Oh my goodness, how much a place can change. The servers are incredibly attentive even the new ones so the training by the management must be awesome. Beer is cold. Food is hot specials are truly special. overall vibe is a nice neighborhood grill. They are returning the patio to Life, which is such a great way to unwind after work cold beer outside fresh air . Of course it's always better with a fantastic nachos.

    CHEESE FRIES

My buddies and I decided to come here after golf. We've been coming to glory days since we could walk basically with our families. Yesterday we ordered a full order of cheese fries for 11.99, and this was the portion size. Times can't be this tough, small portion size and an overall underwhelming presentation. A few of my buddies ordered boneless wings for $12.99, I compared the portion size of those to equivalent to about 7-8 Dino Nuggets from Costco. I got 10 traditional wings and they were pretty good so I would recommend going for those. Let's be better Glory and bring back the good days #DK

Stephanie was a great bartender and the cheese fries were outstanding as always. Nice mix of regulars and non-regulars.

Yikes... what happened to my favorite place to eat when I visit home? Used to make all my friends get together to get wings and max and cheese fries here every year when I visited. Used to work at this location years back. Took myself to lunch today and ordered 12 wings, cheese fries. Mac n cheese and a piece of a cornbread and the only thing that came out even somewhat appetizing was the cornbread. The wings didn't even look correct. Rubbery, no crisp, none of the sauce on the wings, just in a puddle under them. The mac was cold and soupy, the extra shredded that is added by the server on top as garnish didn't even melt because it wasn't warm enough. The cheese fries probably would have been fine but I was just grossed out after trying one bite of the wing so I left. The service was fine no one was rude, but I just came to eat. Waste of 42 bucks, and a bummer first meal back in VA.

Stopped here while driving to Virginia from Philadelphia and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the wings and fries were! There were a few things on the menu that sounded really good. Also tried the strawberry lemon crush drink which was really good! Wishing I lived closer now!

Glory Days in Gainesville, VA IS AMAZING! Food is consistently on~point & service is impeccable. Duty to a high influx of curbside orders at this specific location, I had the pleasure of meeting Wayne, the Manager On Duty, who, hands down, took incredible care overseeing/ensuring 100% accuracy w/my pick~up order. Mr. Wayne was incredibly professional, gregarious, a gentleman & everything a corporation could want & ask for in an employee. To the higher ups of Glory Days, Mr. Wayne is a KEEPER, trust me!!! Mr. Wayne, a BIG THANKS from Mia.

I was here the first of February 2020, the restaurant across the parking lot was closed. I had just flown in from Utah and was hungry & dying for a drink. This place totally surprised me, it's the best sports bar I've ever been in and I travel 12 month of the year all over the US. The beer was local and great, the bar tender was lovely and on point and I honestly can't say enough about the spaghetti. This was by far the best spaghetti I've had in a restaurant in years and years. It was so good I said I had to get back over there before I leave town. Thanks for a excellent meal, wonderful service in a clean and fun environment. Highly recommend.

Mike our bartender was wonderful, the drinks and the food was great, I love coming here because it's a feeling of worm welcoming and it's feels like I'm visiting a friends place.

Stereotypical decor and menu, Grains and Grog stood painfully empty on a Saturday afternoon playing music nostalgic to anyone who graduated high school before 2010. I ordered a Manhattan. Hallway through, looking down at the bottom of the glass, I saw two tiny flies floating at the bottom. As disgusted as one can reasonably be, I asked for another one to be made (why I bothered, I can't say. Maybe it was because I had already drank half). I found another small fly in the second before the server left the table. Another fly in the third as well. We didn't finish our meals for obvious reasons. They brought us the check, discounted the manhattans and 50% the check, though I didn't feel I should have paid anything. After paying the check, they said it was a mistake. They brought us the wrong one and would void the sale. The "correct" check they brought us was the full meal sans the 3 botched manhattans. We won't be going back

We are from Seattle so thrilled for the Seahawks! They simply dominated this whole season and especially last night! Keep up the good work, boys! This place is very nice has lots of overhead tv with a large dance hall and prominent stage for bands to play. Service or lack their of a definite issue especially at checkout, I gave a good tip and I said thank you, the staff did not even acknowledge-we were so happy with our experience- both watching the game and the band-but definitely dampened by the unfriendly staff at checkout. What's with the ´titude? We did not order food. We ate at UJ before coming here. When we arrived-place was full-and then this nice gentleman offered to share the extra chairs in his table which was really kind-it did set the great mood & vibe but not by the staff workers but rather of the good patrons to this place-and yes, drinks my hubby had were pricey $24 each time, he was charged 8 drinks so not sure about that-oh well, it was a fun night-well worth game watching the Seahawks play against SF and seeing the Reflex at the same time! Because we visit regularly, I wanted to share some constructive feedback about our recent experiences. While the food has often been very good, lately it seems that consistency has become an issue. During our most recent visit, I ordered the Chicken Alfredo. When it arrived, the sauce had an orange tint rather than the usual creamy Alfredo appearance. After taking a few bites, it tasted much more like macaroni and cheese than Alfredo. I mentioned this to our server, who was kind and professional, but he assured me that it was the Alfredo sauce and explained that the mac and cheese sauce is packaged separately. As someone who frequently orders both Alfredo and mac and cheese, I felt confident that what I received did not taste like a traditional Alfredo sauce. While this experience was disappointing, I want to emphasize that our server handled the situation courteously, and we still left a good tip because the service was not the issue. I am sharing this feedback because my family enjoys coming to BJ's and would like to see the food quality and consistency match the high standard of service that keeps us returning. We ordered the steak dinner, avocado egg roll appetizer, and wings. The steak came out well done even though we'd asked for medium rare. The vegetables that came with it were overcooked and a bit too mushy. The flavor was okay. The avocado appetizer was a bit bland, but it was also very mushy. It needed something inside it texturally to add some element of chewiness to it. The dipping sauce that came with it did help with the flavor quite a bit. The wings were well cooked, not too crispy and not dried out. They actually must have come right out of the fryer because they were incredibly hot when I got them, and the waiter did warn me about that. I had them with the dry rub which was quite flavorful. The service was okay. I think we waited a bit too long for the appetizer to come out and to have water refilled. The server himself was friendly. I would recommend making a reservation if you're going on a weekend. I was very surprised how crowded it was and there was a line waiting to get a table the entire time we were there.
