Went here again today and it is still really good. Seems that prices are high, but the prices are worth it. Certain items are more worth the prices than others. Expect sports bar style food. Apps are great and some are mid priced considering most places apps prices are outrageous these days. They have nice deals like half off burgers on Mondays (specialty burgers not included I think) and taco Tuesdays. I like the steak and cheese, 10 spice chicken is good, and the salmon is pretty good. I would say surprisingly that it is family friendly. Families are what seem to make up the majority. A lot of kids but that sort of thing doesn't bother me and it still seems to be a fun atmosphere. Not date friendly unless both of you are into the sports bar type atmosphere. Bar is great, fun for sports, and alcohol is above average in price. As far as service goes, I would say it is usually pretty good while on occasion you can get a moderately slow server. The server seems to have help at times which helps everything. They are friendly and do a good job. Hostesses are very welcoming and there is always someone there to greet you at the door. They seem like a little posse lol. This place is amazing!! My husband and I were just passing through and decided to stop and watch Sunday night football. We sat at the bar. The bartender called us by name the entire visit and recommend some very tasty drinks! The manager talked to us multiple times while we were there and made us feel like we were regulars! We have tried to have lunch at your establishment TWICE, yes twice, in the last couple weeks. Each time we came in, got seated and then nothing. Literally nothing. I've been here several times. Nothing special just one of the few places to get lunch in this area. Most recently I went with a friend on a Tuesday. The dinning room was probably less than 25% filled. We ordered our food around 12:15. About 30 min later the lady behind us asked our waiter if her food was ready...his reply...I'll check. It wasn't so we both canceled our orders and went to Quiznos instead. Poorly managed. Every has an excuse there for being slow. It seems like second nature for anyone to bring either food or drink to the table and start off by apologizing for being slow. Our waitress Meeka was excellent. She was extremely attentive and followed up throughout our dinner. Our food on the other hand was a nightmare on Elm Street. The appetizers we ordered set the tone for a horrific evening. Egg rolls on a scale from 1-10 was a 4 because they were not fresh, room temperature at best. Their signature dish (Chicken Wings) were absolutely disgusting. The French Fries that were included tasted like they were sitting under the Hott temp light for hours. We told our waitress and she ensured us that our meal would be fresh. Meeka kept her word about the food being fresh, but the flavor and seasoning tasted worse than the appetizer. No effort had been put into preparing our meal. The Philly cheesecake taste like it came from the freezer and had been microwaved, and my wife cheese fries were not at all cheesy; her "cheese fries" were more like fries with a slice of sandwich cheese laid on top. Save yourself the time and order a Salad if u must eat here... That's pretty hard to jack up. read more

The service here is always hit or miss and the food is mediocre at best. The last straw was when my iPhone was stolen there (I'm not accusing the staff). I tracked the phone to there and went back to retrieve it and no one could find it. After 29 minutes of looking for it I went home. The phone finder still showed the phone at the restaurant and when the restaurant closed I tracked the phone for over an hour then to a home close to my house. Stopped for family dinner here on the way to VA beach. We were hoping for a family friendly spot, but this place is definitely more sports bar than restaurant. Very dark place (open blinds on a sunny day could fix that). Service was glacial (when there was service) and they missed getting my daughters order, so we all ate and then waited for her to eat about a half hour later. Food quality was ok, although my wife would say I'm generous with this statement, since she didn't even finish half of her dish. This franchise is decidedly off our list. Management needs to decide if they are a sports bar for alcoholics that need to hide at 4 in the afternoon...or a family diner. They are mutually exclusive business models. read more

Their hell fire mac n cheese is awesome. it's consistently good every time I've gotten it, totally worth it. i always opt to sit on the patio when its nice and warm, but the bar area is nice too, gets pretty busy during peak hours. Love the manager Jose!! Being in the hospitality business for 6 years, I can tell genuinely friendly service and that guy has got it nailed! He was proactively going around to all the guests and making sure they were enjoying themselves and you could tell he truly enjoys what he does. We frequent Glory Days in Manassas often and I have nothing but good things to say about them. This location sucks! The hostess was the rudest person ever and these folks don't have a clue how to treat people with any kind of dignity. We tried to go eat there this evening. My husband, who is handicapped, my mother who is very elderly, and I wanted to go eat somewhere, it was to get my mother out as a treat. We walked in and after just a short wait they tried to seat us at a booth. Neither my mother nor my husband are able to get in a booth, it's pretty obvious. I told the young man that the booth wouldn't work and that we really needed a table. He walked back to the hostess station and just left us standing there. I had to walk back to see if I could find out what was going on. Meanwhile, my mother is desperately looking for somewhere to sit down because she's now been standing there for 10 minutes and she can't stand any more. I asked the hostess if they would be able to sit us at a table instead, she just looked at me blankly and then walked away to seat another family. Another hostess walked up and I asked her if they would be able to seat us at a table and explained that I was with 2 people that would not be able to sit in a booth. She started yelling at me about how she didn't have a table. I pointed out that there was a whole section of tables with no one at them. She nastily said they were taken and if I wanted a table I would have to wait an hour and a half. I was humiliated and at this point pretty frustrated. All she had to do is explain in a nice way that they wouldn't be able to accommodate us. Instead of communicating with us, they thought it was appropriate to leave us standing in the middle of the restaurant and then yell at us when we are trying to figure out what is going on. Both my husband and my mother were upset and people were just staring at us. You people are rude and I will never go there again. If I could give this place no stars I would the service is totally lacking every time I go there. When we order 9 times out of 10 it's wrong. The other day was the last straw. I waited at a table for 10 minutes and our server never showed and I could understand maybe if it was busy but, it was unimaginably slow to the point where the servers felt it was more important to watch the game that was on the TV. We have been there several times. The food is good and we love all the tvs, but from now on we just do take out. The services has been so slow every time. One time we had a waiter tell us "I'm deaf in one ear, so forgive me if I don't hear you.", which was fine (we couldn't understand why they would put him in the loudest area of the restaurant. That doesn't excuse never coming back to our table and checking on us. He took our order, someone else ran out the plates and we had to flag him down for the check. That is just one example. Our server, Lauren, was fast, very knowledgeable, had great suggestions when asked, and greatly enhanced a wonderful experience. Then there was Jose, the manager. He honestly loves this place and takes great pride how Corporate Glory Days takes care of the employees, how they encourage tailoring for local tastes, and had nothing but the best support. He honestly praised the owner! He gave us a sample of their Chipotle-Mayo, which was superb. Just the right amount of kick! At his suggestion, we also tried the Banana Bread Pudding, with real chunks of banana, made fresh! To say Glory Days is a great restaurant is a vast understatement. We stopped here while waiting for the Amtrak Auto Train and it was a very cool place. They had a decent selection of taps running and the bartender was outstanding. Loved everything about our experience at the Lorton location. Although they were very busy, waiting was okay; especially with the super friendly staff, manager and ultimately great food. Hubby and I had the steak and cheese sandwich with cheese fries (my favorite), steak/mashed potatoes, Tex mex egg rolls and banana pudding dessert. Our server Michael was very attentive and polite. And the manager even came over to offer a diff sauce for us to try with our fries. I have been to the Burke and Fairfax location and still think my food and customer service experience was best here. Glory days is such a wonderful place. From the bartenders big Miguel, little Miguel, David and Amanda to the mangers. Jose Beamon gets to know every customer. Not just your name but you as a person recently I stopped there on 14 June 2016 to met two other ladies that he knows and just from our looks he knew we had a bad day at work. Jose delivered to us the biggest smile and words of encouragement. All of us were overwhelmed that with out speaking to us he knew us and what we needed to hear to lift our spirits. If you ever get a chance go there burgers are juicy, wings just right and best damn clam chowder around but for nothing else go meet Jose and the staff. So, I decided to give Glory Days another shot. I went during a sports packed evening, so it was full of customers. A good test for the service. Francisco was our server. Got to us quickly. Got our orders quickly. He was running around like a mad man (NBA and NHL playoffs) to take care of his other tables but checked on us every 5 minutes or so. Truthfully felt like he was busting his chops, running back and forth, so the fact that his service to us didn't suffer is pretty nice. My girlfriend and I got boneless Glory wings. They were delicious. Regretted that I did not get more. Had already ordered my bison burger by then. The burger was great. Medium well. Juicy. Bleu cheese. Onions. Didn't need any sauce or ketchup! I subbed my fries for redskin potatoes and they were steaming fresh and had a nice rosemary and garlic taste. Overall the only critique I have is that (just like my last review) there were huge NHL and NBA games going on. And they were only playing on about 20% of screens. More than half the customers were obviously there for the Caps game. Maybe there's a TV policy that doesn't allow this. read more

My son loves Glory Days so took him to this location while working in area. We ordered steak sub and roast beef sandwich. Did they change their meat from other locations? The meat was so tough and fatty it was impossible to eat. They used the same cut of meat for both sandwiches. I've worked as a cook before and don't know how any self respecting chef could put this on the window. The wait staff was nowhere to be seen and the place was almost empty.
