The tofu satay with two toppings
    Akiko I.

A nice spot where the food is just top of the line. I got tofu satay cuz when can you ever get that at most Thai places and the HH edamame. My partner got tofu green curry which we shared and was just lovely. All were served in culturally authentic bowls, which is important to someone like me who doesn't make alot of Asian food at home cuz our ingredients can be so particular, you can't just walk into Trader Joe's or Westside to make them! Also, the thing about places that are at a slightly higher price point like Glur is that you don't have to share the room with a loud, student crowd which makes for a calmer, more romantic setting: 19th Street in that area is super chill which adds to the vibe. Can't wait for my next paycheck (heh) to go again.

    Fried chicken wings

Solid neighborhood spot. This is apparently a regular place for my sister so we got a couple of her usuals and then a couple of new things to try. It's a cozy little space with about 7 or 8 tables. The wait staff was efficient and nice. For food, we ordered a fried chicken wing off the specials menu that was probably my favorite thing of the night because the spices and sauce just contributed to an amazing burst of flavor. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of it. We also got a khao soi, pad see ew, and crab fried rice. They were all pretty solid and enjoyable. I will say the type of crispy noodles used in the khao soi was different than other khao soi's I've had before and wasn't my favorite texturally. My sister also said the crab fried rice had a lot less crab than before as she was unsuccessfully hunting for visible pieces of crab. Other than those two nits, it's a pretty good spot that I'd go back to.

    Crab Meat Fried Rice

This vegan-friendly Thai restaurant has a wide variety of classic Thai dishes, and many options for plant-based customers. It is quite small inside but a cute place for a quick meal. Their Thai iced tea is made with oat milk, but if I didn't know, I wouldn't be able to tell! The apps were alright! The Plant-based Dumplings were made with a vegetable filling to mimic the look and flavor of meat, but I think you can definitely tell the difference. The filling also kept falling out once I put my fork in it. The Golden calamari had a light crisp as the breading was a bit thin, but it still had good flavor with a mayo dipping sauce. I loved the amount of crab in the Crab meat fried rice and the spice level on the Pad kee moa noodles. It was chewy and packed with fresh shrimp! Of course, no Thai meal is complete without Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Theirs was quite good.

Massaman Curry with chicken, Pad Thai, Thai Tea

4/5 Thai Tea -- a bit on the sweeter side, standard richness of a classic thai tea 4.5/5 Curry Puff -- crisp flaky pastry, generous and flavorful filling 4.5/5 Green Curry- really enjoyed the flavor of their green curry, along side all the veggies in the dish with the jasmine rice. 4/5 Massaman Curry -- nothing to write home about but was tasty and hit the spot for a massaman curry craving 3.5/5 Pad Thai -- taste was overall too sweet, sauce was very liquidy, noodles erred on the softer side. Also note this restaurant is on the smaller side, maybe 6 tables total. We came on a weeknight around 6pm, and was lucky a group just finished their meal so there was no wait.

SERVICE - located in Chelsea near flatiron - small interior with some seating for groups of 2-4 and a few tables outside - many people doing takeout - service made it seem like they wanted us to eat and leave as soon as possible rather than leisurely enjoying our meal - ambiance good for a casual/semi casual meal - restroom available for diners MENU - Thai selection of mains and chefs specials - many vegan/vegetarian options - average price ($20 per entree) FOOD - vegan khao nar ped (8/10): crispy vegan duck over brown rice with a gingery sauce and sides of cucumber and greens. I asked for chili paste on the side and while it wasn't spicy the tang and warmth from the ginger was unlike any Thai dish I have tried. The portion is perfect for one person and can easily be shared as part of a larger spread. The texture of the vegan duck was chewy, but the flavors were masked by the sauce. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! This is one of the most vegan friendly Thai places in the city that has affordable and flavorful food.

very tiny cute place. authentic thai food. beef pad med mamuang (cashew nut sauté) was the table favorite. pad thai was a little weird almost like sweet - prob wouldn't order it again. green curry was spicy and delicious. chicken satay appetizer with peanut sauce

One of my favorite small spots in Manhattan for some comforting and delicious Thai food, I've come in a few times and their pad Thai with shrimp is delicious, I also love their red curry with vegetables. During my last visit to NYC I decided to try some of their soups I loved their Tom Yum with shrimp and their Tom Kha is a great option for those who are very sensitive to spice, they were both very good. It's almost a must visit whenever I come to New York Whether I come with friends or myself.

Although Glur is small, it has a good layout and seating. This place is super comfortable and has a great vibe. We received hot and tasty food. Guests were always assisted by the wait staff. I highly recommend Glur Thai for lunch, brunch, dinner, or dates. For those who enjoy dining outdoors, the outside seating is a great feature. I loved the food because it was so flavorful and delicious. All menus should be requested. Only their seasonal menu was provided to me, with fewer specials. Other diners had additional menus, so I inquired about them.

Pad Thai with daring chicken and Ground Impossible Gra Prow
    Anna D.

Such a great vegetarian option - I'm not a vegetarian or vegan by any means but it's so nice that people can have more than the 1-2 options that menus generally offer. We didn't have any issues getting a table for 2 on a Saturday evening - it did start filling up as we ate. The menu is quite extensive with some core options and lots of newness with vegan options. I'd recommend the daring chicken option with any noodle - personally the pad Thai ($20) was good at first but then got too sweet once again. The ground impossible gra pow with rice ($22) was 100% a must have! It was very flavorful and had a sweetness without being overpowering. Would definitely come back - it's a small space but great for pairs or groups of 4.

Honestly, a pretty solid Thai spot. It is very small with little seating so you have to wait because they don't do reservations. We were able to get sat within 10 minutes. I think we just got lucky. They had a lot of vegan options which was really nice because two of the friends I was with our vegetarian. I tried the vegan duck and it was honestly really good. Didn't have a meat texture, but the flavors were really good and I enjoyed it.

I came to Glur with my friend who is vegan since she knew that there were a lot of options she could enjoy. I've never heard of Glur prior, but I was a little hesitant as i've never been to a thai place with a lot of vegan options before. I was definitely proven wrong. I got the chicken red curry and pad kee mao. Both dishes were so good and full of flavor. They had the perfect amount of spice and it was so comforting and warm to eat on a rainy evening. This is a great place to go with a group of friends as there's an option for everyone, and Glur does it all pretty well! The only thing is that the restaurant is a bit small and it did take a while to get the food, but other than that I highly recommend!

    Christina N.

Glur is a small Thai place in Chelsea with limited indoor and outdoor seating. The service is quick and the servers were so nice! We came here on a rainy Saturday night and waited about 20 minutes to sit at the bartop facing the street, which wasn't too bad. Just know there isn't space to wait inside and there isn't a covering outside, so a lot of people didn't wait due to the rain. I ordered the vegetable pad Thai and it was delicious, but the noodles were a bit too soft for me. The dish was flavorful and loaded with veggies (carrots, green beans, mushrooms, etc.). The portions are big as well, with enough for me to take back leftovers for lunch later in the week. It held up (shockingly) well for leftovers, the flavor was unchanged and the veggies were still crunchy even after reheating. This is a great Thai place and I would probably come back!

Decent food but overcharged on receipt. I ordered a curry without meat but was charged the price with meat. Not coming back.

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.

OMG-I just enjoyed one of the most delicious and flavorful Ahi Tuna Poke Bowls EVER!!! Run, don't…read morewalk to try this! It was so delicious. See my photos. The Ahi Tuna was the perfect and proper color it should be. The flavors were SPECTACULAR-WONDERFUL!!! NOTE: WAGAMAMA has added to their menu, since my last visit, so you now have a RAMEN SELECTION, and other yummy additions. I was too full from my spectacular Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl to try the Korean bbq Chicken Wings ($8.95) but, I will definitely be back to try them!! I'll post menu photos so you have an idea of the delicious food choices. (April 2026) My very first delicious bite of Ahi Tuna had a heavenly garlic flavor, it was wonderful, and the sweet green seaweed with rice only added to the wonderfulness. Vertical slices of cucumber, onion and scallion, also add deliciously to my wonderful Poke Bowl. Toasted sesame seeds, too. SIMPLY MARVELOUS!!! Remember to be sure to mix the poke bowl rice as you eat, so that you mix the rice with the yummy sauce that may accumulate at the bottom of the poke bowl. I usually eat a little while, THEN, mix the rice. This was so good, I had to eat, eat, eat, before I could stop to mix. LOL. That sweet green seaweed was so yummy!! A lovely mix of flavors...the garlic, the sweetness....I LOVED IT ALL SO MUCH!!!! When was the last time you enjoyed a dish so very much that you felt like standing up in the restaurant and telling everyone: THIS IS SOOO DELICIOUS!!!! Well, I felt like that, but I didn't stand up and tell everyone, but I did tell the manager, who happen to come to the table to ask how everything was. And I let him know how much I was enjoying the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. He explained why and how the tuna was so flavorful. We had a delightful brief foodie chat. What a joy!! The service is very nice here. I like the atmosphere too. And the music, which is cool; it does not interfere with thinking, or having a conversation. I really like it here . The women's rest room was very nice, and clean, with a Dyson Hand Dryer, so no paper towels on the floor. Yay! Helping our environment, too!! And I like the black and white wall paper, too. See my photos My last visit I enjoyed the Pad Thai, and the same non-alcoholic beverage, " Asian Mint Limeade", from the MINDFUL DRINKS area on the beverage menu. ($9.50) (April 2026). A nice treat! It does have a light carbonation (bubbles). This visit my delicious meal was from the BOWLS SECTION of the food menu, it was the AHI TUNA POKE BOWL ($17.95) (April 2026) With warm, and hot weather on the way, I know I will be enjoying this AHI TUNA POKE BOWL again...and again! I remembered i liked my experience going to one in London in 2024 and decided to go. I love how attentive the wait staff are, a little too attentive. A waitress, she had long hair and a nose ring, approached me when I was just glancing her way during eating. I didn't need anything, but I appreciate the favor. That same waitress gave me my receipt too early like she wanted me to leave ASAP. This was right before I asked to look at the desserts after I finished my meal. A "Would you like some dessert?" would have be appreciated. Cedrick, my principal waiter, was phenomenal. He decided to take care of me after no one was at the hosting desk for 5 minutes after I arrived. I had the chicken potsticker ramen and it was delicious! The potsticker was seasoned very well: my favorite part. To drink, I had the Asian Arnold Palmer and it was a cute drink! Only downside is the sweetness was not even distributed through the drink, even after I mixed the drink. Even though I had an issue with the service, I saw how caring they were (he looked like a manager now) to a family that came after me with organizing their seats and getting a baby chair. I just wished they gave me the same respect instead of rushing me out the door.
