Geeze been needing a window adjustment for about a year and just constantly being told next week and than not got back to. Was also informed the window is out of warranty. This window has been this way since install and not one we opened or used for a few months till after installment. Not even care if we have to pay for it, but please make a date and show up and fix it. This has dragged out so long. This is one of three windows that has needed adjustment. Not to mention all the plastic trim is coming off all the windows like the glue isn't sticking anymore. read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. I called for an estimate on a shower door and Mike came to the house. We decided to use them and scheduled another appointment for measuring because my husband wanted to make sure they got the angles right. The day of the appointment, my kids and I were home and suddenly Mike was in the hallway saying "HELLO?!?!" He let himself in the house! It was a bad decision, we didn't have a shower door for a month and a half!!!!!! It took 10 appointments to get our shower door 4 of which they never EVEN SHOWED UP for. They were very limited on their appointments and could only give us a range of times they could be here. We took many days/hours off work and rescheduled doctor's appointment to accommodate them. The worse part was waiting for hours FOUR TIMES with no phone call, no text and no response to our phone calls or texts. Mike finally told us he is Charlie's sub-contractor. He blamed the whole scheduling thing on Charlie. He said he told Charlie he couldn't make the appointments Charlie promised us. He even showed us some of the texts. Trying to get a hold of Charlie was a joke. He doesn't answer the office phone, Mike refused to give us Charlie's cell number and Charlie only responds via email. His excuses were: he has no cell phone reception and can only respond via email, he was in Florida, he was stuck in Mexico, etc. The first install was bad because they made the door too big. Mike said it was the mfg fault....my husband looked at the spec sheet, the mfg built exactly to the measurements Mike wrote on the sheet....no door. The second install, the angle was wrong. Mike blamed it on my husband! He was the one who came and measured TWICE.....no door! The third installation the door was the wrong size again. He actually blamed it on the wall this time, lol. My husband told him the wall was the same and hasn't moved....no door! The final install, my husband pointed out that the door gets stuck on the bottom when you open and close it. Mike said that was the way it was supposed to be! Since we hadn't paid our balance, my husband told Charlie we weren't happy with that. Charlie told my husband he would leave a new (thinner) sweep on our front porch and we can install and try that! Thank goodness that fixed the problem. But, what kind of warranty service are we going to get if we have a defect?? During the month and a half, my husband asked Mike why it took so long for the glass to come in and why it took so long to fix minor problems. Mike said this is Charlie's job and he is calling all the shots. He said if this was his job, it would have been done a long time ago!! I would definitely not recommend this company for their customer service, products, or sub-contractors. We paid a lot of money ($1,300) for a lot of wasted time and bad customer service. We had a couple of appointments with them, 2 times they had to reschedule, and when the guy finally came the first time he was 3 hours late and the second time he came in record time... only 28 minutes late. read more

10/2016 DO NOT USE THIS company! These people do VERY unprofessional work. While installing a window wall and shower door in our newly remodeled bathroom, the installer, Dan cracked the tile. We asked the owner, Charlie, to remedy the situation. He was rude, accusatory and unprofessional - supporting his employee over the disappointing experience of his customer. I have the emails to support that! Dan blamed us for the cracks; stating "they were already there." He further said words to the effect of he "installed the support brackets over the cracks." There are NOW two cracks - both radiate from the bracket installed by Dan.  He was completely untruthful.  Ask yourself, if the cracks had been there - would a professional install glass in a shower, a wet area, which would inevitably leak due to such weakened areas? OR more appropriately would he say "we need to wait until the cracks are fixed"?  There WERE NO cracks.   The cracked tile was not the only problem - Dan also scratched the large, beautiful stainless steel hinges and put ALL the screws in crooked - ALL OF THEM! The only way Charlie would allow any remedy was we HAD to have Dan do the repair- even after we told Charlie we didn't want him back in our house and respectfully asked for a different installer.  Seriously, if Grasshopper were truly competent, if they had any concern for customer service, if they really stood behind their work, I would be writing an entirely different review this morning.  Sadly, for us, and it appears many others, the work was bad, customer service was poor, their emails are unsettling - the whole experience was uncomfortable - to the extent we've hired someone else to repair the issues.  We DO NOT want these people back in our home - EVER - no matter the cost. I agree with other writers on this forum that "if I could give negative stars I would." Be suspect of the glowing recommendations. Save yourself the grief, save yourself the inevitable problems that WILL arise - just save yourself from companies like Glasshopper! read more

Dana came out this morning (3/30/16) exactly when they said he would be at our home. Installed shower doors perfectly, without any problems or mess. He was a very nice and kind man, very polite and knew exactly what he was doing...a true professional!!! He was here a very short time and left.
