Just bought dinner to go and came home. The plaster wrap was still on the rack of ribs. It was all cooked together. I don't think this is a smart way to keep in the juices! The other food was fine. So we give two stars for this visit.

    CHEESE FRIES

My buddies and I decided to come here after golf. We've been coming to glory days since we could walk basically with our families. Yesterday we ordered a full order of cheese fries for 11.99, and this was the portion size. Times can't be this tough, small portion size and an overall underwhelming presentation. A few of my buddies ordered boneless wings for $12.99, I compared the portion size of those to equivalent to about 7-8 Dino Nuggets from Costco. I got 10 traditional wings and they were pretty good so I would recommend going for those. Let's be better Glory and bring back the good days #DK

Stephanie was a great bartender and the cheese fries were outstanding as always. Nice mix of regulars and non-regulars.

Yikes... what happened to my favorite place to eat when I visit home? Used to make all my friends get together to get wings and max and cheese fries here every year when I visited. Used to work at this location years back. Took myself to lunch today and ordered 12 wings, cheese fries. Mac n cheese and a piece of a cornbread and the only thing that came out even somewhat appetizing was the cornbread. The wings didn't even look correct. Rubbery, no crisp, none of the sauce on the wings, just in a puddle under them. The mac was cold and soupy, the extra shredded that is added by the server on top as garnish didn't even melt because it wasn't warm enough. The cheese fries probably would have been fine but I was just grossed out after trying one bite of the wing so I left. The service was fine no one was rude, but I just came to eat. Waste of 42 bucks, and a bummer first meal back in VA.

Stopped here while driving to Virginia from Philadelphia and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the wings and fries were! There were a few things on the menu that sounded really good. Also tried the strawberry lemon crush drink which was really good! Wishing I lived closer now!

Glory Days in Gainesville, VA IS AMAZING! Food is consistently on~point & service is impeccable. Duty to a high influx of curbside orders at this specific location, I had the pleasure of meeting Wayne, the Manager On Duty, who, hands down, took incredible care overseeing/ensuring 100% accuracy w/my pick~up order. Mr. Wayne was incredibly professional, gregarious, a gentleman & everything a corporation could want & ask for in an employee. To the higher ups of Glory Days, Mr. Wayne is a KEEPER, trust me!!! Mr. Wayne, a BIG THANKS from Mia.

I was here the first of February 2020, the restaurant across the parking lot was closed. I had just flown in from Utah and was hungry & dying for a drink. This place totally surprised me, it's the best sports bar I've ever been in and I travel 12 month of the year all over the US. The beer was local and great, the bar tender was lovely and on point and I honestly can't say enough about the spaghetti. This was by far the best spaghetti I've had in a restaurant in years and years. It was so good I said I had to get back over there before I leave town. Thanks for a excellent meal, wonderful service in a clean and fun environment. Highly recommend.

Mike our bartender was wonderful, the drinks and the food was great, I love coming here because it's a feeling of worm welcoming and it's feels like I'm visiting a friends place.

Stereotypical decor and menu, Grains and Grog stood painfully empty on a Saturday afternoon playing music nostalgic to anyone who graduated high school before 2010. I ordered a Manhattan. Hallway through, looking down at the bottom of the glass, I saw two tiny flies floating at the bottom. As disgusted as one can reasonably be, I asked for another one to be made (why I bothered, I can't say. Maybe it was because I had already drank half). I found another small fly in the second before the server left the table. Another fly in the third as well. We didn't finish our meals for obvious reasons. They brought us the check, discounted the manhattans and 50% the check, though I didn't feel I should have paid anything. After paying the check, they said it was a mistake. They brought us the wrong one and would void the sale. The "correct" check they brought us was the full meal sans the 3 botched manhattans. We won't be going back

Service or lack their of a definite issue especially at checkout, I gave a good tip and I said thank you, the staff did not even acknowledge-we were so happy with our experience- both watching the game and the band-but definitely dampened by the unfriendly staff at checkout. What's with the ´titude? We did not order food. We ate at UJ before coming here. When we arrived-place was full-and then this nice gentleman offered to share the extra chairs in his table which was really kind-it did set the great mood & vibe but not by the staff workers but rather of the good patrons to this place-and yes, drinks my hubby had were pricey $24 each time, he was charged 8 drinks so not sure about that-oh well, it was a fun night-well worth game watching the Seahawks play against SF and seeing the Reflex at the same time! Omg so many thoughts on this experience…read more I'm so glad i didn't immediately know it was a restaurant located in a hotel. This prob would have deterred me, even a little bit. The Apple map directions here confused me a little due to this, but parking was really plentiful so that's a huge plus! I went on a Sunday morning and lo and behold there was a hole farmers market or pop up set up all through haymarket! Busy weekend for a brunch but haymarket is SUCH a cute little vibe and town with so many hidden gems, like this one!! Literally every single item I saw waiters bring out from the kitchen looked so scrumptious, every person around us immediately began digging in and enjoying their meals...and honestly, no crumbs were left behind pretty much every time. We started ordering a yummy cocktail. I was really in the mood for the Paloma with grapefruit juice but sadly they were out of grapefruit juice fortunately, they had plenty cocktails available that were not explicitly on the menu! I ended up having a delicious espresso martini, prepared, right and honestly, I would have had another!! Not too sweet. Not creamy. And with 3 beans. Impeccable no notes. I ordered the red House breakfast. Man those home potatoes were so delicious....they clearly cooked them seasoned deliciously and then flash fried, so crunchy!!!! Amazing. I found that their execution on their meals was really impressive. My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly and paired so yummy with the toast. The bacon had delicious flavor too. I ordered a biscuit because I had heard that their biscuits were really yummy but unfortunately they did not have their bacon biscuit so it was just a classic biscuit. It was good, certainly dense and clearly homemade. My girlfriend got the poutine. Looked so delicious and was really enjoyed! The gravy was thick and flavorful! We sat down and enjoyed plenty of conversation and a really nice environment. Nobody rushed us, service was just the right amount of attentive without interrupting conversation constantly, and the floor to ceiling windows let in beautiful natural light and views of the town. It was the perfect brunch spot for a low-key, but delicious meal. Just a hair out of the way without being too far. I came out with a really good friend of mine to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with her and it was the perfect possible location. Shout out to the staff for being so welcoming and kind, and even taking a picture of us when we asked to commemorate the occasion.
