Despite the not great reviews on Yelp, we decided to give this Golden Corral a try one night when we wanted to switch up our dinner location. I thought the decor was nice. They had a big Christmas tree up in the center of the room and a few other touches around the dining areas. The tables and floors were all clean and most of the buffet area was clean, as well. The food selection was a little unimpressive, but maybe I'm just used to larger buffets. They had American and a few Asian-style dishes available with a fruit and salad station too. Unfortunately, most of what we tried we didn't love. It was either too dry, not flavorful enough, or just.. not great. But, we truly enjoyed the sirloin steak that is cooked to order fresh in front of you on the grill and the pot roast. Both were juicy, fresh, and had an overall great taste. We also appreciated the soft serve ice cream station with fun toppings like chocolate and caramel sauce and gummy bears. Our waitress that managed our drinks and plate removal was politely and friendly. I can't say that we'll be back, but it was a passable experience.

Bourbon chicken tastes like roasted chicken doesn't have that sweet savory taste. The rolls are soft on top and like a rock on the bottom.

Maple bacon muffin would have been great for breakfast maybe. Not really that good. Steak is fatty and tough and the yeast rolls are a hit and miss. Bourbon chicken a complete failure.

I will start this off by saying that Golden Corral is 90% worth it. 14$ (don't get fountain drink, just get water bc soda pops up the price to 18) for all this food is a steal. Huge dessert section with fire cotton candy and slushees. We went lunch so there was no steak but the pulled pork and grilled cheese was filling and the spread of food is very wide. I also did not get diarrhea or constipation afterwards, which is huge. I will say tho food taste/texture factor is not that high, I think the novelty of different foods makes it not bad. Would come again after lots of convincing by my Golden Corral ambassador friend James & Jon.

    Chinese variety

Everything was good but Taylor swift on repeat ruined the whole experience. Would suggest a change of music especially a variety

Food was way overcooked and dried out sitting on the buffet. Salad bar was good but hot foods were disappointing.

It seemed to attract a lot of nearby people on their lunch breaks as well as students. I went in late December so it wasn't too busy and I found parking around the corner. I was seated and browsed through the menu. I ended up ordering: - Warm HK milk tea: I found this overly sweet overwhelming the milk tea - Pork with egg: This was under the HK menu with the char siu, crispy duck, and chicken option. What I got was not what I was expecting (char siu and boiled egg). The plate was more egg drop soup with pork and peas. It also had a sweet flavor. - Dim sum for one: Sui mai was decent. Har gao was off. They must have put something meant for the dessert dumpling into it. Coconut didn't have the mochi consistency I was expecting. It was very soft, not at all sticky or chewy. Staff was really nice. I just didn't enjoy my meal, unfortunately.

This restaurant in Pittsburgh offers dining in, to-go, and catering. As of May 2026, the prices are $58 for a churrascaria dinner, $34 for a salad dinner, $37 for a churrascaria lunch, and $24 for a salad lunch. Desserts and beverages cost extra. For many years, Texas de Brazil has been one of our favorite chain restaurants, and my husband and I have eaten many meals here. For our most recent visit, we ate dinner. The gauchos brought meats to our table before we flipped our cards from red to green, and later they were slow in bringing other meats. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our favorite salad-bar foods--potatoes au gratin, jasmine rice, feijoada black beans, and lobster bisque--and our favorite meats--picanha, flank steak, filet mignon, and beef ribs--as well as the cheese bread. They also served chicken, lamb, pork, etcetera. I would prefer that we have been given more choice over how cooked the meats were. Money-saving advice: We purchased a $100 Texas de Brazil gift card off Costco for $80, and it covered much of the cost of our meal.

Very nice staff. They take good care of you here. Overall, great spot. You will walk out of this place feeling stuffed.

Unlike some other hot pot places I've been to, this place only charges for one pot and not for the food you get. I ordered everything that was available and it was all better then the last. I would especially recommend the pork, it was delicious! I had 3 orders of it. As I mentioned before, the food is delicious! While I couldn't get a photo, there was also a sauce bar. You had the option to get a premade one or get your own. I chose to make a teriyaki sauce and it was amazing! Definitely recommend checking it out while waiting for food to arrive. The waiter was so nice, I didn't catch his name but rest assured all of the staff is so nice and kind! They are very informative and know what dishes are good and bad. Now for the part that is hardest to nail down, the restaurant ambiance. I normally don't write about ambiance because to describe an amazing place to someone with just a few words is hard to do, but I felt I had to do it for this one. The restaurant looks very authentic and it is clear that they respect the culture that they represent.

It was not crowded at all, given the time of day. We were immediately seated and able to begin building our plates. The restaurant is large, and enough space for a larger party. There is both booth and table seating. There are two main lines, and then one in the back with desserts. I thought there were a good amount of choices, with a lot of variety so that anyone would be satisfied with their meal. The food was hot, and they were attentive to refilling things as they were emptied. My personal favorites were the various chickens, and the Crab Rangoons. There were some more unique items that were fun to try as well, such as the Seafood Salad and even some sushi offerings. The wait staff was quick and kind. Our drinks were refilled frequently, and they came to check our table multiple times. It is a small operation, as the wait staff was also refilling the buffet trays as they were emptied. Overall, I thought it was an acceptable buffet. It is not the largest I have ever been to, but is satisfactory and provides a lot of choices, For two for lunch, including drinks, it was a little over $30, and I thought the value was there for the price. A lot of the negative reviews of this place come around eating there for dinner, so the experience might be different if visiting at that time. However, I would recommend it for a lunch option if you are in the Green Tree area!

Our server was excellent and the auxiliary staff were courteous and efficient. We started with a calamari appetizer which was a little spicy but delicious. Beware of the two Thai chilies in the mix! Next my husband had the lobster bisque. It was quite rich with a large chunk of lobster as a garnish. Our main courses were a 10 ounce filet, wild caught shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and Chilean sea bass. Everyone loved their entrees. Our son especially loved the filet, it was so tender. We ordered two side dishes for the table and they were plenty for the three of us. Decadent lobster mashed potatoes and crabmeat fried rice. We shared a dessert, creme brûlée which was topped with fresh berries and served with chewy cocoa snowflake cookies. Overall the food was excellent. Service started out a little rocky. I had made a reservation online and it would only let me choose a high top. We don't like high tops so I called the restaurant a few days before and they assured me they could accommodate us with a regular table, not to worry. Upon entering and giving my name for the reservation, the Maitre D'être said it's for a high top. I explained that I'd called and we didn't want a high top. He said he could only offer us a booth in the lounge, so we took it. The lounge had a jazz trio playing and the music was a bit too loud for comfortable conversation. The server had to talk above the music to be heard by us. Luckily they took a break and when they came back the volume was lower. As we were leaving I noticed there was a whole dining room with empty tables which were NOT high tops. So why did they seat us in the lounge? Our drink orders were pretty simple, however because they serve the cocktails from the shaker, the server mixed up the dinks and poured my husband's margarita into my 'dirty' martini glass. So I had a three blue cheese olive margarita! A margarita-tini! He realized what he did, apologized and ran off to get another margarita for my husband. I had eaten the olives and tasted the margarita, which was very good. When he returned, he asked if I still wanted the martini and I laughed and said, yes, that what I ordered. So my husband got the benefit of two Margaritas for the price of one and I got three extra blue cheese olives! That was the only goof up. The rest of the meal was flawlessly served. I felt that even though the prices are high, the portion size and the quality of the food provide a good value. You expect to pay more in a place like this. It was well worth it in my opinion. And if you are there during Happy Hour you can choose cocktails and appetizers from the Happy Hour menu which is quite reasonable.
