I loved my Iced Nutty Norris Geyser Latte with oat milk! The ladies working were all so nice and the service was quick for how busy they were. The inside looked clean for the most part. They also offer food but looked like it was stuff they warm up in a microwave or buy in bulk from Costco. I would come here again when I'm West Yellowstone!

Solid coffee spot in West Yellowstone that you can walk up to order or there is a double drive through to order from. The perfect stop right before hitting the Grand loop of Yellowstone. This place is open earlier than other coffee shops so is a great option if you are up for an early morning. Quick service, friendly staff, okay espresso drinks, but a little too steep of prices for what it is.

The ladies are very nice here and love that it's a drive-thru with quick service. I got the Nutty Noris Geyser Coffee (Hazelnut/Irish Cream). However, the coffee was not too tasty for me and the price was more expensive than Starbucks for the quality. I do admit I'm a bit of a coffee snob so this coffee might be fine for many others. I probably wouldn't come here unless I had no other options.

Cute little coffee place in the west yellow stone. Got their Go-Go Special and Troy's Special coffees. They were really good. The owner at the shop was very sweet and friendly. We also go breakfast burrito and everything beagle for our breakfast.

The price on the menus doesn't match with the real price they charge and they just refuse to give a reason for that and tell us to fxxk off. The receipt doesn't even have itemized price. Just a total number. LoL! Never see something like that. And even ask for tip. If you don't care about the extra $5 for no reason just go there. BTW, the breakfast burrito is terrible

This was such a good stop!! My cat was talking to the barista & earned himself a some whipped cream. The dogs also got some with the cutest little bones in them! Everyone was so friendly & we will be stopping by anytime we're in the area! ALSO BEST BREAKFAST BURRITOS I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME! wish more people made them like this! read more

My husband and I stopped to get some coffee but it was closed. The lady who runs the shop saw us there, came over and told us she was going to make us a coffee anyways. She didn't even open for the season until May. She wasn't even going to make us pay but we insisted! Our coffee was delicious but the customer service was top notch! read more

Dove a bus with 30 people up here this summer, and brought all 30, including myself, to spend money here. Continently, only after we all paid did the owner come out and berate me for parking my bus too close to the cabin she owned (completely street legal spot by the way). After I offered to move (even though I didn't need to) she still proceeded to "call my company" and asked for my name, and cuss me out. The coffee tasted like anything I could have gotten at a gas station for a dollar. I would only recommend this place if you don't have a vehicle to park, and can't walk across the street to the gas station to get coffee. This is no way to treat paying customers. If you're reading this owner,I would have been happy to move my bus for the 15 minutes we were there, because I get it can be an eye sore. All you would have had to do was ask me, and I would have taken it around the block, no problem. read more

I went here a few times while I was in town. I enjoyed this location since they open the earliest: 6 AM. The staff were very friendly, which I appreciated, especially with it being so early in the morning! I wish I liked this place more, especially since others seem to like it a lot. We tried a few different drinks and food, but all of it was pretty mid. I had a few questions about some of the drinks, but the staff was unsure how to answer, which felt odd to me. I feel like you should know how you make your drinks and/or what's in it. In addition, our drinks weren't the best taste-wise. We did try the burritos, especially since food is hard to find in the mornings. The burritos are 100% not worth it. Not a 1/2 pound and probably frozen (cold in some places) for 7.60$. Hopefully it was just an off few days! We'd maybe try it again in the future to see if things improved. read more

Great idea, with the lack of coffee places around the area. Service was nice, friendly, and patient. The coffee? Atrocious. I've never tasted something so subpar before. Everyone in the car, it was a unanimous decision. I couldn't even finish my coffee. The $8 dollar burritos, are just 1.99 frozen burritos that are still frozen inside. Pricing is a bit of a rip off too. Sorry, but these are gigantic rip on pricing. read more

A quick and easy drive up or walk up place in yellowstone. They are open nice and early (must earlier than the rest of the places in town). The I got a vanilla latte and it was nice, nothing amazing. The service was great and they did a great job helping me choose what to have on a day that i really needed caffeine. read more

The pricing is deceptive. They charge more for orders and don't provide an itemized receipt. Additionally, they are really rude and disrespectful when we ask for an explanation. I wouldn't recommend going there. Also, don't feel obligated to tip here because they take tips for granted. It's not mandatory, and I have the right to decide whether to tip or not. Such a shameful place does not deserve a tip. read more

Great coffee drive thru minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. They open up wayyyy earlier than the other local coffee shops so you can get your pick me up and start your day. They have a variety of milk alternatives and the staff was super friendly at 6 am! read more

My fiancé said this is the best vanilla lattes he ever had, and I have to agree! He asked for a little vanilla flavor and they nailed it, it was the perfect amount of sweetness to espresso ratio. I got an americano which was delicious. Such a cute little drive though place on your way into the park. The staff was so friendly and helpful giving us great recommendations that locals go to inside the park. We didn't want to drive away we were having such a great conversation. This is the only place open by 6:30 AM! Not only is it convenient before you head for the park, their coffee is delicious! I had a regular drip coffee, and it's very tasty. They even sell it by the pound! Make sure to check them out, as they have drive-up and walk-up services. read more

Didn't take any pictures but this place made us feel at home! Michael and Chris were great! I forgot the woman's name who worked there!!! Sorry for that but she was awesome as well! Coffee and Chai was perfect for the early morning start! Thanks again for the bear spray and we can't wait to make it back again! Maybe we can try one of the cabins next to the store! Coffee is great! People are very nice and helpful. However the burritos- I don't personally recommend unless you like spicy food. They don't tell you it is spicy either. I can handle some spice but the sausage burrito was so spicy I couldn't eat the whole thing. Definitely not worth the price either. But overall would recommend getting coffee here! read more

This is amazing! My favorite coffee spot and hot chocolate. Lots of options in the menu to choose from as well if you don't want coffee. Closed on Sundays! They open at 6am until 1pm (at least the time I was here) Stop by! This is a must! And the coffee is great and I'm picky with my coffee. read more

Some of the choices here will take a bit longer to put together - the bubble waffles are made at the time of purchase, and take a couple of minutes in the iron. Espresso is also made one lovely shot at a time. We were lucky enough to visit W. Yellowstone in early May, when there aren't any lines, so waiting for a minute or two wasn't a problem, especially when it turned out the ice cream and espresso were both so delicious. For a small shop, the menu is really diverse. There are two different types of waffle cones (hot bubble and premade standard), a full range of coffee shop essentials with alternative milks (almond, soy, oat), crepes, shakes, and a few panini sandwiches (including vegetarian). Indoor seating is limited, but there are outdoor tables as well. The shop is small, but cozy and offers some souvenir items as well. This is one of the best indie coffee and ice cream shops I've been in (not just here, but anywhere) - I hope it doesn't lose anything to the massive crowds that will descend upon it once summer's here.

Book Peddler ended up being one of our favorite discoveries in West Yellowstone. In a town where…read morebreakfast options can be somewhat limited, service can move at a different pace than larger cities, and many establishments don't open particularly early, Book Peddler fills a nice niche by serving good coffee, made-to-order breakfast items, and offering a genuinely enjoyable bookstore to browse before heading into Yellowstone. I'd still suggest checking their website for seasonal hours, but we found them open early enough to comfortably fuel up before entering the park. The coffee program is surprisingly strong for a small tourist town bookstore café. They offer several locally roasted coffees, including lighter roasts, darker roasts, and decaf options, along with espresso drinks and specialty coffee beverages. We found the coffee to be among the better options available in town. The breakfast menu was another pleasant surprise. Rather than relying solely on pastries or grab-and-go items, many of the offerings are prepared to order. You'll find breakfast burritos, sandwiches, vegetarian selections, and meat options, giving most travelers enough variety to satisfy differing tastes. It's one of the few places in West Yellowstone where you won't be steered towards elk or bison! During our visit they offered both vegetable and ham quiches, along with chili. Everything we tried was fresh, satisfying, and felt like a step above what we expected to find in a small gateway community. Service is solid, though perhaps not spectacular by large-city standards. Orders can take a little while during busier periods, but honestly it felt very much on pace with West Yellowstone as a whole. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure guests had a good experience. Given the town's relative isolation and dependence on deliveries, it's also not uncommon for certain items to occasionally be unavailable, whether that's a specific milk option, produce item, or pastry. We found the staff to be upfront about availability, and it never materially detracted from the experience. The bookstore itself is worth spending some time in, even if you originally stopped by only for coffee. The selection leans heavily into Yellowstone, national parks, western fiction, travel, and regional history. It's a much better place to find a unique souvenir or gift to bring home than another shop selling the same T-shirts, magnets, and trinkets found throughout town. Final Thoughts: Book Peddler quietly does several things well at once. It's a good coffee shop, a surprisingly strong breakfast stop, and an independent bookstore that rewards browsing. If you're spending a few days in West Yellowstone, I would recommend making at least one morning visit before heading into the park. Outside seating is limited, just one picnic table and a few benches in front.
