Bagel sandwich with bacon egg and cheese, add avocado
    Ben J.

Review is for delivery via ubereats. I ordered a bagel with egg cheese & bacon add avocado. Chose everything bagel (of course) and added a glazed old fashioned donut to the side for later. I thoroughly enjoyed everything! Order came on time and was correct. Having lived on the east coast for 8 years I try to keep expectations low for west coast bagels, and while this one wasn't 10/10 it was a solid 6 or 7, definitely not disappointing. I added a little hot sauce to the sandwhich after I got it and that jazzed it up significantly. I will say - it's a little pricy -- I think I payed $15.50 for the bagel sandwich with avocado which is a little crazy and I just couldn't bring myself to order the bagel with cream cheese and lox for $17.99. I know smoked salmon is expensive, but come on! We'll see if I'll order again, but I was pretty satisfied with my experience!

Bagel with Mayo, Egg, Mozzarella, Spinach and Mushroom

This little corner store is just a slice of heaven! They've got just about every bagel and croissant sammie covered here. I'm such a huge lover of sammies, especially breakfast sammies! I order the Croissant with Egg, Cheese, Bacon and Sausage w/added sprouts for a little veggie crunchy McMasterson action. Ooooooo! I love the way they cook the eggs; not full scramble but very clean, soft, super fresh. Their bacon is super crispy! I love that! It's so disappointing when you get super fatty, rubbery bacon and you're all trying to chew it off from the sammie and snaps back at you in angry revenge, hahaha. Not here! These lovely folks make it nice and crisp! The croissant was toasted nicely and all came together in such a great breakfast sammie. The other sammie I ordered was the Bagel with Mayo, Egg, Mozzarella, Spinach and Mushroom, yummy for next day breakfast. Their bagels are delish! Fresh ingredients and I must say this establishment knows how to perfectly cook breakfast sammies! I noticed they also sell chow mein noodles and egg rolls, but not on DoorDash app. Maybe, they will add those items to the DoorDash menu soon. Peeps are lovin' their donuts, too! The pics of them look great online. I will definitely come back again and again, it's that good! Give these awesome folks a try if you love sammies! You'll be hooked.

I go here often. I'm sure nutritionally, donuts aren't the best for you, but if you're going to be naughty with pastries and other treats and you're in the neighborhood, this place is a good bet. They serve all kinds of sandwiches and all kinds of drinks, so it's more than just a donut shop. There's a guy by the name of Lee and he's the best, a kind man and I look forward to interacting with him. For that alone, I feel a sense of loyalty to this place just to support the joint. Okay, back to the donuts, I'm a bit of a donut junkie and I've tried donuts from all over the place. This place is pretty good and consistent. I'm betting you'll enjoy their donuts...and the rest of the food they serve.

By far the best donut shop I've been to. The cashier was so nice and patient as I looked thru their extensive menu. It is a small and cozy spot! My bagel was so delicious!!

I can't believe I haven't wrote a review for this place yet. Best breakfast sandwich spot, period. I love getting the turkey bacon avocado on a croissant with red onions. Makes my mouth water every time. The egg bacon cheddar bagels are good. Cream cheese jalapeño turkey bacon bagels also goes crazy. There's so many options and you can customize to your liking. They also offer donuts & pastries, coffees, smoothies, etc so you're bound to find something that suits you. Wait times in store can be a little lengthy, if you don't feel like waiting call ahead or order on doordash! Small hole in the wall local shop, go support! CASH ONLY!!!

Half dozen donuts ($6.99) + jalapeño bagel w/cream cheese ($3.5)
    Vanessa O.

Huge, fluffy bagels; fluffy donuts with good amount of glaze. Easy delivery. My new go-to donut delivery spot. Bagel w/cream cheese ($3.5) - jalapeño bagel has jalapeño bits mixed into the bagel dough, rather than atop the bagel like most other spots. Not spicy, but decent flavor. Bagel has a wide diameter and is very light and fluffy, unlike the typical dense bagels you find at most bagel spots. I love carbs, so I might prefer more dense bagels. But I can see how this variation is more practical for bagel sandwiches. Donuts were light and fluffy and hit the spot. Chocolate glazed raised donuts, yum. $7/half dozen. Pass on donut holes, the oil taste is prevalent.

I've been looking for a place in town that delivers the same type of meals I'd find in Katz's (nyc), and Wise Sons is good!!! The bread was on point, not soggy at all even though this particular sandwich comes with coleslaw inside (I loved the sweetness of the slaw with the Russian dressing). The corned beef was spectacular. And I also liked their potato salad very much. You can bet I'll be ordering again from this place.

Weirdly, I often have egg-salad sandwiches on my mind, even though I know they can be gross. I've had plenty of egg-salad disasters, sandwich and otherwise, and I'm normally a very gun-shy person, but if a place has egg salad on its menu, I'll probably order it. Wise Sons always has egg salad on its menu. The problem is that it didn't have any egg salad on hand the first two times I came here.* Whatever I had instead, both times (and I had something different each time) was delicious. I don't know why I haven't tried the latkes yet. I guess I'm not a very wise son. The place is old school and feels perfect inside. It won't transport you magically to the past like many killer authentic interiors will, but it's very easy to imagine what the inside of this store looked like in 1941 or whenever. There was never more than one other person dining in each time I came. Maybe it's because I came so late in the day? More people would make it feel like a convivial breakfast destination. Empty, it feels like a good place with good food. Yes, it's overpriced, especially with all the delicious food you can get for cheaper within a few doors of this business on 24th Street in the Mission. But Wise Sons. It's a thing, a thing I'm glad I got wise to. *Did they sell out? Just didn't bother to make it? Who orders egg salad in the 2020s, anyway?

My wife and I were meeting someone in San Francisco in the afternoon and we wanted to eat lunch beforehand. We were interested in trying Wise Sons Deli since we have heard so many people praising it. Since we were coming into the city via BART, this location was great. The ambiance is pretty basic; ordinary tables and chairs and only some photos on one wall. You order and pay at the counter and then someone will deliver the food to the table. If you want coffee or water it is serve-yourself. However, the food is fantastic! My wife ordered a corned beef Reuben sandwich ($18.50). It was thick and very tasty. I ordered a House Special Pastrami Reuben that had a smaller Reuben sandwich, french fries, a side of cole slaw, and a drink ($19.50). While it had half as much meat as the regular Reuben, it was still a good size. They make their own Pastrami and Corned Beef and it tastes great. Boichik doesn't skimp on the cream cheese - it was a very generous amount! However, I agree with some of the other reviews, the bagel itself was hard. I guess I should elaborate a little more for all y'all faithful Yelp readers. I tried a couple of different bagels at Noe Bagel. The sesame and everything bagels are both generously coated, with a beautiful outer crust that has just the right texture. The inside is soft and chewy. It's a classic New York-style bagel that will satisfy even your strongest bagel cravings. The mini bagels maintain that same excellence, just in a smaller form. Because of their size, the crust-to-center ratio gives you more of the micro-blistered snap that I love about bagels. Personally, I'd choose two or three minis over one regular bagel. The cream cheese is also excellent--well-balanced and smooth. My favorite is the blueberry cream cheese. It has just a hint of sweetness that brings out the richness and creaminess of the cheese. And, like many spots in San Francisco, they offer a sourdough bagel. It's quite different from their sourdough bread, but I enjoyed it. If you're visiting, I'd recommend giving it a try. For my everyday go-to, I'd stick with a classic sesame or plain bagel, but Noe Bagel has enough variety to keep things interesting if you want to switch it up regularly. As a bonus, they sell day-old bagels by the bag for $4. You can freeze them, eat them as-is, or repurpose them into bread pudding. You'll end up with an interesting dish thanks to all the different bagel varieties mixed together--but that's part of the fun!
