We like the variety of pastries to choose from each day but my favorite GF items are the donuts, scones, muffins, and cupcakes. My wife loves your traditional croissants and cookies! But we also recommend the BAB breakfast and Breakfast burrito (the BEST salsa)! Pair all of that with the Val Special coffee and the salted caramel cold bruh and you have the magic pairing. Submitted a contact form about 3 weeks before I needed a custom cake to request a quote and also sent example photos via IG messages. Took a couple days to hear anything back from the IG message. Was told by end of day they would get back to me. Never did. Also never received a response via email to my contact form. Followed up via IG DM a few days later to see if they would be able to accommodate. No response. Unfortunately this is not a vendor I would recommend to anyone at this point. The worst part is the last message I sent was marked read and not responded to. A shame. Would have loved to support this Black owned business. They did deliver on time but they baked the cupcakes without any sugar! Maybe gluten free or flourless?? They tasted awful! Dessert was ruined! I called to let them know my order may have been mixed up with someone else's gluten free order & they swore they would credit me for next time. I called & emailed them several times (politely) reminding them of my credit but they never honored my credit. I LOVE this bakery so much. I have a few food allergies and the ingredients B&H use are clean. I didn't have any reactions and everything was delicious. No seed oils are used and they can accommodate so many different diets (keto, paleo, vegan). At this point, I have tried every single one of their pies, the cinnamon rolls (which are a must try), donuts, cookies, and a beautiful cake. I will definitely be going back for more. I had not received them so I sent an email asking why and I was told that they had a delay and would not be able to get them to me until the next day. If I had not asked, I would not have even been told about the issue. Then they show up the next day, cookies and icing still warm and the icing is ALLLLL smeared all over all the cookies because they were not cooled properly. Very disappointed with this business. My wife and I ordered a cake for my sister's baby shower and it was completely not what we were looking for. It was upsetting that the owner was not present when my wife picked up the cake because if she were to be there, then she would have been able to tell her that this was not the cake that they had discussed and agreed upon. I find this business to be very unprofessional as we reached out to the owner and she let us know that she will not be refunding us, but would rather give us $25 towards our next purchase with her? Um, we obviously don't need the $25 because we will not be using this business again so the "$25 off your next purchase" was ridiculous. For almost a $100 cake, we would expect a little more professionalism and care. Shows that she doesn't fully care about the customer. Unfortunate. read more

You will see several one star reviews and I agree with them all. I ordered and prepaid for my husbands birthday cake and donuts. The day before I called, text, and emailed for an address of where to pick up and timeframe. I didn't get a response until the day of. She emailed me and said the cake was made but not the donuts due to a family emergency. That is understandable but the donuts were for my vegan guests and not knowing this information until the day of really put me in a bad situation because I didn't have any time for a backup for my vegan guests. I emailed Mo and she was generous enough to fulfill my order through another bakery that has vegan donuts and even offered delivery. Delivery was scheduled between 2:30-3:30. I made sure that I arranged my schedule to be at the house between 2:30-3:30PM. I get an email at around 1:40PM that my cake has been delivered. I couldn't believe it. I wasn't at home at that time! Where was the cake?! In the front? Outside? In almost 100 degree weather? I emailed Mo 3 times, no response! I called her 4 times, no answer. It is not the next day. Still no answer. I came home to the cake being left out in the heat so I guess you can say we had a great pet with amazing cake *sarcasm* This was complete unprofessional.
