Pricing far above other quotes We were charged $558.31 (before a 15% discount) to replace a single front wheel lug stud. For the exact same repair, I later received written quotes of $228.80 from an independent shop and $381 including tax from a Subaru dealership. That means Christian Brothers' price was about 2.4x the independent shop and about 1.5x the dealership for the same job. Christian Brothers owner and employee told me they used an ALLDATA labor guide to calculate the bill and charged 2.1 hours of labor, while the other shop quoted 1.0 hour. I understand different shops can have different labor rates and methods, but this felt significantly out of line with other reputable options in the area. 2. Response to my concerns When I raised these concerns by email, the owner's reply came across as dismissive. I was told that "complaining about the price after the fact is mute at this point" and that if we did not like the cost, we should have gone elsewhere. I had hoped for a more constructive conversation about why the price was so much higher than other quotes. We chose this shop largely because of the "Christian Brothers" name and the expectation of fair dealing that came with it. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not return and cannot recommend this location to others.

I ended up booking thru a travel site that gave me a better rate than Hertz Gold Plus. The car (an uncomfortable 2025 Jeep Compass Limited) ran fine for mountain driving, but it wasn't very clean. Possibly due to turnaround times and lack of staff. Fast food wrappings, dog hair and dust in the interior, bird poo on the exterior. Loss of another star. As a reminder, always take photos of your rental car at both pickup and return. This car only had 22k miles and quite a few scratches on the rear bumper.

Since then, I have used Auto Management to acquire 4 vehicles, including a Mercedes G-Wagon and a Mercedes CLK Convertible. During the time I had the G-Wagon, we were stopped at a light and got rear ended by a driver going nearly 50mph. When the police showed up, they looked at the paperwork I had from Auto Management, no problem at all. When I had to deal with my insurance company for injuries and repairs in the vehicle from Auto Management, again, no problem at all. I was going through a rough time and needed to get rid of a car payment without ruining my credit. I turned my vehicle in to the Auto Management program and my payments were made on time while another of David's clients was qualified and took it over. I have experienced nothing but excellent service as both one who got vehicles from Auto Management, and one who used their service to have their car payment taken over. I wholeheartedly recommend David at Auto Management. This is a unique service that I hope remains forever. It's been a solution for me whenever I needed.

Gerber was told I was leaving town for South Carolina on a specific day, very early (6 am), several times. They called 1 day before the last day I could pickup car. Said car would be ready 3 days after my "latest date". When reminded about my latest date, they acted like it was new information. Told me they would call the next day at Noon to tell me the status of the repair. Gerber did not call at Noon. I presumed the car was not to be ready. Took a job for late that day (I am a photographer). Gerber called at 4 pm, saying the car was ready. I was too far away to make it to Gerber before their closing time. I told them, and they said there was no way to pickup the car after they closed, nor would they bring my car to my home and pickup the rental car. As a result, the rental car was returned when I returned to Denver, one week later. Enterprise Rental charge me almost $200. This is in excess of what they charged Safeco. Enterprise called me to say I would be charged for the one week extra time. I informed them of why I should not be charged. They said they would look into it, and let me know about Gerber or Safeco paying the extra charges. Heard nothing back from Enterprise. Then the charge appeared on my credit card.
