After my credit was run, I was told my score came back much lower than what I am seeing from all three bureaus on my end. I politely asked for a copy of the credit report they pulled for my records, which is a normal request when your credit is run, but I never received a response. I also followed up to ask what the minimum down payment would be to make the deal work, as I was willing to consider that option, and I did not receive a response to that either. I understand that my deal structure (negative equity and zero down) may have made things more difficult, and I was open to waiting a few months if needed. That part was not the issue. The issue was the lack of follow-up and communication after my credit was pulled. As someone who has worked in sales for over 20 years, communication and follow-up matter. Even if the deal can't be done right now, customers still deserve clear communication and closure.

What really concerns me is what happened after I drove the car off the lot. The check engine light came on shortly after, showing a bad O2 sensor. When I got home and took a closer look, I noticed the car had O2 sensor spacers installed. That raised a red flag because those are often used to hide issues with failing catalytic converters. This was never disclosed to me during the purchase, and catalytic converter repairs are not cheap. I feel like that's something that should have been clearly communicated upfront so I could make a fully informed decision. Oh and the A/C didn't work . -_-

I watched Jeff become visibly shaken when my husband started asking questions about the additional charges. Instead of sitting down with us and calmly explaining exactly what we were being charged for, he became defensive and tried to kick my husband out of his office simply because he wanted answers about our own money. I was sitting right there and witnessed the entire interaction. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and honestly shocking to watch someone who is supposed to be handling the financial side of a major purchase behave that way. What made me even angrier was that when we tried to contact him, he avoided us instead of having the professionalism to speak with us and explain the charges. Nearly $2300 in add-ons is not pocket change. We have every right to know exactly what we were charged for and why. I can't help but wonder whether the additional commission from those add-ons was more important to him than being transparent with his customers. In my personal experience, Jeff Garcia was completely incompetent and unprofessional. If you cannot explain the charges on a customer's loan and stand behind the paperwork you put in front of them, then you have no business treating customers this way. I left that office angry, frustrated, and feeling completely disrespected. My advice to anyone buying from this dealership: DO NOT LET YOUR GUARD DOWN IN THE FINANCE OFFICE. READ EVERY SINGLE LINE.
