I couldn't be happier with the experience! I WILL DEFINITELY return. When I was greeted, the nail tech took the time to listen to what I wanted and I never felt ignored or rushed. I had the honey pedicure and truly loved it. Ivy was a perfectionist and every little detail was top notch. For my manicure, I like the powder dip in French, but am particular and like the white line to be smaller and I generally do gel top coat. Ivy was on it! She was seriously amazing. The salon appears to be very clean as well. Extra benefits: 6 min chair massage after nails were done, paraffin wax on hands with no extra charge. They also have those socks with no toes to keep your feet warm after pedicures. Truly pampered from start to finish. Plan to not rush when you go there, although I'm sure if you were in a hurry, they would probably accommodate that as well. I do believe some steps of the process of both mani and pedi were skipped for some reason- usually they clip the skin around the nails or file them perfectly straight... again- attention to detail was lacking. For the amount of time I spent there, I expected some great work. They have a points program but you have to earn over 400 points to get it, and each point is a dollar. Seems far fetched. I said no problem, left, and waited elsewhere. When I came back, they were still busy, so I sat down. Two other people walked in after me, and they were taken ahead of me. It seemed like they had forgotten that I had returned after an hour, as they asked. I waited another 10 minutes, thinking maybe it was just a mistake. Nope. I felt ignored, so I quietly left. No scene. I just never came back. I rarely complain, and I try to support local businesses as much as I can. But being inconvenienced that way, and feeling unimportant as a regular customer, did not sit well with me. I know every person's experience is different, and this may not be yours. But I figured I'd share it just the same, at least to alert the owners to be more attentive to their regulars.

Walking into the salon, the place was bright and clean. I was welcomed by the man I talked to on the phone, and was taken to the wall of nail polish. They had quite a large selection of colors. My nail tech was good, she didn't talk much which I appreciated because I just wanted to relax and gave me a nice shoulder message afterwards. Overall I'm happy with my nails and will return again.

I typically request an appointment online and despite doing so unless it is early in the morning the appointment always runs much longer than necessary due to how busy they are. I'm not sure if it is due to overbooking or just allowing too many walk-ins, but I have definitely had to wait over 20 minutes for an appointment I made in advanced which is unacceptable. Charming nail is one of the only salons in the area which offers dazzle dry, but the consistency of the service is all over the place. Some technicians follow the dazzle dry procedures perfectly which results in a long lasting manicure, but others don't and my nails chip less than 24 hours after being done. This is frustrating when I'm spending $30 plus tip for something that doesn't last. Especially when I'm getting nails done for a special event. Overall the vibe of the salon is good and the people are nice, but I do hope this lapse in recent service rectifies itself so that I can feel confident in going back.
