They had a nice draft and bottle selection of German beer. The food was delicious. The pretzel was scrumptious with 3 dipping sauces that were all good. I ordered the Jägerschnitzel, prepared breaded and pan fried like a Wienerschnitzel. It was cooked perfectly with the pork tender and thin. The red cabbage was great too. The warm German potato salad was not traditional. It tasted more like seasoned fried potatoes, but they were still good. My only suggestion would have been a little more gravy. My husband got the Maultaschen, which we had never had. It was a pasta filled with sautéed leeks & cheese, topped with asparagus, & mushrooms in white wine sauce...delicious. Everything was great!!!

I needed protein but it's ALL ABOUT THE BRETZEL (with fermented beer cheese, spicy Dijon, and better-than-butter chicken FAT). It's chewy and toasty and crusted in very fine flake salt - DIVINE! Hausgemachte Wurst (x2 wurst) - Weisswurst was smooth & slightly smoked, excellent with curry ketchup. Bratwurst was shorter & grilled, perfectly herby, although Dijon adds heat - needed because it was a little dry. Add-on Spatzle is comforting, a little charred, probably better with a Bock or Pilz (or CHZ PLZ!). To make it all go down EZ - the very best kraut I've ever had anywhere - rich with slight fruit (ACV?), and smooth like butter. It's warming winter food but still tasty AF in the sunshine.

The patio has a row of tables along the railing and not all can view the St John's bridge so we were excited to grab the corner spot with a view. There are covered tables which is great for when we return with Daisy, and if the weather isn't ideal. The food is plentiful and delicious; with the perfect beer selection to accompany. It's order at bar and your food will be delivered set up. The staff is friendly, kind and ready to assist. So glad we found this spot.

This is a great little place tucked near Cathedral Park. They have a lovely deck with partial views of the St Johns Bridge. The food is tasty but slightly more expensive for the atmosphere. This is a counter service restaurant, you order at the counter, they deliver to your table, but you're expected to bus your table. The bussing bins are slightly more involved than most places where you're expected to sort trash, utensils, cups, and plates into separate bins. On this trip we ordered the Berliner Currywurst and the Jaegerschnitzel. Both dishes were tasty and the service was friendly.
