Unorganized situation. Told by door crew we could stand out of the way & have drinks. Stools were shortly opening up. While. Standing server with her arms full of food comes by to question why we were there & how did we get past door people. We explained we had spoken to them. However when we got there and throughout our dinner there was plenty of tables available. The prices were very high for the amount of food/drinks you get. Lovely dinner at the bar while in Jackson! We had a nice sampling of menu items-- crudo, meatballs, and a delicious homemade pasta with a kale pesto. They told us that we needed to sit outside while we wait for a table and a server came out and took drink orders for quite literally every single person out there, including the people that were sharing a table with us, except for me and my loved one. I was so excited to come to Glorietta, I booked so far in advanced. An emergency happened a couple of hours before and ended up having to go to urgent care right before our reservation. I tried calling more than 5 times, messaged on Instagram and emailed to try and move it to later in the week. I never got an answer and a few days later got charged the $150 for no show fee. Worst restaurant experience I've have in a long time. I've lived in Jackson for 15 years and always recommended this spot. They used to have to best food in town. Management was extremely rude. Server was doing the best she could under the circumstances. I may even report them to better business bureau. They over charged us and wouldn't even speak to me about the discrepancies. I wish I could give this place a good review because I send people there all the time but now I regret sending my friends and loved ones to the establishment. Hopefully they change management and get it back to where it used to be. This is my first bad review for a restaurant in my whole life and it hurts me to do it. Being from NYC, the best compliment I can give is that this place would fit right in with some of the better Italian spots in New York. Service and food were both outstanding. We sat at the bar and Itai served us. From the moment we sat down, he went out of our way to feel welcome. The Manhattan and old fashioned were phenomenal. We then ordered the bone marrow to start which was surprisingly big and chased it down with a wine luge. We then ordered the elk bolognese and the spicy vodka which were perfectly portioned and very good. I was very excited to try this place and booked the reservation for my birthday dinner after reading all the great reviews. The night started off great service at first was fast and then went downhill unfortunately. The whipped ricotta toast, crudo and elk bolognese were the highlights of the night. I do not recommend getting the bison filet it was very very dry my sides also never came with the main and the food ended up getting cold. The waiter was nice and took it off the bill but I still expected more after all the great reviews and I had high hopes as I spent my birthday dinner here and it didn't feel special at all. The donuts were heavy, thick and came with an apple cider vinegar sauce that was sour not sweet I don't recommend. Went here on a group ski trip to Jackson Hole. Food was good but very pricey for Jackson Hole. Immediately the hard sell on the food and wine! I found out waitress to be very annoying and she was constantly bothering us. When she gave us the check she said "I haven't charged the normal 20% gratuity on your bill as i trust you". We thought the portions were a little small, but this is a very affluent town and people eat less or they do 2-3 courses. Food is AMAZING!! And I've been to Italy. The pasta was so rich and flavorful. Loved my experience there. However, I unfortunately do not recommend the Reggiano Gin cocktail. If you have a more refined palette than I do, you might like it. Just a lot of different, unique flavors, especially with cracked black pepper on top. This was a risky move for me anyways. We first visited Glorietta Trattoria when in Jackson last year, based on a recommendation from Alpine House where we were staying. We loved it so much we ate there I think 3 times during our trip, and looked forward to eating there again on our trip this year. But we will never go back. I left a message Friday to see if we could get a reservation that night. The host called back a few hours later and said she could get us in at 5 or 5:30. I told her we were in Yellowstone and couldn't get back before 6. The only slot she had available was 8, so we grabbed it, and killed time while waiting for our dinner reservation. When we got there, our name wasn't on the list, and when I pulled up the confirmation email (which I hadn't seen because we had no signal for several hours), I saw that it had been made for the 19th. The host said that she was the one I had spoken with, and that I had said the 19th. What?? I left a message seeking a reservation for that evening, and on the phone had a discussion with her about our being in Yellowstone and unable to get back to Jackson for a few hours. She was (rudely) adamant that the mistake was on my part and said the best she could do was add us to a list to be seated later that evening. Look, everyone makes mistakes. But her interaction with us was ludicrous. She was arrogant and unhelpful, unwilling to consider that the mistake was hers. Very disappointing.. read more

My husband and I last minute decided that we were going to go out to dinner, we didn't have reservations made anywhere, but were hopeful to get a spot at Glorietta. The staff was so accommodating and put us on a waitlist to get a seat at the bar, as they didn't have any tables available. While we waited they served us cocktails outside on the patio, this was such a nice gesture. When we got seated at the bar we were greeted by the friendliest bartender who broke down everything on the menu perfectly for us. We ended up going with the bone marrow appetizer which was one of the most phenomenal dishes we have ever eaten as well as the crostini for another app. We chose to share the elk bolognese for our main dish, this also knocked our socks off! My friend made a reservation at Glorietta and I was expecting an average Italian dinner, but my expectations were blown away with the most amazing Italian dinner I've ever had. To start with the cocktails were on point although on the higher price point. Anything with ricotta on this menu was to die for. The crostini appetizer was the group favorite. We also had the butternut squash as an appetizer and it was phenomenal. We ordered the bone marrow with a wine luge. We were not expecting to do a luge at a fancy Italian restaurant but it was amazing. The sommelier Adam gave us the perfect rec for our bold red wine. We ordered three pasta dishes family style: cassarecci, fusilli (vodka sauce), rye cavatelli (elk bolognese). While all were amazing the cassarecci was the best. Next we shared the pork belly, bison with sides of the winter greens and Yukon potatoes. The winter greens were my personal favorite. The bison was on the dry side and the pork belly was a small portion but still delicious. I would pass on the Yukon potatoes next time. Overall our service was spectacular. Our Grand Finale in Jackson! My family enjoyed a 2-week stay in Jackson Hole and based on the great reviews, decided to save Glorietta's for last. We were so incredibly glad we did as out of ALL of the great restaurants in Jackson, Glorietta's was by far and away the best. Our waitress (Victoria?) was fantastic, very attentive, understanding of our two young children and exceeded every expectation. I had the NY Strip, which was honestly one of the best steaks I've ever had. My wife had a salad and one of their many amazing pastas and was not disappointed.
