My husband and I dug in our heels FOREVER, when it came to getting solar. There were all kinds of…read moresalespeople who came to our home on a monthly basis, and we just never had a real peace about being able to trust what we were being " sold", or told. My parents purchased solar from a HORRIBLE company that sounds a lot like 'SunFun'. After they passed away, and the house was sold...we were STILL making the monthly payments for over a year!!! That SunFun organization REFUSED to transfer the solar to the new homeowner, and eventually stopped taking or acknowledging our calls. It wasn't until we had to threaten the new homeowner with a lawsuit that SunFun finally transferred ownership. Due to this, we could not trust any of these solar companies...that is, until Kevin Bedard came to our home, and explained everything in great detail to my husband and I. He took the time to hear about our concerns, and he showed us how he truly cared. That same week, we spoke to two other families who shared their positive experiences about Ambrose Solar that made us feel that we would be in great hands. We had FINALLY FOUND A PEACE about getting solar on our home; KNOWING we would be in good hands, and we were ALL IN. It's been six months now, and we are beyond pleased with our solar panels, and the two Tesla batteries we have purchased. We are true fans, who have NOTHING but RAVE REVIEWS for this company. If you don't have solar, or if you need to add solar, Kevin Bedard is your man! and Ambrose is your company. Every employee has been amazing and helpful. In a world where customer service has taken a dump, this company has remained a class act. So again...if you are considering solar, call Ambrose, and tell them Albert and Rhonda sent you.

The financing was straightforward and transparent, and the Tesla powerwall was easily installed and comes with an app that makes everything easy to track. The aftercare was great, everything was explained to me in detail. I cannot recommend Ambrose Solar enough.

When this first happened, my system wasn't producing any solar power at all. Since then I've had multiple technician visits, a lot of emails and text messages, and the same problem keeps coming back. After a technician comes out it might work for a day or two, then the production drops again. Months later, it's still not producing what it should. To be fair, communication was actually pretty good in the beginning. My emails were answered quickly and appointments were scheduled. But as time went on, the responses became slower and slower. I found myself having to send follow up emails just to get updates. At one point I was told they would keep me posted about the next appointment. After more than three weeks without hearing anything, I had to follow up myself. The next appointment wasn't offered until after I reached out. One thing that really frustrated me was being told my system looked fine because there were no alerts. That was hard to understand when the system was clearly not producing like it had before all of this started. I even explained that it would seem to work after a technician visit, then the production would drop again shortly after. After months of dealing with the same issue, I asked for my case to be escalated to management. That request wasn't even acknowledged. No one responded to it. No manager reached out. It was like I never even asked. The whole time this has been going on, I've still been making my monthly solar payment while also paying higher PG&E bills because my system isn't producing what it should. I have every email and text message saved from this whole process. This wasn't one bad appointment or one repair that didn't work. This has been months of temporary fixes, waiting for the next appointment, then finding out the problem still isn't fixed. At this point I honestly wish I could have the whole system removed and get my money back. I never expected buying solar to turn into something this frustrating. I gave Citadel every opportunity to make this right. I was patient because I know things can go wrong. After months of dealing with the same issue, I finally decided it was time to share my experience

Upon review of all the estimates, not the lowest, nor the highest, they were chosen due to their history in the community, reviews, and BBB standing. In addition, they could meet the assigned deadline. We were placed on the schedule for February 10th. My prayers were there would be no rain until February 14th or 15th. We almost made it, however the rain came pouring down on the 10th and 11th. Thursday, February 12th dawned full of sunshine and the tear out commenced. Additional work was uncovered which unfortunately, yet understandably increased the price. Work continued, the city inspector, approved, and the tiles were installed. As the weekend approached so did an impending storm. The team returned Saturday, February 14th which meant they were with us and not their Valentines. Thank you!! The roof was completed before the storm and we've had several days of rain to test it out. No leaks!!! Johnathon, Ray, Omar, and the double crew were friendly, thorough, and left the job site clean each day. Excellent job and the roof looks amazing. Highly recommend Roofmasters.

Thank you to Dan Moran, our project manager, who was always available whenever I called with answers or solutions. Dan has a very calm demeanor and an easy flow in explaining different processes and how the system and the app work. I really appreciated Juan Carlos, our electrician. In addition to upgrading our panel, he had to do a couple of hole patches in our wood siding , which is out of his general scope of work , but did a nice job at it. Juan was very thorough and I appreciated his cleanup when he was done. There was no scraps of wire, electric tape, nothing left on the ground, which was very much appreciated. And as a side note, there are four houses on our street who have used Northern Pacific Power for their solar needs. Which I would think in itself, is a pretty good recommendation.

Five stars for the installation -- outstanding project manager and crew: responsive, punctual,…read moreprofessional, top-quality work. One star for the sales process. When we raised concerns, I believe the salesperson my partner dealt with wanted to make things right, but sales leadership stepped in, dismissed our concerns as unfounded, and offered nothing. Those concerns were (and still are): 1) Sketchy contract execution. NPP offers a 5-year prepaid lease in partnership with Balto Energy. It lets homeowners offset installation costs because the leasing company collects a 30% federal tax credit (no longer available to homeowners) and, in NPP's words, "monetizes that tax credit over 5 years." The contract was executed by sending the DocuSign to just one partner, with all owners lumped onto a single signature line -- one person signing on behalf of the other. For a married couple in California, that's legally questionable under community property law, given a) the encumbrances placed on jointly owned property, and b) no power of attorney authorizing one spouse to sign for the other. I never saw the agreement until installation was underway. 2) Misleading claims. My partner was told, verbally and in writing, that we'd "own the system outright" at the end of the 5-year term. In truth, the contract contains only vague language about a fair-market-value buyout, with no detail on how to initiate it or who to contact at end of lease. We've had zero contact with Balto through this entire process -- only NPP -- yet NPP's sales director told us they have no role in the lease agreement once it's signed. In other words, they don't stand behind the product they sell. Don't be like us -- do your diligence (especially if you're over 65 and new to solar leases), verify every claim against the actual contract language, and make sure all owners review and sign every agreement.

The Absolute Best Solar Experience in Solano County!…read more If you are living near the Vacaville Junction area and shopping for solar, look no further than Westhaven Power. They completely outperform the massive national companies because they use their own professional, local technicians who genuinely care about their customers. The exceptional service started right away with Kelly. I had three other solar companies come out, and they all felt like pushy salespeople. On top of that, Westhaven was the only company out of all of them that could offer a system built with high-quality, US-made solar equipment. Kelly visited us twice just to take the extra time to explain every single detail, look at our actual usage, and answer our questions transparently. His patience and thoroughness are the exact reasons we chose Westhaven. The installation process was just as flawless. The crews led by Jarret and Chris were incredibly organized, professional, and kept everything moving smoothly. Huge shoutout to David, Mike V., Tyler L., and Brandon for the incredible, clean craftsmanship. The panel layout looks sleek, and they hid all the ugly conduit lines completely out of sight. They even went above and beyond by offering to haul away my bulky waste, saving me from having to pay for a separate trash removal service. The system they engineered works beautifully, effortlessly handling our brutal Solano County summer heatwaves. It features an incredible, US-made Enphase Energy backup battery system that manages peak-shaving flawlessly, dropping our high electric bills down to the bare minimum utility connection fees. It is a massive relief dealing with a local team where every single person--from sales to the final power-on--takes such pride in their work. From Kelly's detailed education to the extra-mile service by Jarret, Chris, and the crew, the entire experience was perfect. Request this exact crew if you want the job done right!
