Honestly this is the only spot that we trust to go out to dinner during this covid situation. My gfs family and I go to dinner at least once a week here. The servers are so friends and ours always remembers us by name. It's super convenient because we always can make a reservation when we want to go. Walking in we get our temps taken and then seated immediately. They have two huge things of hand sanitizer that they encourage people to use. They seat us super quick and always have water ready to go. I honestly love it because we are seated in a comfortable distance away from other people. The servers wear masks and gloves and it puts my mind at ease. Everything feels super safe here. Food wise is spectacular. I love the sashimi. Tonight we went and had seared ahi tuna and it literally was like butter. The cut was AMAZING and the taste was to die for. Scalloped sashimi was my finishing course.... it is like my go to after smoke of the meal. And again it's was like butter. Everything was so good and I tried an amazing beer. Machi ipa and it was delicious and green! Paired great with the food and the server did an amazing job with it. Gf dad had a house saki and they put it in an ice bucket (which just added class and was fun to look at). Food presentation is always 10/10 with them. The owner of the establishment was present as well and interacting with the patrons. We debated over the best Japanese whisky and tried several rums and sakes all before the meal. There is a Yelp check-in offer for a free shot of pineapple sake that was honored which started this experience off with a bang. The sushi was delicious as well. Unexpected Beauty. Way-to-freakin-go! I would love to meet the chef or the decedent of Michelangelo who designed these jaw dropping creations behind the scenes. This guy deserves a raise, or at least a pat on the back but for his sake I think he would want the raise, because my hands tend to get sweaty. This restaurant is amazing! It was our first time there and it was great. The food tasted delicious and everything was presented so beautifully (the pictures I took honestly don't do it justice)! At one point there was an issue (something that could have happened at any restaurant) and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay. I have to say: love the sushi, love the sake bombs and love the people! Go Fish offers a great variety of sushi and also Japanese cuisine in general. Try the yakisoba noodles, it's delicious! I've been to Go Fish many times but most recently, I visited Go Fish on a Friday evening for happy hour around 5:30pm (HH ends at 6pm). Enjoyed some sushi rolls and sake bombs with a friend. We were having a great time and called four more friends to come. They joined us for MORE sushi and sake bombs. The staff was so friendly and attentive. By 8pm, the restaurant was packed! Every seat was taken both in the restaurant and the lounge. Too bad it was freezing outside otherwise I'm sure even more people would have been there. Despite how much was going on, the staff checked up on us regularly. They separated our bill correctly and there were no problems at all. We were given fried cheesecake on the house, which was awesome. After dinner, we had planned to leave to go to a bar down the street but it was now 10pm and that meant late night happy hour had begun. So we stayed! We moved ourselves into the lounge area and continued the festivities. Again, the staff and bartender were wonderful! Go Fish is located in a fun part of town with relatively 'ok' parking. The place itself is small and cozy but smartly decorated. We had called ahead to get a table and did not have to wait to be seated (5 people). Service was friendly and efficient. We each got a roll to share along with yakitori skewer appetizer. The skewer was just 'ok'. I'm not sure if they actually use a yakitori grill, but the chicken was a bit on the dry side and flavor was just eh. the sushi, however, was presented on an impressive plate (all five together) with DRY ICE!! we were all OOos and Aaahhhs when it came out. The taste of the sushi was also spot on. Very flavorful and the fish was pretty good too. Being from California, I had my doubts about how 'fresh' sushi could be in Denver, but I was not disappointed! The favorite of the night was the soft shell crab roll with mango. It was delicious! Plus points to Go Fish for offering a Yelp check in dessert for free. It was a tempura'd cheese cake. We shared it among 5 people and were fully satisfied. side note: The chefs and servers aren't japanese, but how many japanese places are nowadays?? I ordered the beef teryiaki which was good. Nothing spectacular, but still good. Hubby and family really loved the sushi. They tried an assortment of rolls and thought each one was delicious. I even tried the Las Vegas & Hot Orgasam rolls which were so good. The dishes were so beautiful. Each one looked like art work on a plate. The staff was incredible. I've read some of the reviews that mentioned the language barrier, but we didn't have any issues. Sure our waitress didn't speak perfect English, but she was sweet and really made an effort to get us to understand her. Last night was my first experience at Go Fish Sushi on South Broadway. My girlfriends and I are always looking for great Happy Hours and sushi is by far our favorite. The HH menu is big. They have a lot of moderately priced items and a few rolls that seem about the same price as regular. However, everything we ordered was tasty and beautifully presented. We had fried wontons and a roll call 69 which was awesome. We had the tuna avocado roll, crunchy spicy tuna and crunch spicy yellow tail. But by far the 69 roll was my favorite. The place is very nice and our waiter Zach was a rockstar. Checked in with us often. The biggest drawback is the parking (of course). They have a small lot in the back with just a few designated spots for Go Fish. I was lucky enough to get one, but my other girl friends were not as lucky and had to find street parking and continue to feed the meters. All in all, it was a nice experience, and I would recommend this Go Fish! read more

First of all the presentation for their sushi is fantastic. We ordered some miso soup and 4 different rolls. After living in the west coast for a few years I got spoiled with fresh sushi. Don't get me wrong the sushi was fresh here but the slices were small and the rice was falling apart with just about every roll. The flavors were good. I ordered a cucumber roll and just about everywhere I've ever ordered it's usually sushi wrapped in cucumber. It was definitely my fault and I should've asked but this sushi roll has actual cucumber inside; it's not wrapped cucumber with fish inside. Thats what I wanted, should have double checked! Having eaten at and received delivery from Go Fish many many dozens of times over the years, it's sad for me that this place has really declined in quality over the past few months. In the past three consecutive orders, the sushi rolls (both premium and regular) have been very low quality. Multiple rolls literally soaking wet and disintegrating, cooked rolls being undercooked, rolls with tempura being very overbreaded. When I've called to share that an order was missing items or improperly prepared (like the strangely wet and inedible rolls), they failed to take any reasonable accountability. Despite being a weekly customer for a long time, I won't continue ordering from Go Fish after so many poor experiences with their food and customer service. read more

We arrived during Happy Hour, and the place was pretty empty. We were seated immediately, and that's where it began. My friend said "Not by the door please," and the waitress (Wing) immediately began seating us right next to the door, so we emphasized it again, and she seated us elsewhere, though we still caught a cross breeze from the outside every once in awhile. We were barely given time to review the menu, we were only asked if we wanted appetizers, not drinks. I had to flag down our waitress so we could order beer and sake. It was also very difficult to order or get information about what things were. My friend asked what was in the yellowtail appetizer and we had to wait for another server who spoke English to come over and explain. We also did not even get one of our appetizers until the meal was over because our server did not put the order in- yet it still appeared on our bill. Not cute. I would come again if I was planning to drink more- the sake was good, and you get a free shot if you check in on Yelp, and the gyoza, hot orgasm roll and miso soup were delicious!!!!
