I have been involved with pageantry since 2005, finding your perfect gown is important but can also be difficult. I started going to Glam Squad my Senior year of high school. I wanted a designer gown and picked up a beautiful Sherri Hill gown for prom. Since 2016 I have purchased several gowns from Glam Squad. I have won state and national pageant's in gown's all purchased from Glam Squad. I have also purchased interview dresses from Glam Squad. The owner Patti and her daughter are amazing. The staff is always extremely helpful. They have lots of knowledge about gown, designers, and custom pieces. I drive 4 hours to go this store (I'm from small border town of Douglas) and every time I make a trip it is worth it. Patti has been truly so kind and helpful. Glam Squad treats everyone like family. One of the things that I like is the store has lots of Trunk Shows with the top designers (Sherri Hill, Mac Duggal, Jonathan Kayne, Rachel Allen, Ashley Lauren, Ashley Rene's, and many more). As a black woman I appreciate that Glam Squad makes it a priority that all their customers feel like they are represented. They carry "Diverse Style by Sydni Dion" shoes. These heels come in several different skin tones (all the way from light nude, medium nude, dark nude, and black). I loved that I don't have to search high and low to find something that works for me. Another plus is sometimes I have gowns that I aren't in the store, but Patti is able to order them directly from the designers in the size you need. I have not created a custom gown (not yet at least), but I have many friends who have done it and have been so happy when they get their gown in. Glam Squad also has Glam Girl Ambassadors which are young women who mode and represent the store for the year. What I love that all these women are different ages, race/ethnicities, and come from all over Arizona. I always recommend Glam Squad to anyone looking for their next pageant gown, prom dress, military ball gown, interview outfit, wedding dress, or special event. read more

I'm surprised to see several negative reviews when I had such a positive experience! Honestly, the reviews almost drove me away from this place initially, but I'm so glad they didn't! Each time I've gone in, the owners are always very sweet and helpful. I didn't experience a snobby attitude or judgement from anyone there. I even went in without an appointment and tried on about 10 different dresses. I was shopping for a military ball gown and no other store in AZ offers such a wide selection of beautiful formal and couture gowns. I found the perfect dress for the ball and I was even able to put it on layaway until I was ready to pick it up. I'm so glad I found this place and I will definitely be returning for all my future military ball gowns! :) read more

Glam Squad is filled with the BEST selection of designer dresses (Sherri Hill, Mac Duggal, Johnathan Kayne, Jovani, etc.) with the most beautiful variety of styles and colors to appeal to many different preferences! Glam Squad also has beautiful dresses that are less expensive than the big name designer but still display beautiful quality and are suitable for people shopping on a budget (many designer dresses also get marked down). Glam squad has a stunning array of jewelry and shoes as well. The owners have the kindest hearts and the staff is always enthusiastic and happy to help you find your perfect dress! My sister is getting married in the fall. I first emailed Glam Squad for some information about a dress I found on their website that she wanted to use for her bridesmaids. They responded quickly with the information I needed so I set up and appointment. After visiting many bridal stores in the area with no luck (no selection, horrible service or could not fit all of us) this store was a breath of fresh air. The bridesmaids are a wide variety of sizes and they easily found something for all of us. I just cant say enough good things about what a great experience this was and a great memory for my sister while getting ready for her big day. My daughter and I were exhausted from prom dress shopping and she was almost ready to give up - and then we found thankfully Glam Squad. They work by appointment only, so the shop was nice and quiet and the staff was very attentive. The best selection of dresses of anywhere else we shopped! My daughter narrowed it down to three dresses, so the lady suggested we try them all on again. That worked and my daughter's face was beaming when we left this store. My daughter was heartbroken when the dress she ordered online from a company we knew nothing about didn't get here in time for her prom. (lesson learned) We ran to Glam Squad because some of her friends recommended it. We didn't have an appointment but they let us walk in. Within 20 minutes, my daughter found 3 gowns that she loved and they were all less expensive than what I ordered online - which I loved. The staff was so fun and helpful and the selection is so great. We left with a dress and she'll be going to prom tomorrow night. Can't believe I had never heard of this place! We won't go anywhere else for gowns! After reading some of the other reviews, I think some people just aren't used to shopping for formal wear. The ladies here ask your budget, which they should, I don't want my daughter trying on anything I'm not willing to pay for! Also, formal dresses just run pretty small in size, so ignore the number and just get something that looks beautiful on you. The owner and her daughter are very knowledgable and helpful. Glam Squad is my favorite dress store I've ever been to! I've been shopping there for a few years now whether it's pageant or prom and I have always been treated with great customer service. I came here a few years ago for my prom dress and absolutely loved it! Now I shop here for all my pageant gowns, the ladies here are super helpful with finding a size that fits you (most designer gowns run small), any styles or colors you have in mind they'll help you find something that you're looking for. They even register your dress for a pageant or your school's prom so no one else will buy the same one even if it's a different color, they will not sell it. read more

First of all, I was on a very tight time line because we decided to elope in weeks. I jumped on Etsy and ordered what I thought would be the perfect veil with enough time to receive the item. But, when the veil arrived the shade of rose gold did not match my dress. I quickly notified Monique and asked what I should do. She immediately told me she could help me. She calmly explained she had a new color that might work and she could dye a new veil and add the metallic flakes and get it mailed before my date. The date I notified her was 6 days from my wedding date. She made it happen. The veil arrived the day of the ceremony before noon as promised and was absolutely perfect. I miraculously tracked it down as having been made by Cleo & Clementine, so I reached out to them and asked them about the possibility of making one for me. I actually assumed it would be way more expensive than it was, but the price (~$300 for cathedral length) was within my range. They worked with me via email to create my custom order, and it finally arrived tonight! My dress is also being custom made, so I don't have it yet, and therefore don't have any way of knowing how the veil with look paired with my dress. I imagine, though, that it will be perfect. It's the exact fabric I asked for, and I can't wait to see the end result. I'll definitely return to post photos after my wedding day!

It was such a comfortable vibe. Customer service was top tier--we asked if we could come a little early last minute, and they kindly accommodated us. Anna, who helped us, had great energy and shared fun facts about the design process and the history behind the fashion. They have a few different styles of dresses, but I would especially recommend it to a bride who likes a classic/timeless or boho look.
