Omg this place is such a hidden gem, wonder why they dont get more exposure for having such authentic food taste. We called in advance to let them know that we were going to dine there with a party of seven and we were seated immediately, had our order taken, and the food came out decently quickly as well. **January 2026: Saturday Afternoon Visit** My friend and I just flew in from out of town and wanted something soupy to warm us up. I found Binh Duong Quan in my Westminster bookmarks and thought we could try it out. When I put the address in into GPS it brought me to a different plaza, so I'm not sure if thats unique to my system or not. Regardless, we walked through the back way and found this restaurant at the corner. We arrived around 2:30pm and it still had a number of asian patrons dining despite the off-dining hour and rainy cold weather. We were greeted by an enthusiastic host and informed that this establishment was cash or Zelle only. Thankfully, I carried enough this time so FYI - bring cash! The Banh Canh Cua Dac Biet (Seafood Udon Soup) seemed to be the most popular item on the menu so we each opted to order a bowl. Soon after we placed the order our bowl arrived pipping hot. The seafood on top was arranged very beautifully and the broth was just what I needed to warm up The crab, scallops, abalone and shrimp all had great texture and both my friend and I basically demolished our bowl which should be a testament to the quality of the dish. Every bite tasted fresh, and the toppings were prepared well. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy when I visited, they clearly maintain the quality of their ingredients. At other places, I've sometimes noticed that the meat tasted like it had been prepared the day before -- not spoiled, just not as fresh. Rushed here at lunch hour today after seeing so many great reviews. I ordered the egg noodles house special, served dry, with the broth on the side. It came with sliced pork, shrimp, pig's heart, ground pork, chives, pork rinds, and bean sprouts. It took forever to get it. I was so disappointed at first bite because the noodles were so bland. Then I noticed a bottle on the table saying "Sauce for dry noodles". So I squeezed some over the noodles and also added a spoonful of chili paste. It made a whole world of difference. Very tasty. First time dining here after reading some of the reviews. We ordered bún riêu. The broth and crab balls were ok, tofu and fresh vegetables/herbs plate were good. The mì khô đặc biệt was good but it was my mistake of squeezing a little too much of the sauce from the bottle. Thankful that the side soup bowl wasn't salty and it balanced out the noodles after chewing each mouthful. For customers who has never ordered a dry bowl noodles dish...Do not pour the soup into your bowl; it is meant to be spooned on the side. The lady that took our orders brought out the sauce bottle and jar of pickled jalapeño with sliced garlic (glad I scooped the thinner and smaller sliced jalapeños because they were not spicy for me) out of the mini fridge to eat with this dish. If your waitress forgets to bring these two items out, ask for them. I will come back to try different dishes. The food came out quick and service was friendly, about 10:30am Friday. The decor was pleasant and the music wasn't loud. The track was on repeat of Andy Lau's songs in Chinese. Bathroom floor, although clean, was making a sticking nose each time I took a step. The Mien Kho Tron that I ordered tasted OK. However, I was a bit confused about their Credit Card charge policy as in attached photo at the counter. So, if I ordered something (such as their Seafood Udon) which costs $19.95, with tax and tips the bill will just be over $20. Then I would have to pay $2 fee to use credit card, that's almost 10% fees! I know that credit card companies do not charge vendors that much for transactions. It's ridiculous.
