We love this Golden Corral... the people are great. Especially the kitchen manager Randy. He spent time discussing the desserts to us because we are diabetic. Our waitress was especially nice too, I can't recall her name right off. It was my grandfather's 94th birthday and they made him extremely happy by singing to him and making him feel great on his special day. Came here on Sunday for the first time ever ! Honestly my husband nor I was impressed ! There was a lot of different food as it's a buffet and so many choices but the food didn't taste good to my husband or I ! I am giving this place two stars as our waitress was amazing , kind , and always available when we needed anything! I also felt this place was pricey . We came in a little before noon before the church crowd then it got very busy very quick !! Do i recommend? My husband took me to Golden Corral for my birthday. I always start off with a salad. I had piled some lettuce on my plate then went for some carrot shreds. There was a mushroom mixed in which I didn't see til it landed on my lettuce. I am highly allergic to mushrooms so I left the plate there. I ended up going for other food items, but was disappointed in the quality of the majority of them. The place wasn't very busy so maybe some care could have been given to the appearance of everything. The staff was amazing as always. Very sweet and attentive. My husband, myself and my step-son went to the Golden Corral in Morristown, TN because of their ads for prime rib. We have been there before and sometimes they are not awful. Today was not that day. First, I know they are very busy, but the place was filthy. The floors, the tables, the restrooms, and some of the staff. Sticky, dirty food stuck to everything. They need a good Shop Vac and a bottle of 409. If you feel compelled to tip, just leave them some cleaning supplies; they are in desperate need. Back to the food: The prime rib was way overcooked. Way, way overcooked. The server said they were usually pink but today all of them were overdone. All of them. Not one was edible. (She went and checked because we complained.) The prime rib was so overcooked it knocked out my dentures. That is ridiculous for an item that they brag about in their ads. I feel that we were completely ripped off. It's the biggest reason we went there and we could not get what we paid for. If you are going to advertise a specific item in a national ad campaign you need to make sure you can deliver an edible version of it every single day. They cannot. They need to train their cooks in Basic Meat 101. They obviously do not care in the least about the customers and will dump any slop on a plate whether it is unpalatable or not. We were completely unsatisfied and I will not trust any more of their advertising. Shame on me for falling for it but shame on them for ruining a crap load of beautiful cuts of prime meat. I am also very disappointed that after we complained to the server and the problem could not be fixed, that the manager never came to speak to us. That is a sign of lazy incompetence. Went here on a Sunday afternoon, about $14 per person not including drinks, pay that separate ..plenty of parking and great location. It was pretty crowded but there was seating. Lots of things to choose from. Staff was exceptional and very friendly and professional. Love that the plates & silver ware were stocked constantly. The food here is pretty good!! We went to the Golden Corral in Morristown Tennessee yesterday for Brunch. As we work every weekend, we could never go to the Brunch until they started having Brunch during the weekdays. It was awesome! Best breakfast in Morristown. They had about everything. Several different kinds of sausage, bacon, city or country ham, sausage gravy or chipped beef gravy, scrambled eggs or an omlet bar, it Includes drinks too! Coffee, juice, milk white or chocolate, French toast or pancakes. You can even get fried chicken as the lunch food is there too. If you want the best deal in Morristown and the best deal at Golden Corral, go have the new weekday Brunch. I will be going back. read more

We were welcomed by employees as soon as we walked in the door which was very pleasant made us feel very welcome. The food was hot and delicious the new soups they have on the bar are amazing. Visited the Morristown, TN Golden Corral on 03/24/2018, first and last time for that. Only good thing there was the staff. The food was not what you would expect for the price you pay ($51.08 for 3 people + tip). The onions on the salad bar were brown, ice cream machine was broke, and fried chicken tasted burnt, just to name a few. In the bathroom they had no warm/hot water, only cold. read more

Visited Morristown on 5/4/17 and decided to eat here for dinner given I have eaten at many Golden Corral restaurants around the country. The restaurant was almost empty at 7 pm on a Thursday night - that should have been my first clue that is hands-down not only the worst in this franchise, but may be one of the worst restaurants I have eaten of all time! Nasty, gross, dried, recycled and old food! I later inquired with some of the locals I was visiting about this restaurant and they confirmed that they don't eat at this location as the food is not fit for animals. Frankly, I can't believe Golden Corral corporate would allow this franchise to operate with their name. read more

Do not eat here , we decided to stop and get lunch here one day, and we started to eat our first plate of food, and the meat loaf was pink inside, the BBQ chicken was raw inside, and then I looked over at the ice cream bar and there was a ROACH crawling on the bar. I went and got the nearest employee and she killed it and went on about her business like it was no big deal. I looked back over while looking around for the manager and there was another ROACH this is the 2nd one in less than five minutes , I get the manager and he takes our receipts to the counter and then tells us he can't refund us our money but instead gave us 3 tickets for a free dinner! ( But note: WE WILL NOT BE BACK) the manager then tells us this is the second complaint in 2 weeks and that they are trying to get it under control!
