Oh Lord...we're gonna need a bigger hand! This is the Choo Choo Cheeseburger. Holy whopper Batman!! This will be lunch and dinner for sure. The Rueben, oh hello cheesy goodness!! Head to Ester and hang a smart right into that parking lot and get in line for that caboose!! Delicious!

The GREATEST drive thru in Fairbanks! Located next to the Gold Hill store and gas station. The breakfast burritos are outstanding and inexpensive! Marcel is an absolute delight and a very sweet woman! Don't miss this hidden gem! The tortilla are cheese encrusted!

This is another Fairbanks gem worth checking out. I only wish I could get a hold of one of those burritos right now. The place is really cute bing an old train cart but more importantly the food and service was great very friendly and quick to burrito has plenty of flavor and is literally as big as your face well worth the money.

My first time here and I got the Railcar Rueben. It was served on toasted rye bread and thousand island on the side. The bread nicely toasted and buttered. The corned beef was not overly salted. The sandwich was piping hot so the Swiss was nice and gooey. I wish the sauerkraut was a bit more tangy but still very tasty. Staff was very pleasant and explained the daily special-- which I would have ordered if I had known prior to ordering. The espresso was good as well Not much there in terms of seating. Drive up ordering. Worth the wait Will be back to try other items.

I wasn't planning on stopping here; I was interested in the liquor store nearby, to see what eclectic local brews they might have available. The fact it was an old caboose piqued my curiosity. The menu looked quite nice and appealing; and fairly priced. I had the Ruben which was fresh and delicious; bread was nice and slightly chewy and they put the Russian dressing on the side. Doesn't matter to me because how else do you eat Ruben (?) but I'm sure many people would appreciate that. Kudos.

Burrito is so good. If I have a chance to come back to Fairbanks, here is the breakfast of my first choice. I highly recommend this place.

My husband had a normal breakfast sandwich, and I had a gluten-free one. We were comparing the textures and consistencies, and they looked pretty close. Best gluten-free ciabatta I've ever had, though I've never had gluten-free ciabatta before lol. Texture was soft and fluffy, and didn't fall apart in your hands as you were eating it. Coffee and Matcha were very tasty, but slightly not warm enough. Overall, a great experience though. I ended up buying a couple of pastries to go, which all were gluten-free. There was a large selection in their Bakery case of all gluten-free items. Some dairy free Options too. One of the pastries I ended up taking back home with me to Florida and it held up. It was an almond cake. Though I had it in my bag and it completely fell apart. It was still super soft and delicious several days later! Definitely the spot to go if you are gluten-free!

We also ordered a caramel macchiato and a plain black coffee. If you are dining in, they do offer a refillable mug and you can get up to three free refills. The drinks came out pretty quick and to be honest, we were very disappointed. The caramel macchiato tasted medicinal and the black coffee didn't taste like coffee at all. It put quite the damper on what to expect for food if our drinks were this bad. Our food came out shortly after we got our drinks. However, the baguette sandwich wasn't anything to write home about. It was dense and pretty dry. The bagel sandwich on the other hand exceeded my expectations. I didn't have high hopes especially after having the coffee and trying the baguette sandwich, but the bagel was perfection. The cheddar on the bagel was toasted and crushed to perfected, the cheese, egg, and veggie combo was fluffy and gooey. My husband agreed that the bagel sandwich was definitely worth it and would come back for. Customer service was nice, everything came out very promptly and fairly quickly. There is quite a bit of tables inside with a variety of high and low chairs and felt very cozy.

The people who run this place are putting out some very bad, judgemental, shitty energy. The party I arrived with all purchased and paid for their items separately. After we left, we discussed our experience and we agreed that my feeling was not isolated. I ordered last and got some items to consume on site and a half dozen of bagels to go. I let the cashier know Id let their help chosing, but I would like to include a Rosemary Salt and to exclude sweet bagels such as Raisin. She confirmed my order. When I got home, I had no Rosemary and TWO Raisin. In hindsight I'm sure it was spite. She just seemed like that kind of person (mean girl, anyone?) Since I told her I was from Anchorage she knew there was nothing I could do about it. I gave her a good tip. WTF?!?! As a business owner that is just another D move. I hope she gets a flat tire when its -35 and whoever she calls for help doesnt answer her call.
