We called yesterday morning when we noticed our AC was not kicking on and they were able to get a tech out today! Butch arrived on time and was friendly as could be. He wasted no time jumping in and trying to diagnose the problem. He went through everything he could think of, figured it out, and advised us of best solutions. We never felt pressured or unsure of the decisions we were making. He also pointed out things to keep an eye on, as they appeared to be going bad or outdated, but again, never once did he push for us to buy or do anything now. He was also honest with us about replacing the unit altogether (yes, you're thinking he wants us to spend the money and they make it), but the unit is 32 years old with a life expectancy of 20, soo he's not wrong. Beyond suggesting a new unit he priced out different components that we could replace, as we wanted to, in order to squeeze as much life out as we could. We were already considering replacing, so he helped us set up a no obligation consultation later this week. And honestly, if not for the service and respect we've been shown, we'd consider shopping around more, but this family owned company has earned our business and trust for years to come! Zach came out and was super knowledgeable and explained the issue. He quickly fixed the problem with the toilet and at a very reasonable cost compared to quotes I got from other companies. Zach replaced the flapper and valve. We had an old pull out method valve and he installed a more sturdy quarter turn valve on our toilet. I am one that as much as possible do not like to leave a negative review but I wanted to voice out…read morethe bad experience I've had with Water Heater Pros which hopefully will save someone else the time, money and hassle of dealing with this company in the future. Our Navien tankless water heater was taking long to heat up the water in the morning, usually after several hours of not being used. So i reached out to Water Heater Pros and spoke to Steve who i think is the manager. He said it likely needs to be de-scaled since i have not done that for several years. Steve was quick to schedule an appointment for someone to come out to our house. I got quoted $329 which i thought was steep but if it will fix the issue then I'm ok with it. Valentin was the technician who worked on our water heater, who was courteous and performed the service. He told my wife and I that there is likely an issue with the internal valve and then later on noticed that there is also an issue with the display where it has trouble keeping memory wherein it was not able to hold the date/time settings. Valentin said he was going to have to order the parts and follow up with me. After he left, I played around with the monitor and was able to properly set the date/time properly and has kept the current settings until now (3 months after). After about a month of no communication, i then called WHP again and spoke to Steve to follow up on the service and that i am still having the same issue with the unit and am still waiting for replacement parts. He also seemed dismissive of hearing out my concerns when i told him the monitor appeared to be properly working again and if he could have one of his guys take another look at the unit but flat out said "NO." Steve then tells me that he reached out to Navien and request I send him paperwork on when our water heater was worked on by the builder so he can provide that to Navien for a replacement. I got the paperwork he requested and sent it to the email provided a few days after we spoke. I wait about a week but no response so i start calling WHP and have left Steve about 3-4 voice messages in the coming 2-3 weeks but STILL NO RESPONSE. I then was able to speak to a lady at their office who says all their technicians are out on the field but have someone reach out to me when one becomes available. 2 days later and have yet to hear from anyone! I am extremely frustrated with their lack of professionalism and accountability into their work. Very poor communication, difficult to get ahold off, and non-existent follow up on their end to the point where i tried reaching out several times with no response at all. Worst part is, i am still stuck with the same issue with our water heater that started this whole process in the first place, which has been ongoing for about 3 months now since I wanted to give Water Heater Pros the benefit of the doubt, but enough is enough.

Recently, my wife and I called Matt at Main St. Plumbing via a referral from one of our good friends. We were trying to decide whether to replace our 25 year old Jacuzzi shower pan that had cracked (due some underbelly softening), or to get it repaired and resurfaced via a fiberglass redo, and just have a new drain and seals put in. After chatting with Matt (via a phone consult) and sending him some pictures, it became quite evident that the original drain pipe seals, crown nut (missing), and surrounding flange seal had failed. That has most likely caused the under-pan softening (water damage) and eventual cracking. While that isn't great news, knowing this information (based upon Matt's expertise), has prevented us from spending a couple thousand dollars trying to repair and resurface the fiberglass pan only to have the cracking problem reappear (i.e. a waste of money). Matt was easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, and had seen this problem before... As such, he was able to guide us in the right direction.
