The result: (1) $250 for the initial visit, nonrefundable (2) The repairman said that parts would be needed. He said it would be best to just replace the second unit. (3) He proposed $450 to fix one of them + several weeks' wait for parts Then we had GLOBO out. The result: (1) $120 for the initial visit (2) They repaired both doors on the spot, without extra parts!! (3) Total bill: $350. These guys know their stuff, they are honest and quick. I was looking for a repairman to fix my washing machine on the YELP website ( Mind you, another technician from another company came to my apartment and told me a different type of diagnosis ) I decided to look for other options for repairman. I found GLOBO on YELP and was able to get the same day mid afternoon appointment. Technician who came out to my apartment was on time, got me a quote and was knowledgably about what the problem was with the washing machine. Our Thermador dishwasher gave out on a Thursday night. I called around on a Saturday to get some some help. Many companies were outrageously priced or two weeks out with their openings. GLOBO picked up the phone right away and the repairman was out in an hour. They sent a technician that pulled my stove out, took back panels off, then scrolled on his phone for 40 minutes! I asked what he was doing and not sure if he couldnt hear me because he had an earpiece in or what the problem was.... but he barely replied! After about and hour he says the main board is out. Of course, the most expensive part! He writes up an order, but when he goes to have me sign it it says if it's not the main board I still had to pay for it! $360! Says board cost was $196, it's $135 at Sears with 10% discount they offer! He never tested harnesses! all the electronics work, all four burners work, stove and broiler light, come on for about 10 seconds then go out. Not sure how he knew it was main board. He was barely communicating with me. I was told on phone repairmen had most parts on their "trucks". He arrived in a small white SUV! Don't waste your time and hard earned money on this outfit! * possibly some of their crew is skilled, but that was not my experience. * when I texted a complaint and told them I'd be giving a bad review, they threaten me with a lawsuit read more

I booked an appointment via yelp & the GLOBO tech was able to come the same day, which I really appreciated. I was a little nervous about the appointment because after I made the appointment, I saw some of the unfavorable reviews. However, my experience was great. Gennadiy was the name of the tech who came. He accurately diagnosed the problem: a scarf I was washing with my laundry got sucked below my washing machine agitator & tore up the agitator, leaving plastic pieces from the agitator all over my washing machine & laundry. The agitator had to be replaced. He told me that because of the cost (over $500), we would be better off to buy a new washing machine, which what we did. A week prior, another company had come to assess the problem & did not diagnose the problem correctly, incorrectly telling me that I must have dropped something plastic in the machine & that is where the plastic pieces in the washer came from. He never bothered to remove the agitator to determine the true case. Especially because another company diagnosed the problem incorrectly, I really appreciated that GLOBO got it right. As such, I do recommend them and will call them again if I have any further appliance issues. read more

To add to my previous review... this company told me that the brackets the hold the dryer to the washer were broken but the company looking at it right now, just confirmed that they are nor broken. It looks more and more like they just took my money to 'diagnose' the problem, lied about all that was wrong then finally refused to fix it. read more

They responded to my request very quickly and provided a good rate. They were able to come to my house on a Sunday to diagnose the problem with my Viking refrigerator. GLOBO diagnosed the issue with my microwave and charged me $75. After that, they were unwilling to actually repair the unit, despite the fact that the manufacturer would send them the necessary part for free, under warranty. So they were happy to take my $75, but refused to actually repair the unit. Avoid if you don't want to get scammed. read more

Came to fix my ice maker. The first one flooded my freezer.. Had I not been home, it would have ruined my floors. Then they came out again and that ice maker only worked to fill up once. We don't use ice frequently so when I noticed it didn't refill, they refused to come back and fix it. It have been 28 days after the repair. My 10-year old built-in Bosch wall oven was taking a long time to pre-heat and some heating functions weren't working. John quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, the necessary part is no longer manufactured, and even if it were, the likelihood of other things going wrong within 6 months is quite high. He honestly told me that the lifespan of an oven is about 10 years. Trying to repair it would be costly and only short-term at best. I appreciated his honesty. 2021-08-26 I contact online with these RIP off Guys to fix my dishwasher from BOSCH. as it has a draining issue. They came in and I dont know why they change the motor ? and tell us its fixed and charged me $263 and I pay as committed The next day same issue water not draining. Naturally I get frustrated and call them to fix a very rude person pickup the phone also blaming us they we did something wrong. Then he tell me I will come and fixed tomorrow.
