Annoying service. I never eat here because everything tastes ridiculously salty, but one of my daughters loves their noodles, so I took her. There was a couple in front of me ordering everything on the menu, so they moved me to the front, along with my kid's tray. Once at the register waiting, the man (fool) helping the couple handed the big order to the lady at the register to charge them up. The lady at the register then asks me to move back, at which point the couple still orders drinks and another small item. Once it was our turn, the cashier says " two item combo?" I said no, one. She then opens the tray to confirm what I said, followed by an exaggerated shocked look, surprised by the amount served (it was a lot). She then turns to scream at our server in her foreign language, clearly upset at the amount served. She then turns to see me visibly upset at everything and awkwardly chuckles without apologizing. Why ask if she's going to check or why not mark the plate? Don't ask if you think I'm going to lie or just call me a lying cheapskate to my face! The server was not in any kind of uniform. There were two other employees, one operating the drive thru and one cook, both in uniform. We were greeted with a blank stare. No hello or how may I help you, we actually had to just start ordering. The food wasn't all that great either. I ordered a 3 item combo with half fried rice, half chow mein, broccoli beef, spicy orange chicken and bbq pork and my wife ordered a 1 item combo with fried rice and orange chicken. The broccoli beef was bland as was the fried rice. The spicy orange chicken although it had good orange flavor, it wasn't spicy at all, not even a little kick and the bbq pork was overcooked and there was a puddle of grease and the bottom of the container. Over all, not a pleasant experience. I usually give businesses the benefit of the doubt when some mistakes are made. However, customer service is key to making customers feel wanted and respected and she failed on that most important level. We will not be giving them a 2nd chance. read more

The plus: Delicious food! Easily the largest AND best tasting egg rolls I've ever had from a fast food restaurant. The service is also above average. The minus: About the same cost as places like Panda Express. The portions aren't as big as some of the other local places (although still way more than Panda Express) but the quality of the food makes up for it. Would go back again for sure. read more

Really teetering between 3 and four stars here.... Decided on 3 out of personal cuisine preference and that it is plain and simple just not good for you to eat more than every so often. Got what we needed, my husband pulls next door to Golden Chopstix. Having no idea what to make for dinner or no nerves left to think about it, I was pleasantly suprised. Set up is the same as panda express with 1,2 or 3 entree options ranging from $6-8. We had no idea you can both noodles and rice so I opted for fried rice, my husband for a box with noodles, one with rice. After that the boxes are already stuffed, but they manage to heap enough meat for two on top of that. They didn't have what I wanted (sweet n sour chicken) but told me right away they can make anything I want, even with tofu or any variation of meat/sauce. Tofu was tempting but this surely not the place to even consider being healthy, so classice also ok sweet n sour chicken it is. Out piping hot by the time we paid for our meal along with two veggie and one beef eggroll ($1 each) Everything was good, exactly how you would expect it to taste. Very sweet, tons of batter, enough for two but I ate it on one sitting. The beef egg roll wasn't that great, the veggie fine. In all great for a change of pace and if you are very hungry. read more

I asked if they were making fresh orange chicken as there was only a couple crummy looking pieces left in the tray she said yes I said good I'll have that then and 2 other items she then gave me the few crummy pieces instead of waiting for the fresh stiff I asked for... and then on my second item she actually pushed aside the fresh looking stuff on top to give me crummy old burnt looking food from the bottom of the tray.... my tray is as half full like Panda Express... the golden chopstick across the street packs your tray full, I'll never go to this olace again. read more

We went up to the cashier and asked for a refund because we were absolutely disgusted by it and they tell me, "sorry, we don't do refunds" "would you like something else?" The food was plentiful, and tasted great. I had the lemon chicken and sweet and sour pork with the chow mein. I had enough to take home for dinner. Problem was, my husband at dinner was complaining of a sour stomach. About an hour later my stomach started hurting too. The rest of the night I spent on the porcelain throne. Great portions, fantastic prices. Veggies are so fresh, and the meat is excellently done. This is not the traditional Chinese chain, its so much better!! So much better for you! My only complaints are that there are two Golden Chopsticks within 2 blocks of each other, when we could certainly use another store on the other side of Apple Valley on Hwy 18. And the staff at this particular store is pretty quiet, not unfriendly but not friendly either. read more

I highly suggest NEVER coming to this location. Went through the drive thru for a quick meal and it turned into a 20 minute debacle. We ordered 3 things and 2 of those items were not even added to our order when given our light bag we asked if everything was in there upon checking it was NOT when we brought it up to her she charged us for one of the additional 2 items we were missing and we immediately noticed the last item (small steamed rice) was still not in the bag. After 20 minutes of her running around like an idiot she offered to throw in one free egg roll for the price of the small steamed rice. I'm not one for expecting free things but come on!!!! I have eaten here many times. The food is always nice and hot, and seems to be fresh fairly often. The people here are very very nice. We have always enjoyed eating here. They do offer free water, and it is self-service. Are usually get the spicy orange chicken, which has great taste to it. I really don't eat at Chinese food chains. After having eaten at Panda a dozen or so times I either didn't like it or got sick. From then on I just stuck to the nice restaurants or the little restaurants. Then I ate at Chopstix. And found there is such thing as a Chinese chain restaurant that actually has a strong good taste. Not bland at all like Panda. I have only eaten at the Chopstix in VV and AV and each time it was very good and the portions were much more than I wanted. There really is no place that provides so much good food for such a small price. read more
