Normally I don't right reviews. For this dental office, it was a must; as they should be acknowledged for their work. Taking COVID into consideration, they made sure to clean the pens provided and have a sterile environment. The office manager Gabby was very polite and kind at the front desk. I went for a cleaning and the hygienist Jen was nice and gentle while cleaning the teeth. If you have any nightmares going for a cleaning, no need to worry, Jen will take care of you without your teeth hurting. I had not been to the dentist in YEARS.. and I mean years! Primarily because I did not have insurance and it was expensive, also because I was avoiding it at all costs. However, now that I'm a little more financially stable, I forced myself to set up an appointment for a cleaning and whatever else I needed. I called on a Monday morning to schedule and appointment, no one answered so I left a message asking for a call back. They called me the following day (Tuesday) and were able to give me an appointment for Wednesday morning. I was very worried because, considering how long it had been since I'd been to the dentist, I knew my teeth weren't going to be in the best condition. Upon arriving, Sarah at the front desk was very nice and friendly and made me feel comfortable. I filled out a few forms on the iPad (very easy and quick) and shortly after Erica called me in. She was also very friendly and welcoming. We made small talk and she seemed genuinely interested in me as person, not just a patient. Dr. Darabi was professional, but friendly. She took the time to explain everything and didn't rush. She also made small talk with me. I have really bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, but I have FINALLY found a dentist that I feel comfortable with and trust. Dr. Darabi is professional, honest, and makes me feel that she truly cares about her patients. Sarah at the front office is super sweet and definitely helped ease my anxiety when we went over my dental care plan. She addressed my worries and concerns, and was on top of everything with checking my insurance. Erika, the tech/assistant is extremely kind, and took great care of me like family. My hygienist (I forget her name) was great as well, and made my teeth feel and look "refreshed". I am a new patient here since my last dentist tried to over-charge for unneeded services. The offices are located in cozy downtown Orange and the offices are very clean. The staff have been very friendly for the 8 or so visits from both myself and family. Dr. Kwon explains everything very well and has utmost integrity. I had him put on a crown but the first one had a minor issue. I would never have known but he showed it to me on the X-ray, as well as a few crowns that he did not do but we're not correct! He had a new one made and didn't hesitate to do the right thing! It's hard to find such integrity anymore. read more

I love the location of this practice. It's in old town orange so there are plenty of places to eat and drink after your appointment. Behind the practice are plenty of parking spots. The receptionist is very helpful and friendly. She was very knowledgeable when it came to insurance information and does her best to take care of the patients. She provides counsel according to what will benefit you on the long run. For me it was helpful for her to inform me on the difference between hmo and ppo. In addition to that she took her time to tell me how it affects the treatment costs I may need in the future. I can tell she takes pride in her work and does her best to help u feel welcome.
