We were told to come back in 10-20 minutes. There was no line or people in sight. We went in close to 8:00 PM and in total we were about 15-20 people spread out in seats. There were probably like 200 seats plus booths. I looked at their IG page and this show was not promoted at all. By the end of the night I think only like 10-15 of us remained (including staff). The comedians really didn't seem like they wanted to be there and sadly Craig Robinson spent his entire set sitting at his keyboard playing random songs. He must have scrolled through his phone like 15x looking for jokes and nothing was landing. Every single comedian told D jokes, which I don't mind them here and there but it was excessive from all of them and just not landing with the 15 of us there. I've been to many comedy shows and this was just awkward. Drinks are overpriced and there wasn't food...maybe a cheese thing, but that's all.

Every Sunday, they have different comedians and it's called "Chocolate Sundays". Mostly a lot of African American comedians are performing for Chocolate Sundays. They really make me laugh. It's 2 items minimum for drinks. I had the Blackberry Whiskey sour ($18), and bottled water. My friend also had the same cocktail and bottled water. Service by Sarah was great in every way! I can't comment on the food, because we had already eaten. I have had their food in the past, and it's just OK. Bar food. What do you expect? She invited me for her birthday and normally the tickets are $20 for each person. Parking is valet, $17.00. We parked outside. I HATE valet, and don't trust them from previous experiences at different places. Place is very clean, bathrooms needed attention. If you ever get the chance and the opportunity, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. They had 2 shows. We went to the one for 9pm, since the 7pm one was already sold out. We wanted to go to the 7pm one. Oh well, it was still a fine, great outing with a friend who I hadn't seen in a long time. She doesn't like taking pictures, so we didn't take photos. Real mad at the comedy store…read more First, we bought tickets to see Tiffany Haddish. She is an idol of mine. Her sense of humor is off the chain. But last night she was not on her game. She wasn't prepared. She wasn't funny. And she kept asking the audience if they had questions. Now I realize this is not the comedy store's fault. After all, she is a superstar. But what is their fault is that I called ahead and asked if Sunset Boulevard was open after a Watermain break. And they assure me that it was. Well, it wasn't. Which made me 45 minutes late for the show. So the Stage seats that I bought we're not available. And I was relegated to seats near the wall, where the talent was never facing me so you couldn't hear what they were saying. Their voices were muffled and you could only hear half the jokes. And that is the fault of the comedy store. They should have a better sound system that's not muffled so everybody in the audience can hear even if you're near the wall. It's so annoying to be within blocks of your target venue and still be 45 minutes late because of construction. Which they should be well aware of. So my evening was not at all pleasant. I was late for the show. The show sucked. We left halfway through.

Be sure to stay until the end to close out your bill. They automatically tack on a 20% service fee, so no need to worry about tip.

Once I was healed, I registered for a class, and the class was where I learned the hard way this isn't something I can do. I have a learning disability (diagnosed when I was young) and between that and some OCD, when I went to class I was focusing as much as I could on everything the man teaching it had to say, but because of my issues and trying to keep up with it I eventually started feeling light headed and dizzy, which can happen to me in circumstances like this. I did the best I could to absorb as much info as I could but it moved too fast for me to, and consequentially I flubbed the proceeding group exercises badly and it was clear the rest of the class was on the same page and because of my issues I was not and I could bring them down a bit. So I knew pretty quickly that this wasn't a good idea and I wouldn't be able to fully excel in it, and then I emailed the admin email for UCB explaining this and seeing about a possible partial refund and they left it on read without responding which means they'll keep my $525 because they can. I already know what their first response to this will be- that terms were made clear in the beginning there are no refunds so I admit that I am acting like I should be an exception here (maybe, maybe not) but I just want this to reach some people thinking of enrolling to know that if things don't work out for some reason, you will indeed walk away without getting your money back so keep that in mind.

I would say the only negatives, (not negatives but something to be aware of) is you might laugh too much. I always laugh myself into a headache.
