Oh my gosh!!! Went on Lunar New Year and it was so cutely decorated. They celebrated with drink deals, giving away cute wooden tags, and had limited edition jelly dragons. I came in to just get a drink and somehow ended up with a bucket It was massive and had tons of different jelly, boba and panna cotta. The liter lasted me nearly 3 days. I got the lotus flower tee which was nice but not super memorable. But then this time they had the toppings! This was the reason for coming back and all the different fun jello toppings are such a nice treat to hunt for in the bucket. Very spacious parking lot and inside had a lot of tables and chairs to sit down. We had to wait a little bit for our food but the service was good. We ordered the Mi Cay (both the seafood and beef). You can get 0-7 spice with 7 being really spicy. I think if you were to eat something like this adding some spice will definitely taste better than 0 spice. I also personally enjoyed the beef more than the seafood because the seafood felt like it was lacking something. They provide a good amount of meat for the beef version but I kept asking myself if the bowl was worth it. To me, it didn't feel like I got a good value. The milk tea with full topping was pretty interesting. The drink came with cheese topping and some cute animal toppings. I liked the cheese foam as well cause it wasn't overpowering. The cheese topping can taste strong sometimes and its kind of strange, so if you're not really into a nacho cheesy flavor then I highly recommend not getting it. Overall, it was alright. Unassuming little plaza, plentiful parking. Cute ambiance inside, customer service appropriate. Opted for the milk tea drink with all the jellies! Cute and fun concept! Each jelly had a hint of different flavors, for example the cheese one had a hint of cheese flavor, the pig shape had a chocolate filling, one had a brown sugar taste, one was a hint on the fruity side, boba was as expected. I didn't stop by the store few years ago when we were in town visiting because of the mix reviews and I thought they would specialize in ramen vs milktea. I feel like the sweetness was good enough with ice. Not terribly just sugar taste. I love the secret flower tea so much. It's so fragrant and strong. The hippo signature milktea was pretty good as well and that didn't disappoint me as their signature drink. I love the details of the toppings. Feel like too cute to eat them. Kinda sad the cheese foam topping got mixed in with other topping so I couldn't do a good photo on that topping box. Overall I think it's good to give them a try even if you live out of state like me. I heard about this place after her friend of mine told me about all their unique toppings they offer with their drinks, including any Labubu shaped topping. However, for my first time I wanted to go with their signature milk tea with boba and popcorn chicken. Their milk tea was good, a little on the sweet side, but I forgot to ask for adjustments. The boba was fresh and chewy, and well done. I really enjoy their popcorn chicken dish. It was the right ratio of breading to chicken, and it was fried very well giving each piece an even texture. I came here to try the $18 bucket. Although I think $18 is more expensive than the $12 bucket from Unu but the store has such cute bucket that has a straw hole. They also gave a lot of toppings for the bucket. I thought I ate all the toppings but still found more at the bottom. I chose Thai green tea and didn't expect much from the tea. But the tea was actually also fragrant and full of tea flavor. The preparation takes a while though even though the shop had a few customers. I waited for about 10 minutes to get my drink. The designs are super cute and some jelly had filling in them like chocolate and cheese. I got the secret flower milk tea and green Thai tea and they were very fragrant! I first saw this location on tiktok and thought I would give it a try. I've also been craving thai green milk tea and that drink is one of their popular drinks. Decided to come here on a Sunday before a badminton session. I got the thai green milk tea with light boba since it comes with pandan jelly already. The picture showed a circular ice cube so I was looking forward to getting that but it only came with regular ice. I wonder if you have to sit in and eat or request for that type of ice. I also got the garlic fries. My order took 10 minutes to make. My verdict is the thai green milk tea is solid. I dont mind them making the tea flavor a bit stronger, but the flavor and sweetness level is just right. I was also surprise that the fries portion was very decent, but flavor is okay, not great. All in all, service was normal, drink was good, fries were okay tasting but portion was generous. Also, fries and a drink only came out to $12.99 which is a good price these days. Anywhere else and I would expect to pay $16-$17. The boba was also good tasting. I would rate 4.5/5. I would probably visit again too if I'm in the area so if I try something great next time I might rate it higher in the future. read more
