upset that I'm ordering. I'll keep coming back because it's decently priced and near my house, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come. read more

Worse drive thru line ever. The "zipper" concept essentially allows people to cut others who were waiting at least 10 mins.. it causes traffic on the main road because of them allowing people to zipper and cut. read more

First time going, didn't get a single smile by anyone, they seem "to busy" to help, apparently wifi "hasn't been working" for a week but somehow didn't communicate that in the beginning until I kept asking why the wifi wasn't connecting. Vanilla latte tasted very artificial, couldn't taste the espresso but could taste the syrup. The inside is nice, just not a good experience. Not sure if I'll give it a try again. read more

Discovered this gem when I was in the area to shop near Grossmont! They offer a stamp card which I would recommend taking because I returned back on multiple occasions wanting to try a different drink! The drinks I've tried so far are their Raspberry Matcha Cooler, Moonlight Magic, and the Bees Knees Ice Blended Latte. My favorites are the Moonlight Magic Blended and Bees Knees! Both drinks are amazing and I'd recommend it for your first time. I can't quite distinguish the flavor of the Moonlight Magic but the drink is purple and topped with blue sprinkles. The Bees Knees is very sweet, I believe it is due to honey in the coffee. I think the Raspberry Cooler was a bit too tarte for me, and the sweetness level was pretty high too, but the drink itself is also pretty to look at! As for food, I tried their Turkey Pesto Melt. I heard my name for my order, walked up and some guy who was eating with his hands rudely grabbed it from me without explaining, wandered off into the kitchen and when he came back handed it to me which it had visibly been gone through. I've noticed that all of the bad reviews on here, un coincidentally come from immature people who curse in their negative review and are probably (unsurprisingly) rude in person. This is mine and my coworkers favorite coffee spot... like ever. I've never had a miss with their drinks. I'm not a huge fan of their breakfast sandwich selection, but I'm also a picky breakfast person (they aren't bad tasting, just definitely won't be everyone's cup of tea). I will absolutely take Gladly any day over Starbucks. Supporting a small business, is everything to me and you absolutely will not be disappointed. Their bee's knees and blended Dirty Harry are to die for. Also if you live close and plan on frequenting this place, ask for a punch card! Love this place for grabbing my morning chai tea and bagel. It's more expensive than making my own but something about picking up food onw to work makes it taste 10x better lol. They give a huge portion of cream cheese on the bagel so I just eat as I drive. There is a military discount but it hit or miss if the person gives to you while in uniform. I don't ask for it bc I think the servers should auto apply. Anyways the breakfast sandwiches, acai bowls, smoothies, cookies butter latte and grilled cheese are very good too! This place is always packed, which I would say is the only downside to this place, but I'm so happy I finally tried it because that sandwich is AMAZING. First, I was blown away at the size, the picture doesn't do it justice, it was at least a pound of sandwich. And all the ingredients were so fresh, the bacon was really crispy, which I appreciate, I hate when bacon is chewy. Overall, it was soooo good. I've been coming to Gladly for a while and always loved it, but unfortunately, the experience I had this today was really disappointing. I ordered a sandwich with steak, but when I started eating it, I realized it actually had bacon. I'm Muslim and don't eat pork, so this was incredibly upsetting I had already eaten about a quarter of the sandwich before I realized. I immediately tried calling the store, but no one answered. I drove all the way back, and since the inside was closed, I had to wait in the drive-thru line for 30 minutes just to speak with someone. When I got to the window and tried to explain what happened, I wasn't given the space to finish my sentence. They just told me to pull forward and that they'd remake it, there wasn't any acknowledgment of how serious the mistake was. I also want to say I'm a barista myself. I completely understand that things can get hectic, especially during busy hours. But this didn't feel like a moment of being busy it felt kinda dismissive. read more

The Dirty Harry is to die for. Visiting family in town and we found this place via Yelp. Stopped by everyday after we discovered it. From the description, the Dirty Harry has butter and brown sugar which is explains why it's the most delicious cup of coffee I've had? But the parking lot drive through situation is a little awkward. Stairs and walkways and parking spots. Supply boxes visible through the windows seems unprofessional. I didn't like it. The menu seems a little gimmicky. Cute names for drinks but you need to read more to find out what's in it. Seems very similar to the Better Buzz coffee shops. I had the bees knees and my husband had the Dirty Harry. They were both way too sweet. I'm sure this spot is great for people who like dessert/treat types of coffees. But it wasn't for me. read more
