Short notice, I needed a gf bakery and didn't really have time to research... I was a little shocked when I walked in the door. Everything is for sure dated... but what was the most disappointing, this is one of those places where everything is frozen. So no, fresh treats to enjoy now. I get it, gf doesn't sell fast, this is a great way to keep things "fresh" while having a large stock of options. So I grabbed a few things. It wasn't until after I checked out, I noticed those words. "VEGAN" I know I might be a minority here, but I get so tired of gf being grouped together with vegan. Sorry, not sorry.... vegan just isn't as good. I know a few products might work here and there, but majority, just isn't good. I would not of bought anything if I knew that ahead of time, and clearly yes, my fault for not reading the labels, but sometimes you get excited everything being gluten free, you don't bother with labels. I will say the scones were pretty ok. I would probably eat them again. They do a decent vegan frosting, but the items just tasted like happiness was sucked out of them. This is great for those kids with severe allergies! And I am happy they exist. It can be very hard to find these items, and a large variety at that. But this is not a place for non-gf people. This is not a place for celiac who enjoy foods that are enjoyable to eat. read more

I'm low key about holidays, especially my own birthday. But for my 50th birthday, my mom really wanted to throw a party. We compromised on immediate family only, and a cake. When asked which kind I wanted, I immediately answered: red velvet. The only problem? I have celiac disease, and it's not like you can order a gluten-free cake from any old bakery. Enter Gluten Free Creations. Not only did they have red velvet cake (in convenient 4x4 since they know a gluten-free cake is usually only for 1-2 people), but it was delicious. One of the best gluten-free treats I've ever had. Perfectly moist, soft without being crumbly, and the cream cheese frosting was perfect. I imagine the inside of this shop being aesthetically pleasing and definitely not.. feels like you go back in time to the 90's with the decor and setup in need of an upgrade.. the lady that attended me was a bit rude, felt like racial discrimination in all honesty.. I had called earlier to ask if it was best to just place an order ahead of time or shop in store, super nice on the line, but once I arrived the energy &' vibe I received was waaaay different than what I got in person not friendly at all, it was as if she was expecting me to know how they're process works. To the bqke goods they were okay, mid. They seemed to be dry, not very moist not sure if they had been sitting there for a while or if they're typically dry like that. I got the chocolate cake with vanilla frosting for my husband's birthday. They were able to write on the cake for me to personalize it without any issue. I'm so happy to be able to find a bakery that makes a gluten free and dairy free cake! I got there in the morning and there were tons of items in stock. The woman at the front was very helpful and gave me detailed instructions on how to store and serve the cake so that it wouldn't be dry at all. I would highly recommend this bakery! read more

Everything I've tried there is wonderful actually and they have the baking mixes to bring home and make a number of different items yourself- always nice to have on hand! After praising this bakery that I have relied on for many years and then amending my praise because I was having a hard time getting my orders delivered, I now have to make another amendment to my review. As of my last bad review I couldn't get anyone on the phone and no returned calls after leaving messages at the wholesale bakery to tell me why I didn't receive my order. I went on the website and saw that they had posted that they were temporarily closed with no information about when they might reopen. I was angry that I was allowed to order and pay without any knowledge that I wouldn't be able to get my order. For some reason my order showed up yesterday afternoon (just happened to be my birthday) without my having received any calls or explanations. I thank whoever made that happen because I had been researching bakeries on my computer for hours and was stressed out about how I was going to find what I needed. Of course I don't know how long it will be before I can get another order but fortunately I have enough to last a month. Thank you GFC!!! Please don't stay closed for too long. read more

An island in a wide ocean! I received a gift card to Gluten Free Creations, due to allergies to both Gluten and Dairy products. Sooo thankful that I stopped by. They have a wide selection of breads, muffins, cakes, rolls and more. The assistant was very helpful in describing and suggesting different items that met my requirements. It was great to go to a place with so many suggestions. I ended up with several, starting with a chocolate peanut butter cake - that is like a, Reese's peanut butter cup. Biggest problem was waiting 4 hours for it to defrost! I also grabbed some brownies, banana bread, blueberry muffins, corn muffins, and a loaf of her bed bread. Haven't tried them all yet ... but believe me I will. The cake is delicious as are the blueberry muffins. I am sure the rest will be also. It is also nice to see on the label, ingredients and which allergies are covered. My suggestions would be to have the items price marked. They are expensive, but you don't know the cost until you get to the register. My other suggestion would be to have a printed list of instructions; like must be kept frozen, or keep in refrigerator etc. The assistant told me, but with so many different items, I will never remember them. I am sure that I could call back, but it would be easier to either put a label on the item, or make instructions for different categories of food. Finally, they do offer delivery but at $14.95 for even a few blocks, I would suggest dropping by yourself. Go and enjoy... give yourself a treat. You deserve it. read more

Excellent gluten free bakery! I have celiac but no one else I am traveling with has a gluten intolerance. We loaded up on cookies, donuts, cinnamon rolls, and coffee cake and everything was excellent. Note that there is nothing "ready to eat" set out like a standard bakery. Every item is frozen and displayed in freezer cases. It's a quick minute in the microwave to defrost, though, and then you're set to go. FRAUDULENT!!!!! On Tuesday, November 1, I placed an online order for several gluten-free breads from Gluten-Free Creations. However, my experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. After placing the pick up order I realized that they don't offer same-day pick up available and since I was under the impression that it was same-day pick up I immediately after placing the order, I called their location to cancel, but the receptionist seemed utterly clueless about the process. They provided no useful information and suggested I call their wholesaler, which made no sense to me at all. Reluctantly, I contacted the wholesaler, only to be met with further confusion. They had no idea why I was calling them and advised me to request the cancellation through the contact form. I followed their instructions, but to no avail. I didn't receive a response, so a day later, I decided to email Gluten-Free Creations directly, not once but twice. It's now November 6, almost a whole week later, and I still haven't received a single response from them. The lack of customer service and integrity displayed by Gluten-Free Creations is absolutely pathetic. It's clear that they have no regard for their customers. They commit fraud by withholding customers' money even after cancellation requests have been made. This level of dishonesty is unacceptable. I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from this establishment. Their complete disregard for customer service is appalling. I personally lost $50 due to their incompetence and lack of professionalism. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Gluten-Free Creations at all costs. read more

What an amazing bakery! They offer so many gluten free options. I went for the first time and snagged a quiche, this turkey biscuit, and a loaf of bread. They also had tons of sweet options. I had to limit myself this first visit. Let me tell you - this biscuit made me so happy. I grew up in the South so I'm a bit picky about biscuits. I'd resigned myself to the sandy puck that passes for gf biscuits available elsewhere. What a surprise to find this one that actually tastes and has a relatively close texture to a glutened biscuit. It's a bonus that it also doesn't have soy. Please support this adorable bakery and try their offerings. I'll definitely return. Update - I just had the bread for lunch. Damn! Brand new to the world of gluten free, so Yelp has really come through for me! Found this gem of a place and glad we did. With Thanksgiving coming I wasn't prepared to attempt a gluten free recipe. We purchased an apple pie with crumb topping, pecan pie, and biscuits! Everything was purchased frozen, so be sure to follow defrost instructions. The apple crumb is delicious...of course you could put crumb topping on anything and I would love it. Pecan pie was just as you would want. Full of pecans and that perfect sweetness. This is literally right behind my home and so convenient. I went in and ordered a 4 pack of GF bagels because I have hashimotos and need to minimize my gluten intake. The woman who cashed me out was super friendly. Explained the different types of items they have and ever gave me a discount for it being my first time there! The bagels were more of an English muffin texture but REALLY flavorful as I got the everything bagels. It held cream cheese well and makes really great breakfast sandwiches. Lady helping me was very, welcoming! Because my diet has had to change, went there to explore some gluten free bread. I got two loaves,she said was very good when toasted, nope! Toasted for seven minutes, a little crusted on the outside but like a pound cake. I tried to make an egg sandwich, not even close. I am in AZ for a conference and found this amazing diamond in the rough. This place is a dream for anyone who has food allergies. They had quite a large selection of treats, breads, bagels and even gluten free flour. I got a few things to try before I left AZ. The very first was a lemon cookie. I had the intention of trying a little bit of everything, but it was so good, I just ate the whole thing. The lemon was just the perfect amount - not overpowering at all. The texture was just a tiny bit flaky on the outside, but moist in the center. It was absolutely delicious - so much so, I went back to buy 2 more . Debbie was who helped me and was such a helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant person. Even if you don't have food allergies, I highly recommend coming here. If I didn't know for a fact everything was gluten free, I would have been nervous asking if they were sure it was gluten free. read more

Gluten Free Creations Bakery has been a life saver for me for many years. Where I live, we don't have a dedicated gluten free bakery. So when I travel to Phoenix I try and stop by and pick a few goodies up. When I can't make it, I order online and get it shipped quickly. The service is fantastic when you go in or call over the phone. On the inside of the N 32nd st location, they have freezers to the left with all the yummy delicious snacks and breads. It's not too small, has good lighting and natural lighting. The labels are very clear as to what is in the ingredients, and what could be potential allergens to folks. They take this very serious. If you ever have questions they help you quickly. These are just some of my favorites. The hamburger buns and white bread (soy/dairy/gluten free) are my top favorites. You simply can't go wrong. Some members in my family will eat these items because they just don't taste GF. That's how delicious these are. The prices are above the normal prices or gluten foods, but it's always been that way. I went here to find bread stuffing mix for Thanksgiving. They had stuffing already prepared but I told the clerk that I have a stuffing that I've been making for years that my family loves so I was just looking for bread cubes similar to Pepperidge Farms's. She let me know about Herb Loaf bread that they carry and said that it was toasted. I bought that along with cream cheese pumpkin muffins and blueberry muffins (YUM!!). I cut the slices of bread into cubes and toasted it more because it was still moist. OMG!!! Turned out so good! I finally got to enjoy my delicious stuffing recipe! GFC is a game changer. If you have celiac and miss indulging in bread that actually has flavor and texture (and in some, no eggs! Yay!), go here immediately! I had no idea this wonderful bakery existed until we recently dined at Sanctuary in PV and they offered me GF bread that they assured was also vegan. I honestly didn't believe them because it was incredible--the bread was fluffy, chewy, and nothing like the dry cardboard I've become accustomed to as a vegan with celiac. Our server told us where to find this amazing bread and my husband and I immediately sought out to find it. For reference, the bread I'm referring to is the herb baguette. It's divine! Once at GFC, I had to buy everything I could find that was vegan (many items are). I definitely recommend the bagels (they're almost like an unsweetened donut or croissant) and any of the herb breads (loaf, baguette, rolls). The only things that weren't my favorite were the corn muffins, which I found way too crumbly and overly sweet, and the cupcakes. Regardless, I'm a fan for life! Dairy free? Gluten free? Keto? They have you covered. I can't have gluten and also do the cyclical keto thing and gave up on anything dessert related due to constant disappointment. Well I was proven wrong today. The keto snickerdoodle cookies are amazing!!!! The bread is edible. Cupcakes weren't the best but they weren't the worst I've tried. Overall very impressed. So happy to have found this place! We traveled to Arizona and I wanted to find a bakery with some gluten free options so we could stock up for our room. This was more than we could have imagined. They have SO many options, all gluten free, and a lot are also dairy, egg, or soy free for other allergens. The man that help us was incredibly friendly, he took me through everything that I could eat (gluten and dairy free) and took special care to make sure what I was choosing was safe. We bought chocolate chip cookies, lemon poppyseed muffins, a donut, and a pecan sticky bun. Everything was amazing, I wish we had a location closer to us. I'm not gluten free but wanted to get a birthday cake for my friend who has recently had to cut out gluten for health reasons and has really been missing out on a lot of traditional treats. I called ahead to see if they had cakes available for same day pickup and they had plenty of options. They decorated it with a happy birthday message and some flowers when I got there. Both my friend and I absolutely loved the cake and the buttercream frosting was some of the best I've ever had! Sometimes it can be too sickly sweet but this was spot on. Flavorful bread, muffin, cake, cookies and etc options for both GF and/or Vegan persons. It was really tough to decide what to try. My husband and I stopped here for lunch and purchased a no-sugar added, low glycemic coconut grain bread and a small container of the lemon poppy seed muffins. Both were delicious. I suggest fully toasting that type of bread for the best flavor. I want to try the GF Rye type bread next because that was always my favorite bread, back when I ate bread without the ER trips haha. I'm excited and know it'll be great. We also stayed for lunch which was great. He got the GF biscuits and gravy and I got the GF Reuben. Both were delicious and it was fun being about to try his dish since he doesn't eat gluten free! He even noted that his lunch didn't taste GF which is great I didn't end up sharing the poppy seed muffins with him lol, so we'll need to go back. I suggest warming them slightly and adding melted butter for a satisfying breakfast treat for special days. I didn't have any cross contamination reaction whatsoever so was impressed with flavor and the safety of each dish. They also sell inexpensive freezer containers. Unfortunately they were out but we were happy to learn that they didn't mark the prices up since we bought the same kind of bag at the nearest grocery store. Huge fan of GFC bakery! They cater to so many diet styles. I avoid dairy and gluten in my regular diet and can find most any baked good I want here that complies! I mostly buy from their Food with Intention line. I LOVE the flax loaf, I slice it up and freeze it - lasts me a few weeks. Minimal ingredients, low carb and plenty of fiber. It toasts really well. I am also a huge fan of their coconut mesquite cookies, they are the perfect size to cure my sweet tooth and they are delicious! This bakery also created my wedding cupcakes for me! I had a traditional cake for my guests but I wanted to enjoy something that night as well without getting a stomach ache. They were so kind in helping me design them to match my wedding and my diet wishes. My hubby usually gets my birthday treats from here! I have been meaning to stop in and grab breakfast, I really want to try their grain free pancakes!
