So when we went to Gocha and saw that you were able to customize your milk type, I was pleasantly surprised! I love wintermelon milk tea, and jasmine milk tea...and Gocha had a wintermelon jasmine milk tea as a single drink. This was just so niche for me that I had to order it (and subbed it with almond milk). I really enjoyed my drink! The only thing was that the ice melted pretty fast when the tea was brewing (I assume), so my drink was more room-temperature rather than cold. Other than that, the flavor was great! He ordered the passion fruit flavored tea with aiyu jelly and I had the grapefruit garden with crystal boba. The green tea was brewed perfectly. It didn't have that bitter taste. My only complaint was my grapefruit jam wasn't completely dissolved or mixed into the drink. I don't know if it meant to be like that or what but it just felt weird to suck up a glob of mushy jam. I was craving a milk tea and happened to walk by this place so I was excited. They had the menu taped to the front window and the flavors looked good so I went in. No one welcomed me or said hello. I went up to the person at the counter to ask how much it would cost for a blended milk tea. The kid had the personality of a sponge. He looked so unhappy to be there and it was like pulling teeth to get any information out of him. I finally just ordered what I wanted because I was getting tired going back and forth with the kid. Fortunately, the milk tea was excellent and was exactly what I was looking for. This place has a great product but the management should train their employees to be friendlier and more helpful to customers. Their pricing on some items like the milk tea isn't very clear also. They have so many products that it can be kind of confusing about some items they sell. Maybe they should present it in a different way. This is the second location of GoCha (The first Gocha is located in Gladstone, MO). GoCha 2 is located in Westport which took over the Teadrops Tea Shop that used to be there. I first came here the day after their grand opening, which was on October 1st. They had a promotion of 20% off their drinks for a whole week. I usually go to the other location in Gladstone and am a big fan of their Jasmine Green Milk Tea! When I arrived in the cafe, I was greeted by two or three workers which was nice and made me feel welcomed. The decor inside is really cute, they have bench tables seating and a few comfy couches. I ordered the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Cheese Foam at 50% sweetness level. It was amazing, the perfect balance of the sweet milk tea and a little salty with the cheese foam. The best thing I noticed about GoCha and a great niche is their 24 oz cup lids that has both options to sip from the cup or have the holes for the two straw sizes. #1 Tip: When you order any drink with Cheese Foam, ALWAYS get the 24 oz size cup that has that lid. Then, first and foremost sip your drink from the lid, it will give you the best first sip ever~ The salty/foamy taste of cheese foam with the sweet tea flavors mixed together = bomb a$$ boba tea drink! Again, their cup is very unique and unlike other boba tea places I been to around Kansas City. Most of the time they use those sealed plastics to cover their cups. My two friends I came with ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba, the Avocado Cream Smoothie, and Earl Grey Milk Tea at 30% sweetness level. They were also very good when I tried them! Overall, I came back three other times and got the same combination of Jasmine Green Milk Teas with different toppings all within one week LOL! Talk about being a regular customer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good Boba Tea or just want a nice cafe to chill and meet up with friends. If you plan to come back again, make sure to get a punch card to collect those drink purchases~ Your 10th drink will be FREE! However, it doesn't count when there is a discount being used. I have always loved Gocha but it is even more exciting that they have a second location. It is in the old Tea drops building in Westport. The decor is absolutely adorable and there are even public Ukelele for us to try out. They have a mini case of sweets by the register as well. I got the Golden Kiwi tea which is very refreshing in this hot weather. The atmosphere was open and inviting. They furniture is perfect for studying. My friends have gotten the wintermelon milk tea which they love as well so that might be another option to try out if you like wintermelon! Unfortunately, all of their drinks do not come with toppings so you have to add on whichever toppings that you want for an extra charge - around .50 cents each. Parking can be a bit difficult in westport but we have always managed to find a parking space (just circle around once or twice)! GoCha 2 is such an awesome place, I don't know where to start! Almost any drink you try, you'll love. I've had multiple drinks, my favorites are the Thai Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Coffee, and the Cappuccino Milk Tea! The brown sugar boba is amazing, it has alot of flavor and makes your drink pretty sweet on its own! I usually get my drinks with minimal added sweetener. The employee's are all super helpful on deciding what to order, and the establishment has a very cozy feel to it. They have games, and ukuleles that any customers can use! Definitely a favorite place to hang out during my lunch break. My only slightly negative thing is that the drinks can be pricey compared to other Boba cafes in the area. read more

I cannot tell you how happy I am that GoCha opened up a second location closer to where I live! My friends and I stopped by on their grand opening day to take advantage of their 25% off deal! Walking in, I was super impressed with the furniture and decor. The furniture is clean and cute which is a nice update from the old furniture Teadrops had. They also have a public ukelele if you want to play for everyone! I settled for a rose milk tea and it did not disappoint! It was the perfect rose flavor: subtly floral taste but not overpowering. The inner part of KC desperately needed a new Bubble tea spot and to be quite frank, I didn't like Teadrops that much which this place is replacing. I frequent the original GoCha up in the northland and can say that it's pretty much the same top notch quality with a slightly better interior. It feels way more cozy and modern than Teadrops. The employee actually came out to where I was and handed me my order which is unlike the first location but I'm not sure if that's the norm since it wasn't busy. Anyways, the only thing I would say is that I think the bubbles they use are blander than the original location. I love GoCha in Gladstone, so I am BLESSED that they have a new location in Westport. They're in the old Teadrops building, but their drinks are just as amazing as their other location. My most recent drink was the Rose Milk Tea with boba, and I thought the flavor was delicious without being too overwhelming. My friend got the Lavender Milk Tea, and she remarked that their drinks are delicious without being too sweet.
