I am so darn happy I have FINALLY found a Chinese food place like home in NY! The noodles are thin, they pile food on your plate, the food is fresh and the service is impeccable. They tend to push their egg rolls but that's the only food item that doesn't remind me of back home.....still looking for that NY egg roll with the bubbly crust! Still, this place keeps me coming back. My favorite meal item so far is the sesame chicken. HAVE THE SESAME CHICKEN! I wish I had the recipe. Or the breading at least. Unlike other restaurants like Panda Express where they have the food just sitting in warmers, here they make the food as soon as you order. The Chow Mein is my favorite, I love it. I've only tried the orange chicken and the Teriyaki chicken from here but I must tell you it's quite delicious. Well personally I prefer the orange chicken. I used to live around that area so my brother and I would go there at least once a week and so the owner who is such a friendly lady got to know us. After we moved away from there we stopped going. Saw this pace and decided to try it out. As mentioned everything is cooked to order, there is no heat lamps keeping the food warm. With that said I had higher hopes for better tasting food. Tried the 2 item combo which was $10.50 with orange chicken and walnut shrimp. Honestly all the food was very bland. I'm not a fan of Panda Express but it tastes better than this place. Found this place to be very great and delicious, this isn't your ordinary Chinese food place, they make it to order, food comes fresh and hot from the kitchen and you immediately notice and taste the great difference from any other place , highly recommend, the only downside I'd say is they don't have fountain drinks, so you just have to purchase canned or bottled soda to drink read more

I saw some bad reviews.... I've been around the world. This place has great Chinese food made by you guessed it Chinese. The food is fresh and cooked to order. Yes their English is limited. I'm not there to be a Grammer Nazi. Just order from the menu. Been coming here for awhile now and I have nothing bad to say about it. I enjoy all their food, the sesame chicken especially. Both the house specials of either fried rice or the chow mein is the best I've ever had. The woman at the register didn't have very good English and tried to get me to order dinner size instead of the combos. PS the combos come with so much that the diner size price is a bit of a ripoff. I took the food home and it was hot and amazing. We ordered string bean chicken and orange chicken combos. The orange chicken was hot slightly crispy and had just the right amount of spice for me. Overall I would say that the food is okay. We definitely werent impressed. Me and my boyfriend stopped by for lunch mainly because of the great reviews on here but honestly we won't be coming back. The best part of our meals were the entrees. The chow mein is bland and has a slippery texture. They are definitely generous with their portions but that doesn't exactly make up for what they're lacking. A lot of people compared this place to panda express and while the entrees are better they're also a lot more expensive. For both my boyfriend and I two two entree plates, two drinks, and an order of pot stickers cost about $36. Panda would have cost us about $20 for the same things and they give free refills. This place doesn't have a soda fountain only specific drinks in a refrigerator. One personal thing I didn't like is that the food was "piping hot" that's just something I hate is when your food is in front of you and you can't eat it because you're going to burn yourself. If the chow mein was good and the food was a little cheaper we would give it 4 stars. All in all I think 3 is fair but my bf rated it a 2.5. read more

The food is not greasy but the egg rolls were extremely greasy.
